Ha ha Knitter - if you're anything like me I'd be better off putting my money on you poas every day between now and the weekend Wink!

Cep I'm afraid I haven't but good luck! It's agony but all you can do is wait and keep pos every other day and see if the line gets more consistent. The advice that's usually trotted out on here is there it's much less likely to get a false negative than a false positive. I don't know whether that's true but I'll keep everything croossed for you.

KnitterNotTwitter · 12/10/2010 18:06

Hey wonderful ladies

I've just had a quick read back up the thread and have been chuckling to see my 3x per night strategy has had a mention :-) FWIW we only managed 2x per night this month, and that stopped a couple of days after I ovulated (think DH needed a rest - well he was 40 this year the poor old thing :) )

I feel wildly pregnant at the moment but suspect it's just wishful thinking - even did a test this afternoon at 6dpo... obviously not even a flicker of a second line but I'm not despondent because by testing SOOO early I have a million reasons why there wouldn't be a second line... does that make sense!!

Anyway I've told myself that I'm not allowed to test again until the weekend - who wants to put money on whether I'll make it?

cep · 12/10/2010 15:44

ok so i've tried 4 cheapy internet test with negative results, and i was all intent on waiting another week but caved and took a tesco's own test. Well a faint line appeared but am so unsure as to whether to believe it or not. the instructions say that they do not have to match. has anyone else used these?

Wombat33 · 12/10/2010 15:03

Hello all. AF is on her way out here so we're about to enter the SFF stage Grin. I'm temping too, with a Boots BBT themometer. My charts seem to vary wildly though month on month so heaven only knows what's going to happen this month. So far they plunged to glacial levels for days 2-4 and are now steadily climbing... Hmm

GetDownYouWillFall · 12/10/2010 12:50

thanks for the link to that site LadyGoneGaga - very interesting indeed.

LadyGoneGaga · 12/10/2010 10:39

I found this site quite interesting to go through the early stages. Don't think they implant until 6 or 7dpo at earliest as have to "hatch" first. I don't think I really felt anything until more like the time I was due when I felt quite crampy.

GetDownYouWillFall · 12/10/2010 09:28

Sorry to hear about your friend queenrollo Sad

eskarina I find the 2 decimal place ones much better ? I find personally there is quite a bit of difference between say, 36.61 and 36.69 (maybe I am just really sad tho and been charting too long Blush !!) Your one decimal place thermometer would obviously just give you 36.6.

Hope your ebay stuff arrives soon. I bought a pack of clearblue OPKs this month for the first time but had to get them in Boots because I didn?t want to get them online and have to wait for them to arrive! £21 for 7 Shock. As it happened I had missed ov. anyway. Oh well, I only used 2, so still have 5 for next month.

I am getting really impatient ladies ? 6 DPO. When do you think you would feel implantation, if it is going to happen? Do you always feel it do you think?

When I got pregnant with DD I felt very strong stabbing pains in the night some days after ov. So much so I had to get up and take paracetamol. Looking back it was definitely implantation pains( though there was no blood), but I can?t remember how many DPO I was!

Haven?t had any such pains and don?t really have any symptoms at all (except I keep imagining symptoms) I know it is too early though?..

queenrollo · 12/10/2010 09:20

morning all.

negative test here. Breast tenderness has gone now too. So it would seem this herbal stuff is working it's magicSmile Herbalist has said my monthly migraines should disappear when my cycle settles down, and i'll be very glad if that is the case!

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 22:15

Well that was an expensive trip to ebay. A new BBT thermometer reading to 2 decimal places, and a pack of OPK's are on their way to help with the madness.

Night all

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 22:06

LadyGG no, no EWCM or any real CM of any kind. I thought I had side pains a few days ago, but that came to nothing.
queenrollo sorry to hear about your friend too Sad

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 22:01

Esk I reckon you've not ovved yet. Are you getting any EWCM?

Hi cep welcome to board. Hope you work out what bleed is. UCL= Usual cycle length; AF is period; FF is Fetrility Friend, a charting website. Sorry, is like another language!

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 22:00

Hi cep and welcome aboard. Ask if there are any specific bits of posts you don't understand - I'm just getting to grips with all these acronyms myself!

Thanks GetDown, does the extra .01 make such a difference then? I just bought the cheapest BBT thermometer on ebay! I think I'm going to have to be more specific about what time I take my temp - is it exactly the same time every day? What if you wake up early?? or late?
The july chart is definitely me, and I remember having other ov symptoms that month, after june being a mega stressful month work wise with a 36 day cycle to boot.

queenrollo · 11/10/2010 21:54

welcome cep

ask away if there's anything you need to know!

