Chocoflakes · 18/10/2010 11:33

Hi all,
Im sorry #brassica#, think i'm in a similar boat, had a BFP on Friday, then Sunday on a digital- BFN, AF due Thurs so it's gonna be a long week, even though I have loads of symptons.
Good luck tomorrow #Gdywf#

GetDownYouWillFall · 18/10/2010 10:49

When are you going to test Mylittlebubble

I am testing tomorrow!

Mylittlebubble · 18/10/2010 10:45

Hello ladies
I am starting to get obesessed with sympton spotting!

  • Very tender Boobs
  • Cried at absolutely nothing
  • Very irritated by DH
  • feeling sick whilst in the bath or anything near my neck

Probably just coming down with something Wink this week is going to be looooong!

GetDownYouWillFall · 18/10/2010 10:26

Hi all!

inbetweener UCL - is Usual Cycle Length

queenrollo Sad for you, but it does sound the sensible option. I have had to wait to TTC for nearly a year because of circumstances - I think it is better to wait until you are in a strong place both emotionally and physically. As you know, pregnancy does take its toll.

Hi lady strange about your temps still being high, I find lack of sleep or if I am a bit ill can make my temps unusually high. Hopefully they will settle down within the next few days.

I am biting my fingernails as I'm going to do a test tomorrow! Slept well last night and took temp early but it was 37.0!! Am hoping, hoping, hoping. When I got pregnant with DD my temps went very high in the early days....

inbetweener · 18/10/2010 10:15

Hello all,

I am also joining you. I had a BFP but I lost it last monday Sad. Sooo gutted but really ready to try again, and not time like the present !

So I am ttc#3 cycle 3 CD10.

I dont know what UCL means lol ? No wonder Im no good at this !!

queenrollo · 18/10/2010 09:58

i might be just lurking at the back of the bus for a while. Have realised this morning that life is just far too stressful right now and adding a pregnancy into the mix is not a good idea. Feel very Sad but I am just absolutely worn out physically and emotionally at the moment.
Some of this stress (building work) will be out of the way by the end of the month but we have two (elderly) dogs which are causing me lots of trouble and disturbed sleep right now.

DP not happy, as he really wants to be a daddy.....but i've been pregnant before, and i know what my limitations could be in the early days (and later on too, i had SPD) so i need to think carefully about how much i put on my plate.

LadyGoneGaga · 18/10/2010 07:57

Morning Brassica and Wantone and all the rest of the ladies! Sorry to hear about your chemical, Brassica. AF still in full flow here but temps still up which is slightly unsettling. Sure they'll fall soon.

MrsP81 · 18/10/2010 07:13

Hi everyone, hope you all had lovely weekends. Welcome to all the newcomers.

Not got much to say really just that this week is SWI week, hooray! Grin

Eskarina · 17/10/2010 17:50

Hi Wantonenow and Brassica welcome aboard. Brassica, so sorry you're here, but lovely to see you (IYSWIM). CD1 sounds promising...

Nothing else to say really. I've had a nice afternoon planting pansies in the sun. Hope everyone else has enjoyed their weekend.

BrassicaBabe · 17/10/2010 16:22

Hi

Can I jump aboard? I graduated from the June bus. But BFP turned into BFN last week. (Why does it take soooo long to go back to BFN?!) And now AF has started. So here we go again... Grin

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd join you all. I am 28, hubby is 32 and we want to start TTC this month. I came off the pill in December when I was an egg donor for my sister. I have been off the pill since then. Cycles took a while to get back to normal after the egg donation but are now 27-31 days. Am now on CD 7, ovulating around 25th October and AF due on 8th Nov. Am going to go for acupuncture and a nice massage this week as need to de-stress a bit!

This is my first time ever on MN (or any online forum actually!) so am a bit new to all this.

Good luck to everyone!

Wantonenow TTC#1 cycle 1 UCL 27-31 AF due 8 Nov

Eskarina · 17/10/2010 09:23

Morning all, welcome emmylou and Terrys

Well, I've had two days of increased temps (36.50 rather than the usual 35.9) and cramps and a small bleed on thurs, so I'm hopeful that I have ovulated at last. Plus even the faint line has disappeared from my OPK so perhaps I wasn't too far wrong with those afterall. The good news in any case is that I started with small amounts of bleeding on CD20 last month and it didn't stop spotting until CD34 when AF arrived, and that's not happening so far this month.

I've also been a bit snappy with DH this week Sad We went into London and met his mum yesterday and I felt like they were both needling me until I snapped. Nothing major, and anyone who didn't know me wouldn't have noticed, but DH did, and I'm sure his mum did too.

GetDownYouWillFall · 17/10/2010 08:12

Hi ladies, how are we all today?

I am driving myself mental waiting to test. I feel a bit sick today but I'm sure that's probably because I didn't sleep too well. Arrrrgh, this is so hard!

Realised I forgot to put our graduate on the list! Sorry cep!

Morning. I can feel the excitment raising on this thread as we approach POAS days.
So whose due up next? Alien06?

Getdown your symptons sounds positive Smile

My best friend got a BFP yesterday after using OP sticks, so excited for her. Hopefully I'll be sharing the good news with her next week.

I cried today for absolutely no reason at all in front of all my friends!! First sympton spot although it might just be my hormones ready for AF although haven't done that before!!

Eskarina · 15/10/2010 21:31

Thanks Getdown I'm feeling a lot better now, and am having a quiet evening with a DVD and a large mug of tea - seems we think the same way on that subject Grin I've just finished the jumper I've been knitting so have a decent sense of self satisfaction to boot.

GetDownYouWillFall · 15/10/2010 19:30

oh dear eskarina hope you are feeling a bit better now, get a good hearty dinner down you!

That's easily done about the OPKs - I probably would have done the same, had I not got the clearblue ones that are either smiley face or no smiley face. They're too expensive to use every time though.

Don;t worry, now you know how to read them, I'm sure you'll ov. soon. No idea really about the faintness of the line and then less faint, but I did read somewhere that you shouldn;t take it first thing in the morning as it takes a while to show up in your urine as the day progresses, I think after 2pm was recommended.

Also you should test at the same time every day and ideally not have peed for 4 hrs beforehand so it's nice and concentrated (tricky to hold on for that long though - esp if you are an avid tea drinker like me!)

Luce2006 · 15/10/2010 19:00

evening girls!
Went for my first sesison of Aucupunture this afternoon...and i am SCARED OF NEEDLES!!!!!!!!lol Was an interesting experience...the Aucupunturist was lovely and talke me through the first part of the session and then left me on my own full of needles in my feet, arms and tummy for 25 minutes!!!I keep checking that she didn't leave any in!!!!LOL Feel very tired and dizzy...quite expensive at £49 per session but still cheaper than the £280 I got asked by the private Gyneacologist for the monitoring ( and he reckoned I needed at least 5 scans...)only going to do it till the appointment on the 18th of November with the Consultant...hopefully by then my cycles will be back to normal with ovulation at normal times!
