The (updated) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday. Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). Horse-riding and other dangerous activities are also actively encouraged.

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at ever opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronmyage to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed. If you're a midwife, you can even get other midwives to furkle for you Grin

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

wooo hooo i'm liking the happy vibe! Good news spreads so hopefully it will reach us all in some way or another soon. Congrats to Cremeegg and dyna and to BB on the high levels fablous news :D :D :D

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 09/11/2010 18:24

Woohoo Dyna!!! Grin Ultra-awesome. This is the most fertile thread I've ever been on.

It is also inspiring me to jump DH later tonight Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 09/11/2010 16:48

Yay Dyna!!! Grin

Dynababy · 09/11/2010 16:44

What is French for pee stick btw I might need to invest before coming home to check it's still there!?

Dynababy · 09/11/2010 16:42

Hi everyone! Can I join the party please!? I didn't resist early testing .. Succumbed to the first response I packed and got a BFP this morning at 12 DPO!!! Yay! I'm starting the dancing, just put on all the single ladies! Congrats cremegg and yay for high progesterone bb. Sorry short one on my I phone as away! Woo hop 'i'm so excited and I just can't hide it' .....

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 09/11/2010 15:40

Party?! I've got some Champers and party poppers and little sausages on sticks and runny eggs.

I love this virtual food/alcohol stuff! Grin

Miffles · 09/11/2010 14:36

I must admit, I did take a quick peek at the June thread, NMCB and TTL. Certainly chat a lot and filled them up quick, but lots of sympathy going round too. Stay with us crazy lot - it seems a shame to lose people viroids as soon as you get pg. Means it seems like we're always trying to escape! We're all friends now!!

Think we should have another thread party to celebrate cremegg's BFP and BB eggs.

Had the flu jab. Still alive.

SleepyCaz · 09/11/2010 14:23

Cremegg!! :) Congrats x

takethatlady · 09/11/2010 13:35

Yep, should not complain about the June thread as I'm bloody happy to be on it. It's just that no-one wears capes, no-one gets virtually drunk, and no-one rubs anybody else's ovaries. Is it any wonder we end up gravitating over here instead?

Glad the snorting is going well vallinna :)

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 09/11/2010 13:25

[grinGrinGrin for Cremegg and Brassica and a bit of PMSL at DarskStar's ovary rubbing.

Brilliant to see some good news for a change.

Also fingers (hooves) crossed for Horsey move Josie

I hope TTL and I aren't putting anyone off complaining about the doom and gloom of the June thread. Considering there is something stupid like 160 of us in there, it's inevitable that there will be a few upsets. Anyway the truth is we love all our fellow viroids so much Grin

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 09/11/2010 13:18

BB that is great news :)

vallinnapod · 09/11/2010 12:53

Woo hoo! nice one Cremeegg Grin

You funny lady darkstar - mine need some nuclear war to wake them from their dormant state!

Nope Miffles still snorting away! 2 weeks pure snorting and then you continue to snort while you inject (I know it makes no sense!) and only stop snorting when they tell you too. At £85 a spray bottle it's going to add up - about 1/3 through the first in a week!

Fab news BB - you deserve some good news!

JosieSmith1 · 09/11/2010 11:14

BB that's great news! Best of luck introducing the egg and sperm Grin

TTL shame the june thread isn't that great, it'd be fabulous if we were all on it obviously Grin

Miffles · 09/11/2010 11:01

Wahoo BB - that is great!! I'm so so pleased. At least you know your body is working. Mr Sperm, this is Mrs Egg. Please get to know each other!

takethatlady · 09/11/2010 10:55

bb that's amazing news Grin

You've got the sperm and egg to shake hands before - so I'm sure it won't be too difficult to make them get it on next time around!

Whoop Whoop creme! Fingers crossed for a sticky one! GrinGrin

I've had my day 21 blood test results back. They look for a result over 30 to show that ovulation has taken place and is high enough to sustain a pregnancy. Last cycle it was 19. This time it's 91!!! Yeah! Thank fuck for that! Grin Now I've just got to get the egg and sperm to meet and make friends!!! Most relieved though! Grin

takethatlady · 09/11/2010 10:33

Congratulations cremegg!!! Yaaaaay :)

Are you mad, though? Digital on FRIDAY? After a BFP on MONDAY? You need a chemist, and quick. At the very MOST I'd wait until tomorrow.

