Maddy- Ohhh ok I'll try. Lol probably doubtful though once I've bought the test (easy me saying it now while I don't have any).
Shelly- hot water bottles are amazing, wonderful things! Have a child-size one that alternates from down the back of my jammies to down the front when endo kicks off.

shelly24 · 14/09/2005 17:32

HellKat · 14/09/2005 17:29

Shelly- Hunny, if it gets worse, have a long soak in the bath with loads of smellies! May not stop what's happening but will make your physical side feel more comfy! Always helped with me. xxxxx
Ch- Wish Lidls was'nt miles away May have to take a trip there this weekend .
Maddy- Wahooo to testing sunday. if I muster more willpower, I may leave it and test with you!

maddyd · 14/09/2005 17:27

Have you got a hot water bottle, that may help? Im fine thanks Shelly, not to worried either way wether it happens this month or not. Obviously i want it too but if it doesnt i dont think ill be that upset as i have the wedding to take my mind off it. Im more worried aboutthe due date creeping up but again the wedding will keep me occupied so i dont dwell. xxx

Ch- Re-reading your post, your mates are really insensitive! If I were you and she asked me I'd say "No thankyou, incase you've forgotten I only lost my own baby a little while ago!" Then again I can be a gobby cow lol. But seriously, that's just not on! It's not like it was years ago fgs. Ohhhh proper narked me that has!

HellKat · 14/09/2005 17:14

Ch- Not sure hun. Af's are all over the place lasting from 1 and a half months to 2weeks. But if it's a 3weekly cycle, then due on Friday (that's what I was before) or if it's a 4 weekly one I'll be due next Friday.
Really freaking here! Even got dodgy taste in my mouth and headaches!
Ohhhhh Lidls!!! That swiss tasting one, big bar, cheap with the hazelnuts. YUMMMMMMMMM

shelly24 · 14/09/2005 17:13

God!!i've missed LOADS since i wrote this morning!!!!....no ones ever around when i send messages most of the time!!(does anyone else get that!?).
Am in lots of pain and have been summoned to the sofa, with a mug of tea, choccies and laptop!!Seriously though, its starting to really hurt, like the real bad period pains i got as a teenager,am afraid of the next couple of days as i feel its going to get alot worse before it eases off
Have just read through the messages.....
c.p:Thank you for CATing me earlier(i'd tried to do the same to u yesterday, but was unsuccessful....figures now as you haven't done it before!!)I will def take you up on your offer, just as soon as i'm feeling better,am ok typing at the mo...but not much else!!...have to keep stopping when the pain takes my breath away!!,lots of love and hugs to you.....(heres hoping a dd comes my way huh!!?then that would be REALLY weird aye!!??
c.h:I'm araid when people haven't experienced a stillbirth or miscarriage, that just don't know how to react and rarely take on board how you are going to feel having all things 'baby' where ever you go!!!I got really angry with some of my friends who just didn't have a clue!!!...i had to spell it out to them and they just genuinly didn't know that i would be like that!!Its a truely personal heartache, that is like no other, and can only be truely felt by people like us on mn.xSo you rant as much as you like babe.x
How is everyone else???....
Oh,and hellkat, don't you DARE think you can't share any good news(when not 'if' you get it!),just because of peepee and me,i'm sure i can speak for both of us when i say it would be fantastic to hear!!!(silly!!).x.x.x
Oh,and hi to wills,welcome aboard.x.x.

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 17:10

When would AF be due HK? Have you got a test at home?

And lidls nutty choc - YUMMMMMEEEEE!!!!!!

HellKat · 14/09/2005 17:06

Welcome Wills!
Ch- Awwwww hunny {{{{{hugs}}}}}}. Hope you feel better getting it off your chest! That's what we're here for.
Cp- Northamptonshire here hun! Was thinking earlier (great minds) would've been cool doing a surprise thingy for her. SHhh about choc!!! God I'm desperate for it (not sex, choc ). Ohhhh M&M's, nutty choc from Lidls, Starbars!!! Oh the list is endless!
Think I'm going to have to test, if anything put me out of my misery. Trying not to even dare think I am but it's there, niggling away, little voice taunting me saying "You're pg".

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 16:25

CP - why do people feel the need to say that. I'm in the same boat with 3 DS's already. I know I'm lucky but that doesn't make losing a baby easier. As you said Wills, having such gorgeous kids already makes me want another even more.

Sorry, CP, not in Manchester, I'm down Sowf (Kent)

Oh and Wills, 36 is not old!!!! But I know what you mean about it being too late. I'm meant to be going to uni to train as a midwife (if I get my place) and I think DH would rather I wait to TTC til I'm qualified, but that would make me 36 plus, and think I'll be a bit old then. But I suppose lots of women have babies much later than that...

Diddle · 14/09/2005 16:18

welcome wills, just wanted to say hi, very busy with the kids right now but will be back later. CH - briefy read your message thinking of you. hope you're alright, back soon

Anyway... Want to join in. Have never had problems concieving before, just carrying to term. I'm 36 and scared that as this is the second month of trying (but only first of seriously focusing) that this is not going to be easy. Petrified that between trying to concieve and possibly miscarrying I'm simply going to get too old. There said it! Its been wondering around in my head for days now! Phew feels much better now its out. Go on tell me I'm stupid

Wills · 14/09/2005 16:12

ChocolatePeanut! How dare they! I have two dds and they're wonderful. I've also had two mcs (+ 1 that I strongly suspect). My gp thinks I should be satisfied. Why!!!! The best thing I have ever ever ever done was create my two girls. Why should I not want more! and why should I be satisfied! AAARRRRGGGHHHHH

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 14/09/2005 15:57

Flippin eck did not mean to type an essay

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 14/09/2005 15:57

Yes I am on CAT now, sent shel a note so she can contact me.We have so much in common, both had stillbirth,m/c and lost mums at young age to breast cancer.Uncanny.As I now have a dd hoping that she will have that in common with me very soon

CH know what you mean about people forgeting. When I lost Philippa everyone avoided me.Now its like it never happened.Even dh said the other week 'I dont know whats got into you lately..' !!!

I screamed back 'Oh maybe its something to do with the fact that I had to give birth to my dead daughter and then watch you carry her coffin to be cremated??'He has been as nice as pie since.

Yes I know I have Lucy and I know how v v blessed I am.But I dont appreciate strangers telling me this as if it takes the pain away.

Your friend needs to put her brain in gear.Asking you to hold a newie so soon is v v hard.My next door neighbout had a boy three days before I had Philippa and though I went to see him early on I have not held him to date.Going to see another newie next week and I hope she knows to handle me with care!!

Gonna start testing Sun.It will be 10 days since ov and I have the early tests to be used from 7-10 days so heres hoping.Wish I could wait for period due date rather than go through the 'oh its negative, well I might have tested too early' saga but I am crap and have noooooo willpower.

Rant over, gonna go and buy a can of pop and some choc peanuts now before I pick lucy up

Do any of you live in Greater Manchester?

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 15:56

Anyone else there???!!!

Coathanger · 14/09/2005 14:55

Hi Wills! You are more than welcome to join us.

How are you?

Wills · 14/09/2005 14:47

Coathanger. It was insensitive, but people get wrapped up in the results not the route. Loads and loads and loads of hugs honey
