Does anyone mind if I join in? I've been sneakily watching but not daring to even think...

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 14:34

ARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

sorry had to do that

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 14:33

Well, if your sure...

Just feel like sh*t at the mo. Its been 5 weeks since I had MC and I'm struggling more now than then. When it happened I could cry and cry, let it all out and people were sympathetic. But now I can't cry, as well as feeling I shouldn't because people have quickly forgetten what has happened, I've found I have no more tears left.
Went shopping this morning with 2 friends and as 1 has a small baby (hard in itself) we ended up in the childrens dept of a clothes shop looking at baby clothes. I don't have a problem being in a kids dept as I have kids, but I couldn't do baby clothes. I was really upset and angry, but I couldn't cry. I was almost numb. I think its healthy to cry, but what happens when you can't let it out.

I also think it was insensitive to take me to that department. Why has everyone forgotten so quickly? I wanted to run, but I would have looked silly. They were cooing over baby clothes and actually saying " OO, look at this". Why do that?!?! They are supoosed to be friends.

And the one with the little baby keeps asking me to hold her little one whilst she does things with her older child. I don't want to hold her baby, it's too much right now. But I feel I can't say no because she would struggle with the 2 of them. So i feel obliged to say yes.

I'm actually finding myself feeling quite resentful towards PG women in the street now. Didn't feel like that at first, but its killing me now.

See i told you you didn't want to hear me moan, I've gone on too long now...

Diddle · 14/09/2005 14:18

coathanger - moan away thats what we're here for, might help take our minds off ourselves by supporting you. Hope you're alright

CP - you nutcase. have you used CAT now?

Hello everyone!

Oh, Shelly sweetheart, I'm so sorry. I hope you are looking after yourself and taking good care. Thinking of you and sending you lots of love. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hope the rest of you are okay today. HK you must test if you think you are, y'know. You must be careful.

Having a cr@p day today. I really want to talk to you but I'm not sure you want to hear me moaning, after all I'm not the only one having a hard time. Keep trying to tell myself there are others worse off. But why does that make me feel worse...?

Oh and BTW, thank you all for thinking of me even though I haven't been on much lately xxx

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 14/09/2005 12:39

I get told that all the time, count your blessings, your are getting on,call it a day.

But I NEED another child soooo bad and after all its my body.

Feel so sad for shelly,I wish we could all organise a suprise party for her birthday (not a suprise now)but I guess we are all scattered all over the UK.

Whats this CAT everyone speaks about,is it like secret messages?

strike1 · 14/09/2005 12:37

Afternoon girls. Well it's all a bit sad here today, and rightly so.Shelly don't worry about bringing us down we wouldn't be human if your situation didn't upset us. I hope you know how much we all care and hope that one day you'll have a brand new baby in your arms. Until that time we are all here for you and each other (starting to sound like Jerry Springer now so I'll stop) But loads of love your way Shelly!

And fingers crossed for you too Hellkat, we need a BFP to keep spirits up. When are you due to test?

I invested in a pesona thingy yesterday (bloody pricey, but worth it I hope) With a view to getting to grips with my cycle. I like the idea of using it after I've had a baby too (hopefully) cause I love to never have to worry about taking the pill again!

HellKat · 14/09/2005 12:34

Already thought of that Maddy. Thing is, I actually think I am atm! If I'm not, then I've been thinking about for a while, I think we will knock it on the head and just count blessings we have 2 healthy boys.
Be back bit later all x

maddyd · 14/09/2005 12:33

Its a nightmare isnt it. The pain we go through, for ourselves and others.

Im serioulsy thinking of giving up this ttc malarky. if i ever do fall pg, i will be a so scared of loosing it again. I dont know if i can bear to put myself through it all.

HellKat · 14/09/2005 11:32

Shelly- Oh god babes so sorry {{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}.
Tears in my eyes here.

shelly24 · 14/09/2005 10:23

Thank u maddyd
I can't help but think that i got pregnant alittle too soon aswell and that even though i wanted it so badly emotionally..physically i wasn't ready i guess
I feel so emotionally drained, and i hate to say it,near suicidal when we first found out that the worst had happened,(sorry, really shouldn't be saying that!)I don't feel like it now though, just utterly down and miserable,i wish i could see what the future holds for me,its soo hard to see anything beyond heartache and pain....sorry for putting a downer on this thread,i really don't mean to.x

Diddle · 14/09/2005 08:30

maddyd - morning matey, you've got me crying now, that was a lovely message, and you are obviosuly better at words than you thought.

maddyd · 14/09/2005 08:28

Shelly Honey. Im so sorry, i cant believe you are having to go through this. Maybe your womb wasnt quite ready yet. God you must be devastated. Have you got people there looking after you??? I really do feel for you, im not good with words but from the heart Shelly, i do hope your ok, your going to have to be strong again. Waiting for it to come away by itself is not an easy choice and it will be painfull both physically and emotionally. If it takes a long time then you could request a d&c and then you can grieve and recover more quickly. Take Care. My thoughts are with you. If i was with you id hug you, but i know we cant take away the pain. We are here for you xxxxxx

Diddle · 14/09/2005 07:00

Oh shelly - i've got tears in my eyes, I was dreading this happening to you, esp before finding anything out on Friday. I hope that you're doing ok.
I would imagine going through a m/c is quite diff to a stillbirth, so if you need to talk to us we will be here.
(((big Hugs))) for you and your family.
