Hi all

Still here, now on day 45. No sign of AF, can't be bothered to test again until the weekend but think it will be negative. Just want to get AF now.

Still no AF in the last few hours

Hello ladies I'm still here CD38 now and still no sign of AF or BFP. I haven't tested since Saturday but I have come to the conclusion that it is now impossible for me to have a BFP this month anyway as must have ovulated late and DH was away from CD20 - 30. I have no idea whats going on but I wish AF would just hurry up so I can get trying again.

Still BFN here. Tested yesterday but didn't bother today as I was onvinced AF was about to appear. My last few cycles have been very regular.

So I'm slightly puzzled, but not got my hopes up much as I think AF may appear by stealth overnight or something.

I have to confess a BFN - I can't believe I gave in and tested when I know I'm really only 9 or 10dpo . I have bad cramps and backache so think it could be AF on the way. Annoyingly I've no idea when its due really could be tomorrow, could be Friday.

Oh its a short list now!! We only have 7 BFP's though compared to 14 on the June bus so we have some catching up to do ladies!!

[grr] forgot to take my temp this am (silly me) but I am 9dpo today. Can't test till Thursday when DH is back so hoping AF arrives by then if it is going to as this not knowing is very frustrating!! Don't feel PG at all though so not expecting anything - but still hoping .

Luce2006, sorry it wasn't your month, good luck with August (I have an August DS, tis a lovely month for a baby!).

goldmaple - sorry to hear your hopes fading, there's always a glimmer, though? Even when I come on I wonder what if - my mum had periods throughout pg with my sister, so I'll still squint at tests hopefully even when period's here!

I had dropped hopes, then got sore boobs, but I think that was only because I remembered that I got that last time, and its gone now. It took 6 mths with DD so I need to remember to chill out! I'm not temping as I think it made it worse for me last time TTC, I would literally cheat my temps and try again until it got 'better' for whatever stage I was in. Because obviously fooling my thermometer is the most important aspect of conception .

Sorry to hear your optimism has faded kayjayel. Mine has too. Temps dropped a bit, another BFN. Only symptom is sore boobs which always come a bit before AF. Trying not to be sad but really thought Third time would be a charm.

I did a 3 tests yesterday and all were positive! It hasn't quite sunk in yet as this is our first month of trying and didn't expect it to happen so quickly. Just keeping my fingers crossed for the next 3 months.

eskarina Glad you got AF too, and that its not as bad as they were pre-pill (at least i hope it still isn't). I have not enjoyed the cramps that come when I'm off the pill but I don't want to go on it again!!

Hi, am I too late to join? I'm going mad trying not to obsess about whether I'm pregnant, and AF probably due 9/10 Nov, but these last days are the hardest! My stats are: TTC DC3; cycle 1; UCL 25-29; due 9/10 Nov.

I have fairly bad cramps, and I'm trying not to over-interpret, but in my mind I'm convinced its a pregnancy sign. Despite the fact I often get cramps in non-trying months. Its my first month trying for DC3 and I swore I'd be less obsessed and would be 'too busy to think about it' - no chance!

Only DP knows, which is also driving me mad as both last times I could talk to friends (though I think it helps force me to ignore it), so I just needed to post and tell someone that I have a secret hope I might be pregnant! Feel free to tell me its madness, or encourage me in optimism!

No, but it does fit with when FF thinks I ovulated, esp if I have a long luteal phase. I do have some weird symptoms that apparently don't relate to ovulation though - bleeding, cramping, and shooting pains in alternating sides. It must be some kind of pre-ovulation symptoms.

Great news Eskarina - does it tie in with when you thought you ov'd?

Woohoo! AF has arrived! (now you don't hear that on a bus very often!) Hurrah Hurrah Hurrah! Not even feeling too bad - normally a late period would be agony but I've been out and about thismorning and hardly noticed it. Now I feel silly for telling my mum about my odd cycles this morning. I wanted to know what she remembered from when I was a teenager and very ill with it all. I played down the TTC bit but I'm sure she can put 2 and 2 together. How does one text one's mother to tell her one's period has arrived?

Now, if you have to start using a CBFM from CD1 then do I have to wait a whole extra cycle before getting one? Think I'll buy one from ebay anyway.

Fingers crossed for everyone else on the bus, Brasso I hope you work out what's going on soon too. I don't know whether to jump on the August bus or to wait for September to drive along - a normal cycle would be august, another 6-weeker would be Sept. I think I'll join August as I quite fancy a summer baby
