Coathanger · 20/09/2005 14:17

Not that I'm TTC but I like to keep track

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 14:16

I've always had OV pains since I was a teenager. I usually get a sharp pain (presumably thats when eggie pops out) then a dull ache for a couple of days afterwards...

...come to think of it i haven't had that this month. And no CM either and I'm on CD14...hmmmm, what going on there then??....

Missmibaby · 20/09/2005 14:14

You've all been lovely - just saying the things I feel.

Coathanger · 20/09/2005 14:13

Ooo, my word! Trying to think of the things i've said over the last few weeks Hope i've been a good girl...

Diddle · 20/09/2005 14:09

missmibaby - i never noticed ov pains until after my niscarriages, i thin they feel like someone poking you in the abdomen with a needle, i get pains like that, i presume they are ov pains.
so you've been spying on us then hope we've all been lovely.

Missmibaby · 20/09/2005 14:06

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Bit of a moody day for me to join. I'm not normally so pessimistic. Just keep thinkning about that faint line. Will test again at the weekend. I've been following your thread for a couple of weeks now - so I feel I've got to know you all a little bit.
BTW what do ov pains feel like. I don't remember any pregnancy symptons until quite a few weeks in.

LOL

Diddle · 20/09/2005 14:00

hello all,
i would like to join your thread, i am ttc - well dp and i have decided that we will start ttc.
i had a stillborn dd 3 months ago born at 23 weeks they wouldnt even try to resusitate her because of the stupid 24 weeks viable life policy, it was my supposed due date yesterday and i am feeling so blue.
i would love to be pregnant again but know that i will be a complete nervous wreck til i reach way past 23 weeks. anyway i get the feeling many of you know how i feel, so i think ill hang out with you guys for a while if thats ok.

strike1 · 20/09/2005 13:32

Hi Diddle, I'm tired and down today, can't help thinking about how pg I would be now and wishing and hoping and regreting and longing, all those things I said I wouldn't do

Trying to be hopeful about this month but not sure I have the energy to get excited about it anymore, silly really.

Diddle · 20/09/2005 13:12

wishingchair, strike1 - haven't heardf rom you for ages, how are you both doing???

OP posts:
wishingchair · 20/09/2005 12:34

Just a quicky to say hi and welcome to missmibaby ... so sorry to hear about your miscarriage - it's so hard isn't it - but we're all going through the same thing so we can appreciate how you feel.

And wills - don't feel like you have to move - I love it when one of us gets pg, gives me hope! So even if you do move, promise you'll still check in?

I'm on cd8 today - dh gets back on Thursday, I go away on Monday so that gives us days 10-14 (if we manage early Monday morning bd-ing!) and then I'm back on day 18. My average cycle is 27 days so maybe this month isn't without all hope!

Wills · 20/09/2005 12:19

Sorry - Welcome Missmibaby. I had a faintline once and wanted to see more and went out and bought another test that was a very cheap one. It came up blank. So decided I hadn't. The cheap test was at fault not the faint line one. Finally went out and bought a more expensive one. Don't want to get your hopes up too much cos it hurts when you hit the ground again. But from what I've read a faint line is more significant than a blank.

In terms of your age I know exactly what you mean. I'm just behind at 36 and scared that I may not have enough time left. So I can definitely relate to that. Thinking of you {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}

Wills · 20/09/2005 12:14

read through everyone's stats last night. God its a sobering read! Whoa. Anyway getting over shock moving more and more into fear . trying like mad not to plan/hope etc. Am adamently trying to stop myself from calculating my due date (had to skip rapidly past that bit maddyd ). I'm now firmly back into the wonderful routine of shooting off to the toilets to check every sensation adament that thats it. Oh am back to being a breast basher! Glad they hurt so much - reminds me that everything's ok.

Reading the stats made me realise that I really ought to shift onto a preg after mc and for those still trying having me on here might not be fair. But...

a) You lot are great!
b) I'm not really ready to admit to this pregnancy yet. Its as though admiting to it will somehow make it not so. I can't even bare to click on the ante-natal clubs heading FFS! In most things I'm an incredibly rational person so why I have suddenly become Miss Superstitious 2005.

ROLL ON 14 WEEKS (Prob somewhere in mid Nov).

CH - did you see the bit on dyslexia?

strike1 · 20/09/2005 12:04

Watcha ladies! Welcome missmibaby, sorry to here about your loss, but as the others have said, you're in good company here.

Feel tired today as I couldn't sleep because of a strange ache down the left side of my pelvis last night. It felt like the descriptions of ov pain I've heard, but it's way to early in my cycle for that. I had to take a pain killer at 3 in the morning to eventually get some sleep. It still feels a little twingy today. I'm cd8 and I normally have long cycles so it couldn't be ov pain already could it?

auntynon · 20/09/2005 12:01

Hello girls

Big congrats to the 2 BFP, who will be next? Welcome to the 2 new girlies. I am on CD 24 today, last month was a 28 day cycle, if this is too will be testing soon. Should I wait a couple more days? Test I bought the other day said it can be used 4 days B4 AF due which will be Sun, maybe I will test tommorrow. Have no symptoms, not AF or Preg symptoms.
