Good luck on test, Brass. Long cycles are soooo frustrating.

LadyGoneGaga · 04/11/2010 23:07

Congratulations gettingonmyownnerves. Fab news!

Sorry about the mass AF attack.

I'm still in SWI phase, plenty of life in this bus yet I tell you. Think ovulation is today according to OPK yesterday. Just waiting for temp rise to confirm!

Brasso4 · 04/11/2010 22:15

Congratulations gettingonmynerves that is fab news!

I am still on the bus...no sign of AF, will be testing tomorrow morning but don't think that I am PG. If negative will assume AF will come along next week and will join the September bus. My cycle will be 42 days tomorrow Sad and 49 if my suspicions about ovulation are correct.

Good luck to all, I will post my test results in the morning.

jigglebum · 04/11/2010 21:20

Congrats gettingonmynerves - really pleased for you. Sorry for everyone else leaving this bus in droves.

There must be a few of us still hanging around to test - I did an early cheapy test today whilst packing, silly as I knew it would be BFN as too early but now makes me think have missed this bus too. Will find out for sure next week but will have no internet for a week (due to move and the inefficiency of BT) so will post a bit later on.

Moving house tomorrow so knackered after packing all day. Have been feeling under the weather for a couple of weeks with a cold (again) and a strange swelling by my collar bone (lymph node??) Again not good for this TTC lark. Seems as if DS, DH and I have been ill since September - rubbish.

kat2504 · 04/11/2010 21:05

Wow am so pleased to see a bfp in the dying days of this bus before it goes back to the bus depot. Congratulations gettingonmyownnerves and wishing you everything good and a healthy and happy nine months ahead.

Fingers crossed for the remaining passengers

MrsP81 · 04/11/2010 21:01

Congratulations gettingonmyownnerves!!!!

I am off this bus too I'm afraid. I was quite hopeful this month what with the sore boobs and I also had a nice temperature rise a couple of days ago but it obviously wasn't to be. Sad

Good luck to everybody else left on the bus.

Eskarina · 04/11/2010 18:13

X-posts gettingonmyownnerves CONGRATULATIONS!!

KLou111 · 04/11/2010 18:11

A HUUUUUGE CONGRATULATIONS gettingonmyownnerves so Envy but very excited for you!!

Could do with a few more of those on this bus.

I'm going to do a test on Sunday regardless, need to put my mind at ease and then can just get on with trying for the next month.

Eskarina · 04/11/2010 18:06

What an exodus! Is there anyone left on here? Sorry you're all going ladies - I hope the August bus is more successful for you! I suspect when I have to hop off this bus I should go straight to September (not passing go or collecting £200 Grin given the length of this cycle.

Klou sorry to hear about your bleeding. It's so confusing isn't it. Last "month" I had spotting every day from CD 21 to CD 33 then heavier bleeding which I took to be a period, which was then a weird one, and then this ultra long cycle.

I had a long long chat with my best friend last night. She got herself all worried about me and made me promise to get a Dr's apt if neither AF nor BFP have shown up by friday. She tried to get me to go last month over weird bleeding and I wish I had now, as at least it would be documented in the system then. I wish she lived closer, but she's 200 miles away in my home town, and has 2 tiny children so we don't get to speak much. I've lived in several places since leaving home, but have been in this town for over 3 years now but still don't feel like I know anyone very well. It seems so hard to have anything but the most superficial conversation. Ah well.

gettingonmyownnerves · 04/11/2010 18:03

Sorry to see that quite a few have left this bus - I really hope the August bus will be luckier for you.
Also sympathies to those with strange cycles - it's incredibly frustrating when you can't figure out what your body is doing.
Well, in the absence of my usual spotting from 8DPO and with ever increasing temperatures I took a chance and peed on an OPK this morning (CD27, didn't have any pregnancy tests) and it was positive.
I intended to be very good and wait until tomorrow to do a proper test but of course, took an early lunch and dashed to the pharmacy.
Got a BFP straight away!
After 9 months of ttc I can't quite believe it so am remaining cautiously excited!

KLou111 · 04/11/2010 16:50

Well, not 100% sure what's going on 'down there' with me.

The bleeding is a bit heavier today. Was bright red this morning, now a darker brown.
I know this is TMI but it doesn't smell like a normal period, just blood. I know that sounds totally repulsive that I have done that, but you know what I mean!

Think am convinced it's AF, but think will test in a few days before I hop over to that August bus x

GetDownYouWillFall · 04/11/2010 13:58

It's farewell from me too, see you on the August bus. Everybody off, we#'ve reached the terminus..... or not quite?