Buy a double pack like me and then if it comes back negative you'll still have one spare for later in the week :)

Sorry to hear about your horse josie, I really hope your dastardly plan of action works.

Still not posting on the June thread. It is an unrelenting site of misery at the moment ...

CONGRATS Cremegg!! Fantastic news! Really am pleased for you. We were due another BFP - and who knows, you may have opened the flood gates. Who's next to test?

Well, Milano - I last PIAJP about 1 hour ago...BFN obviously! But, in my defence, it was only cos I'm getting the flu joab today and it's not really recommended in first 3 months of pregnancy. So wanted to double check first! I think last AF was less than 3 weeks ago, so would have been a miracle if I was pg!

BB - to you. Wait and see what this 21 (or 22) day progesterone is. Is it definite that the low level would be responsible for the mc? I'm sure your DH will support you in whatever you decide and we have Vallinna blazing a trail for us down the IVF route. How goes it, Vallinna? You must've finished snorting drugs now? Wink

JosieSmith1 · 09/11/2010 09:30

PMSL DarkStar GrinGrin

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 09/11/2010 09:21

cremegg!!! That is brilliant news, well done you and DH Grin Oh how exciting. Quick, everyone rub their ovaries up against cremegg's post Grin

JosieSmith1 · 09/11/2010 09:14

Glad to report I'm feeling much better now, I think a good night's sleep had something to do with it, plus I got some of the aggro off my chest so dealing with it a lot better now, thanks for listening yesterday.

Thanks Milano, I miss the chitchat too!

Nervous, there?s no chance of even a few hours out, the yard gets so icy and they never buy grit so she can?t walk at all. It was a slip last year that started off the arthritis (or so we suspect). Plus when I'm at work there's no-one to put her out for me. She loves the snow though when she can get out. Fingers crossed I can get moved though, I have a sneaky plan of action Grin. Loving the mwahs Grin

Oh my god Cremegg, congratulations!!

cremegg · 09/11/2010 06:46

omg! i gotta (very faint) bfp! Caved last night as boobs were mega sore, so guess it must have been 10DPO, did another this morn and it was clearer.
Poor DH didn't sleep all night (i literally did it at 1030pm) poor guy! I think I told him the average time it takes is 6 months or something so I guess he took it as it would take that long exactly...I was a bit worried about his reaction but then he randomly started discussing names in car this morn so felt better!
Have purchased some digis to do on friday... trying not to get too carried away and still cant quite believe it!

ttl didn't go with scrambled egg on toast, upped it to omelete and beans, class!

sorry for v self indulgent post btw! Blush

NervousNelly · 08/11/2010 22:17

Just a very quick hello viroids.

Josie I know how tough that is, my last yard didn't hay in the field either Angry. If you do get snow, any chance your horse can go out for even a few hours without hay? Not great obviously, but much better if she's going to get arthritis. I suspect the winter blues are getting to you - early winter is by far the worst time for me as it stretches out so far in front of you. But it'll soon be spring :)

(sorry again for the horsey hijack!!)

. Looking forward to the test-fest. I'm about 7DPO so a few days behind. Not exactly feeling PG though.

Must go to bed now I'm on winter duties and early mornings. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Mwahs and hugs all round Grin

milanomum · 08/11/2010 21:24

Josie hugs to you my luvvie - I miss your chitchat here!
miffles, don't mean to pry, and sorry if I've missed it but have you POASd recently?

BrassicaBabe · 08/11/2010 17:11

Sorry you are having a tough time josie And there's no need to apologise on here for having a rant Smile

Sorry nickle too. I understand entirely how this proper fucks with your head. Hang out here and rant away!

Miffles we've been TTC since Jan. Even when I was pg the day 22 blood test result was quite low. So enough to ov but not enough to sustain pg. I'll see what the day 22 test is this week and if it's still low even on the 100mg clomid then I'm going to ask for a referral.