I've heard today that a friend has had an MC Sad so feeling melancholy here.

cep · 11/10/2010 21:32

Hi i'd like to jump on board if poss. Am hoping to get pregnant with #2, just had a vey strange bleed though with negative tests, am waiting another week to try again, so unsure if i've jumped on a stop to late yet. (fngers crossed) i have no stats and to be honest have no idea what any of them mean. i haven't been to dr's yet although been off pill since dec, and had no problems with #1. Am new on here and some posts look like a foreign language.

GetDownYouWillFall · 11/10/2010 21:31

Hi Eskarina sorry to hear about your friend Sad hope she's ok...

The July chart is yours, right? That looks perfect to me, you definitely ov'd that cycle

your current chart - looks like you haven't ov'd yet, so it could be any day now Smile

The big dip - did you take it early that day?

Looks like your thermometer is only accurate to 1 decimal point, you really need one accurate to 2 decimal points.

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 21:16

Esk's chart

Can anyone else make any more sense of it than FF? I shall hold tight onto the idea that maybe I have vv small temp rises, but I've recognised ovulation myself in other months (before I started charting) and know I get bloated and sore boobs, so am fairly sure I didn't last month and haven't (yet) this month. I also had a very weird bleeding pattern last month, so really not sure what to make of it.

But to put it into perspective, I've just had a text from a friend who is early pg with her 2nd, having had a mc at ~8 weeks in July to say that she's bleeding again, having scan tomorrow, outlook not good. Sad

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 18:50

Go to the left Sharing/Home page set up. There will be a link there. At the bottom you can select which charts to publish and also select the auto update button then it will just update every time you enter data. Let us know if you are struggling!

FF does keep changing it's mind a lot though. Odd error message to get though Confused

GetDownYouWillFall · 11/10/2010 18:46

Oh sorry to hear that eskarina don't panic though, it can sometimes take a while to pick up ov. It does it in retrospect, sometimes 6 days after it actually happened

Also it might be you have a very slow rise in temp. That can happen.

On FF go to "sharing" then Home Page Setup, you can add your cycles one by one, and you get a web link to your "home page" at the top.

Copy the link here, we will have a look for you xxx

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 18:15

Hi all,

It seems I read FF wrong. Now it thinks I haven't ovulated yet.
I don't think I did at all last month Sad. As I was entering the data I kept getting depressing messages telling me that it can't interpret my data and could I please check I've entered it right. I know I have.

How do I set up a pretty page like getdown and Lady so I can share them?

GetDownYouWillFall · 11/10/2010 13:17

Hi Luce2006 my cycles are all over the place too really, they seem to be getting shorter.

Were about 44 days at the beginning of the year, last cycle was 27 days!

Do you know what CD you are on at the moment?

I have similar problem to you regarding sleep - have a toddler who can get me up in the night, but as Lady has said, you only really need 3 hours before you take your temp. I have mine messed up by insomnia occasionally. Sometimes I just scrub the reading if I've had a very bad night, it doesn't usually mess up the chart if you miss out the odd day.

Luce2006 · 11/10/2010 11:54

LadyGoneGaga thanks for that!!! I know, I havne't put myself on the list yet because I don't know when I'm expecting AF for Confused my periods have been all over since January!!! anything between 20 and 37 days...

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 11:51

you only need 3 hours, Luce. And my DS is rubbish sleeper so i often get less so my temps are generlly a bit mountainous. But you can still recog the pattern generally.

I don't think you put yourself on the list though!

good morning girls!! Well, I'm finally joining the July OFFICIALLY now! after spotting for 12 hours, I had 24 hours of quite intense bleeding and went back to spotting for the past 2 days.
My temp are a bit weird... can I ask you girls when you tend to take them? My problem is that DS tends to wake up at least once per night so I NEVER get 8 hours of sleep in one go...for example last night I went to bed at midnight only for ds to wake up at 2.55 and then again at 3.30 so I think I went back to sleep at around 3.45 and then ,my alarm went off at 7 as usual...I took the temp at 7 but was that enough sleep to get a temp????just a bit more than 3 hours sleep

GetDownYouWillFall · 11/10/2010 09:26

Morning LadyGoneGaga sorry to see your MC chart Sad Here's hoping for this month for you.

Your stats look promising!!

Do you think mine are neat?

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 09:10

Morning. Mine are [[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fee7f
here]], temps all over the place since the mc but cross hairs still in. Also my waking up time is ridiculously non-consistent due to non-sleeping toddler!

Yours look very neat getdown!