Wombat33 · 04/11/2010 10:49

Morning all, just a quick one to say I'm off to the August bus unfortunately. Good luck to all of you still on here!

jaggythistle · 04/11/2010 08:35

PS noone told me internet cheapies were sooo tempting! Don't think I had any last time I was TTC...

jaggythistle · 04/11/2010 08:34

Daft early tester here. Blush

BFN this morning.

However have done my temps the last few days too to practice for next month and so far they are going down every day, so not especially hopeful.

Might try to wait till saturday now instead of caving tomorrow morning! At teh moment FF thinks I am due AF mon/Tues, I'm sure it said Sun/Mon the other day so I must have confused it!

queenrollo · 04/11/2010 06:57

KLou I had two cycles where i ahd what you described and the first time I was convinced it was implantation, but i wasn't PG. The second time it happened i still got excited about it being implantation and again, it wasn't........but you know it could be. I'd test in a couple of days if i were you.....and i'd probably keep testing every couple of days after that if BFN until you either get a Smile or AF shows up.
Frustrating isn't it!
I really don't think i'm PG this cycle, I have no symptoms at all. Not even my usual pre AF ones and so I really have no idea what's going on. I'm either CD 35 or CD 26 depending on what this herbal stuff has done to my system......

mrsden · 03/11/2010 22:20

Still no AF for me but I feel like it is about to start. Sore boobs, feel very grumpy and a bit crampy Sad But I'm not going to give up all hope until she arrives!

It sounds like a few of us are in the same position, just waiting for AF to arrive. I was also thinking that there hadn't been many BFPs on this bus. Good luck to everyone waiting to test.

KLou111 · 03/11/2010 21:55

Well, now I'm REALLY confused.

Sorry if TMI, but just been to loo and have a really light reddy-pinky colour discharge.

Not due on til I think around the 8th going off my 1st post pill cycle which was 35 days.

Totally confused as to whether this is the start of AF or something else???

I have heavy period usually, so perhaps should wait to see what's there tomorrow.

Have just put it into FF and it's changed my cycle length to 29 days if this is the start of AF.

Has anyone ever had implantation bleeding? Just read about it (as a final hope) and it's saying on the net my symptoms, as if it is. I am 9 DPO according to FF, even though I think I am about 12.

Should I be testing if it goes tomorrow or perhaps the next day? Confused

sillybillymummy · 03/11/2010 21:49

I tested this morn - BFN , then AF turned up - so i am off to next bus, good luck everyone else

jigglebum · 03/11/2010 21:12

Should be packing!! Brasso I thought the same - definitely less BFPs on this thread so far than you would expect. Fingers crossed for everyone yet to test. Seems to be that quite a few of us have long/irregular/confusing cycles which can't help us.
GetDown have just read through a bit more of the thread - so sorry to hear about MC - sorry I missed that earlier. Hope you are ok.

KLou111 · 03/11/2010 21:04

Think we're all having a very confusing month!!

MrsP81 · 03/11/2010 20:24

Hey all

I was expecting AF today and she didn't arrive so tested but got a BFN. From the way I've felt today I think she is on her way soon, got my usual headache and a new spot on my chin. Also felt massively down in the dumps today. Sad

Brasso4 · 03/11/2010 18:52

Hello all

Sorry to hear about your mad cycles Eskarina, still no AF for me either. Puts my cycle length at 40days! Will perhaps test again tomorrow but knowing when I BD'd this month, if it is negative tomorrow then I think that is it over for the time being.

I have a suspicion that my cramps last Friday might have been OV pains, in which case my cycle will be around 50 days! Shock

Not many BFPs on this thread Sad good luck to all of you still testing....

GetDownYouWillFall · 03/11/2010 18:49

Esk your temps are still up so either:

  • you've got a long luteal phase (up to 16 days is normal)

OR

  • your AF is on it's way

OR

  • you are pregnant, and just not showing up on the tests yet

It does look like you ov'd so hopefully all is in good working order. Just give it a few more days.

KLou111 · 03/11/2010 18:15

Hi jiggle Sounds like you've got a lot to do!! It's always saddening when others have got what you want :( and want it NOW!
We only have one couple of our main circle of friends that currently has a small child though and he is a devil child, sweetness he is not!! Know lots of peeps with kids, but he's our main 'experience'. Although we have not been put off lol.

Well I've just counted how many tests I have, and I have 21 out of the 25 I bought the end of August, so looks like I won't be running short this weekend when it's 'D-Day'........or maybe B-Day.......here's hoping :)
