Missmibaby - I totally agree with Diddle, it is soooo hard to try and not get your hopes up, but it is only natural that we do. I try so hard each month to relax about it and not get obsessed with it but it never works and then when i come on it's the lowest of the lowest feeling and you have to pick yourself up and do it all again! But we will get there and when our bodies feel that we can carry a baby again, we will get that BFP! Try to stay positive - i know it's so easily said but please please dont bottle things up on here, you can be yourself 100%! xxx

Diddle · 20/09/2005 10:51

missmibaby - its tough isn't it, we all do that every month, and we try so hard not to get our hopes up, but really they are high already, then when you come on, all that hope is lost, but whne our bodies are ready for us to carry another baby then we'll have one. i truly believe that. There is still hoep for you this month isn't there? how long are you cycles normally?

OP posts:
Missmibaby · 20/09/2005 10:48

Thought I was coping really well. But realise now that was just because I was hoping that this month I would get pg. I am quite an obsessive person anyway and this is just at the forefront of my mind all the time.

Congratulations to those 2 who've just discovered that they are. Hope it all goes well for you.

Thanks for your welcomes - much needed. Hope I can return the support.

Hello - feel a little nervous about joining this thread. This is me
Age - 37
DS born April 2003
MC Aug 05

desperate for another baby - finding it impossible to think about anything else -

I'm CD 22 and I tested yesterday. Saw a very faint line which had disappeared by the time I got home from work. tested this morning and nothing. Feel like my time is just ticking away fast...

sorry if this is all a bit rambly. I am at work so can't stop for long but I do pop in throughout the day.

HellKat · 20/09/2005 09:11

Hc- Wahooooooo. Drinks on you then hun? . Anytime regarding the support. your always here for us. xx

HumphreysCorner · 20/09/2005 08:37

Morning ladies

Feeling brighter today apart from the fact BIL's works syndicate have won the Lottery big one from a few weeks ago (didn't check their tickets until now). I'm sure DH got it wrong when he said they won 68 million as the jackpot isn't that high so must be 6 million at least! Don't know how many are in the syndicate though as it is a big company. And I was delighted to win a tenner on Saturday. Moral of the story-we should be grateful for what we have got. Whispers I'd rather have the 6 million.

Have sent DD to MIL's as per usual Tuesday jaunt but without the travel cot as she is now in a bed and don't want to confuse her. Bet it blows MIL's mind!

maddyd & wills-hope you are both Ok today. ((xx))

Got to empty my hanging baskets today and generally tidy up so wishing everyone a good day and...

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING MORAL SUPPORT!!!

Byee
xx

Diddle i will prob test again a few more times till its sunk in properley

Had a lovely evening thankyou Coathanger. I crashed early. Dp was making sure i took it easy, he did the ironing.

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 08:07

Maddy - how do you feel this morning? Did you have a nice evening?

Diddle - how was your journey? Is Bas okay? Hows his marking????!!!!!

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 08:04

HC - Aww hun. theres still hope, don't give up yet. Everyone is different and every PG is different. It all depends on where in the month you OVed. I didn't get a positive til a couple of days after my AF was due. And when I brought this up with friends, they allhad stories of getting bfn's or very faint line days after their af was due. Keep yer chin up, luv! I've still got everything crossed for you (hurting now...eyes watering...)

Diddle · 20/09/2005 07:51

Hellkat - i can't survive without chocolate, its too yummy, and you only live once, as far as we know so lets make the most of it.

Maddyd - Very pleased to hear you're line is still there. With my 2nd pg I tested every week to make sure it was still positive. just with a cheapy test, reassured me.

Xena my dates came up as 3+6 4 weeks today. Due date 30th May, my DD birthday is 29th May i will prob have it middle of May though as i have to have C Sections as my pelvic bones are displaced.

HumphreysCorner. There is still hope, it depends when you ovulated. Alot of people dont get positives till the day theactually miss thier af. I have re tested this morning and its still very faint. XXXXXXXX

HellKat · 20/09/2005 07:42

Morning girlies!
HC- So sorry hun. maybe a tad early? Lol I said the same about diet. Last two days I've been consoling myself in choc and banoffee pie!
Starting the day with coffee and a bowl of strawberries with a chopped banana. Wonder how long before I'm hankering after choc?

Xena · 20/09/2005 07:37

Big Congrats Maddy. When does that make you due? BTW how early did you test? the dates by my scan show I got a BFP when I was only 3+2/3
