I'm so sorry Shelly. Look after yourself. Keep talking, crying and smile a bit too. It will all come right for you soon, you deserve it to so much.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 13/09/2005 21:20

Just remembered that my hairdresser had a stillbirth followed quickly by a m/c.3 months later she fell pg again and following a very nervous pregnancy which she otherwise sailed through she had a little boy who is now 3

Welcome back Aunty!
They did an ultrasound on mine (apparently better at seeing everything on younger women than a mammogram). Good luck!
Diddle- Anytime hun! Can picture you now haring round a filed . Daft but really does work! God I'm such a hippy lol with all this back to nature lark and tree hugging (yep that works too).
Ch- You'll be fine hun, unless you don't judge where the bumper is and reverse into something only joking! Before you know where you are, you'll be thinking you've driven big cars forever!
Strike- Awww about af! Hope it eases off for you! Mine are getting worse but think it's endo worsening.
Ok all, off to finish chicken curry.
Peace out dudettes!

auntynon · 13/09/2005 15:18

Day off, hurray, haven't been on MN for ages. Haven't had chance to read through everything, you have all been very busy. CD 17 now, managed to do a fair bit of BD over the last week, fingers well and truly crossed. Would have been 14 weeks exactly today, I optimistically noted how many weeks pregnant I would be all the way up to Christmas in my diary so keep being reminded, won't be so quick to do that again.
Having ultra sound on breast lump on friday (although doc thinks it's nothing and is doing it as a precaution).

Going to a ball on Sat night, have just bought a gown at: get this, TK MAX!! Was talking to a friend also going and was discussing what we were wearing, I was wondering where on earth I could find something suitable and she suggested TK Max. I got a dress for £39.99, bargain!

Enough of my trivia, need to go pick up dd from nursery.

strike1 · 13/09/2005 14:44

Diddle, I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandad, I hope he's doing ok. Stay strong, but remember to let it all out when it gets too much. We're all here to listen.

strike1 · 13/09/2005 14:42

Hi all. Hope your doing ok CH, there seems to be so many of these mile stones don't there, but I know you'll get through.

Hope you're doing ok Shelly, good to see Diddle's jokes raised a chuckle

Well AF arrived in the early hours of this morning, 39 days! It's a nasty one this time, spinning head, bad cramps, like I used to get as a teenager, it's making me feel very tired. I must have missed ov last month by a matter of days, although I am worried that it might not have happened at all. Where and what are the best ov tests? You guys buy them online don't you?

Diddle · 13/09/2005 13:21

Coathanger - hope you're holding up ok today, and if you feel like you're not then just let it all out, cry as much as you want.
I love getting new cars too and i always promise myself that i will look after ti and keep it clean, but i never do.

Hellkat - Thanks matey, got a field at the end of the road, good place to scream and shout.
Hope af stays away for you.

CP - Grandad is not well, a little worse today, but i have spoken to his doctor and she says she thinks he will make a full recovery unless something major happens. he's had his antibiotics changed and that should make a major difference. so fingers crossed.
I seem to be surrounded by pregnant women and newborn babies, soooo many women in the school playgroud have starting showing over the school hols. Must bd more and really try hard.

Coathanger · 13/09/2005 12:18

Haven't got new car yet. Picking it up next Friday (ages to wait) but will be worth it!

Not sure if I'll be burning rubber! Scared stiff of driving it. Old car is a Focus so used to a smaller car, the Picasso is HUGE compared to it! Dread parking it!

HellKat · 13/09/2005 10:25

Yep here's hoping!!!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 13/09/2005 10:06

Morning all

DH has just taken DD off to see the ducks so I thought I would nip on.

CH I love the smell of new cars, dont you? My DD cleaned ours last week and it sort of had the newish smell.Hope today flies for you,I know how the significant dates are for us all.Its rotten I know AND you always bump into new babies or pregnant women dont you?!

Diddle Hope that all is well with you today. How is Grandad feeling, any better? I do believe that good things are on way.Really I do

Shelly24 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thinking of you always.Hoping that Friday has a really good outcome..

Hellkat I hope those BFPS come through for us!

Hi to the others and hoping that testing/BDing/life is going well for you all
xx

HellKat · 13/09/2005 09:37

Lol that mean you're going to burn rubber to test it out?

Coathanger · 13/09/2005 09:35

Thanks HK.

Not wanting to dwell on it to much...

Just phoned insurance company up and given them details of new car. I'm quite excited about this car (can you tell??) I love getting new cars!

Well, i'm off to the bank in a bit. I'll be on later xxxx

HellKat · 13/09/2005 09:28

Ch- {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}} aww babes.
Here's hoping sometime soon you'll get to that milestone and have a huge pudge to show for it. Thinking of you. If you need me I'm here. x

Coathanger · 13/09/2005 09:25

Morning all!

Well, I'm not going to say too much coz I will ball if I do. All I want to say is BIG {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} To you all. I'm sending lots of cyber love to you and thinking of you.

Thats all I'm going to say coz I'm not in a great way this morning and the sjightest thing will start me off. Got to keep it together today as I've got lots of serious things to sort out like bank stuff to do with new car.

I should have been 12 weeks today (I know I keep telling you that) so very hard, harder than yesterday i think. But I'll get there.

I mean it you know, I am thinking of you all. Some of you are having really tought times at the mo, but it will get better, and you all deserve the best so it will come - kama and all that!

HellKat · 13/09/2005 08:33

Just boogied around with ds2 to that cheesestrings advert (the "so you wanna be a boxer" song from Bugsy Malone) while no-one's around He runs to me everytime it's on so we can "Get down and shake booty". Lol I'm seriously not right and need help.

HellKat · 13/09/2005 08:29

Morning all.
Diddle- Hunny {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} you're really having a shite time atm are'nt you? Hope your grandad's doing better and you are too. If you don't want to burden dh (bet he would'nt mind though in the slightest) any way you can take yourself off somewhere pretty and quiet (nice woods, fields etc) somewhere you can let it all out (shout if you want) where no one can see or hear you? I've done that lol felt heaps better (apart from did'nt pick the quietest time and people walked by staring at me like I was a woman possessed ).
Cp- Looks like we'll be sort of testing together! Í'm probably testing Saturday now so not much before you!
Getting af type cramps but....... boobs are tender and swollen, really heaving at the smell of wet metal and got headaches. Ohhhh cannot get my hopes up!
How's everyone on this gorgeous morning?

Diddle · 13/09/2005 07:12

Morning all!

thanks cp and nicmum2boys - i'm very lucky to have this thread to support me and all you wonderful people.
CP, deep down i know you're right, and i like ht believe that to, lets hope you're right.
Nicmum2boys - Thank you, your kind words brought tears to my eyes, and don't worry about having only bd once on cd16, i believe its quality not quantity that matters.

Feel exhausted this morning already. Must take it a bit easier today.

OP posts:
nicmum2boys · 12/09/2005 23:44

Oh diddle (((((((((((hugs))))))))))) xxxxxxxxx. You poor thing, sounds like you are carrying alot on your shoulders at the moment. It must be so hard being in the hospital and all the memories, and what might have beens, and what might be to comes that go with it. There's so much I want to say to you, to reassure you, but fear it will not come across right written down, so forgive me if I sound like I'm having a go, I'm not, just want to try and be there with you as much as I can. You know nothing you can do will influence what happens with your Grandad. Wether you get pregnant or not it will not be your fault if the worst happens to him. I think it was good you had time to yourself to cry, but I think it would help if you can tell DH too, as it sounds like you need someone to hold you right now.

Coathanger glad you could fill your day with something positive, I probably won't be able to get on until late pm again tomorrow, but will be thinking of you xx.

CP my sentiments too, "and so it begins....." CD 21 here, think I ovd day 15/16, but that's just due to symptoms, as got neg opks, plus we only bd once on day 16 so not holding out much hope (but there's always that teensy little bit of me that can't help hoping), might test this weekend, if af hasn't shown up already.

Shelly (((((((hugs)))))))) the waiting is sooooo hard, I know. Thinking of you too xxxxx

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 12/09/2005 23:33

Sorry to hear about your grandand Diddle.

I like to think that life is like a balance. You know? Like if loads of bad stuff happens then something good is on way.Hope that doesnt sound daft.

I guess what I am trying to say that with everything you are going through some good MUST be on its way.I truly believe that though I know from experience that you sometimes have to wait for it.My adult life was a DISTASTER until I was 35 and met dh (no 2)and went on to have DD.I thought mmmmmm life is too good and then I lost dd2.Hoping now good stuff is due..

(For ALL of us on this thread xx)
