spotting slightly

I am gutted. Sad

Scottygirl10 · 21/10/2010 10:34

Hmmm veiny boobs? Like that before or yet more phantom symptom spotting?!! Anyone else had this with previous pregnancies? Also some light cramping, not imagining that tho ;)

goingforfour · 21/10/2010 09:03

Good Morning everyone!

Thank you for your welcome messages and welcome to those who have got on since I did.

I think I am now 9DPO and trying not to symptom spot but feeling a bit pre-menstrual so no idea what that means!

I have 3DD (age 5,3 and 3) and a dog!. Having twins is really great but prob would prefer just one this time around.

Obviously hoping for BFP(will try and not test until next wed) but this is first cycle so trying not to get hopes up but it is so hard not to.

Taking youngest 2 for pre-school injections this afternoon- I haven't warned them yet as I think then I wouldn't be able to get them in the car without kicking and screaming. When I took my eldest DD she kicked the nurse!

Eskarina · 20/10/2010 22:36

Hi emsiedoodle welcome on board.

Nothing much to report here. Think I'm on the 2ww, symptom spotting away. Today's favourite has been crampy feelings, but I know perfectly well that they're a result of IBS, which I've had for a couple of years now. Why this month do they mean I must be pg??
Oh, and I've got a sore neck. Classic symptom of pg that one right?? [hopeful face]

emsiedoodle · 20/10/2010 20:22

Hi everyone,

Can I hop on board? This is my first trip on the bus so hoping it will be a short journey.

I believe my stats are

TTC#2 Cycle 1 UCL 30-35 AF due 30th Oct ish

Good luck all x

MrsP81 · 20/10/2010 18:54

Welcome goingforfour,nelly and KLou!

Thank you for the lemsip Teds, it seems to have done the trick and I don?t feel as bad today. I?m the same as you in that we waited to ttc for quite a few reasons, knowing that it was unlikely I?d fall pg straight away when we started but still being disappointed when I didn?t.

Got my fingers crossed for you lovely ladies at the front of the bus about to test!

gettingonmyownnerves · 20/10/2010 18:39

Huge congratulations to GetDown!
Sorry that AF has arrived, Knitter but glad you are staying with this bus! My cycle has also gone a bit haywire recently - were always around 31 days but have been getting steadily shorter and last cycle was 25 days. Not sure if it's significant or not.
queenrollo sounds like you are having a very stressful time at the moment. (maybe you could take a break from 'trying' as such and just not do anything to prevent?) Although, it can be very hard to put it out of your head when you think there's even the slightest chance you could be pregnant.
Take care, whatever you decide.
still keeping fingers crossed for fled and greeneyes - I get several days of spotting before af too but think there is still hope if af hasn't actually arrived (I know some women have spotting for the first few weeks of pregnancy).
Sympathies jigglebum, can be hard to be happy for others. I'm ok with first pregnancies but very Envy of second or third - doesn't make me like myself very much though.
I think we started trying around the same time and I plan to go the gp if I'm not successful this month. Not panicking yet but at 36 I don't want to waste any time.

Congrats on BFPs to the first two. Good luck to those of you nearing testing and fingers crossed for everyone else.

Yet another friends has just announced she's pregnant - seems I have exceptionally fertile friends in RL. Finding the longer TTC goes on the harder it is to act pleased for other people. How long do people wait before asking about fertility issues at the doctor?- we were going to wait until the new year, as that would be a year but beginning to think the sooner the better.

However, with a grumphy DH and a toddler who is very hard work at the moment I sometimes wonder if we would cope anyway! But in the long term I know we would love 2.

Greeneyesbigbottom · 20/10/2010 16:48

Hi everyone,

Still keeping my fingers crossed for you all. Dont lose hope yet fled

I'm starting to lose hope. Today is supposed to be CD23. I always struggle with CD1 as I spot before AF arrives but from memory this month I counted CD 1 as the first day of proper bleeding.

I had Day 21 blood test 2 days ago so I will be interested to see what the results are because TMI went to the loo earlier and when I wiped there was a 20p size of red blood, then nothing since. I thought I was feeling a few cramps too but been standing a lot today which always gives me back ache.

I think maybe the spotting will start tomorrow CD24, then on and off till CD27 when AF will arrive. I'm quite regular CD27/28 but always spotting before.

I have appt at clinic in December to get results of Day 3 and Day 21 bloods and DH sperm sample and an so scared about it.

And to top things off a magpie has just landed outside the window. aaaargh Sad

Ive had a few reflexology sessions which I was hoping would help but its another one of those months. WHY??????????????

fledtoscotland · 20/10/2010 13:46

Afternoon all. Very premenstral today :( bitten DHs head off for breathing

Hello all

Can I join you on this very exciting bus journey??

Prob be graduating to the August bus and beyond knowing my luck!!

Here's a bit about me.

Married to a lovely man who I've been with 13 years, am 30 (31 Nov 1st yikes Shock) Came off pill August 25th, and been TTC #1 since then!!

Had my 1st proper AF start (since withdrawel bleed) on 5th October so can't really say my UCL as been on the pill for 13 years. Was 35 day cycle between withdrawel and 1st proper AF.

If we go off so far, my stats are
TTC#1 Cycle 2 UCL ? AF due 8 Nov (if 35 days)

Really excited about this new step in our lives. Haven't told anyone that we're trying as don't want the 'are you pregnant yet?' questions all the time!!

However, my hubby and the male half of our best friends were out at the end of August and they told each other that we both were trying soon!! And they say us women gossip!!! Bit of a coincidence, so at least I kinda have someone to talk to and go through this with. She came off the pill a couple off weeks ago, so be nice if we have kids together :)

Done a couple of tests, all BFN. Struggling with knowing when am ovulating as FF says 18-22 Oct and Mumsnet says 22-26th Oct. But obviously BD-ing as much as humanly possible so not really that concerned as it should catch if it is going to!

So nice to read that a couple of you have had BFP's, hope it's my turn soon (very selfish I know Wink but I know you're all thinking the same).

Good luck all xxxxx

NervousNelly · 20/10/2010 12:05

Is my ticket transferable from July? I'd like to travel with you now please !

NervousNelly TTC#1, cycle 3, UCL 27, CD1

KnitterNotTwitter · 20/10/2010 08:55

Thanks for all the messages. I've rationalised my behaviour this month as being linked to the fact that my ectopic pregnancy would be due now so I was extra obsessive about getting pg - every tweak, twinge and spot was given unnecessary significance.... Sigh.... Also the bad news is that I'm away for the weekend that I'm due to ovulate next so it doesn't bode well for this month... Oh Well...

Just putting our nice new people forfour and Scotty in date order in the stats...Welcome...

Aww mylittlebubble there's still time for a BFP, enjoy your days away.

knitter sorry for AF.

queen I understand what you mean about the dogs being a big responsibility, I have a Golden Retriever and he's gorgeous, I hate to think of him going, I still cry sometimes about my dog I grew up with.

Well AF came in full swing this morning, had a little warning last night it was coming. I am so sure that I was pg for at least a week, as my body was so different, and the last 2 days it just felt 'empty' IYKWIM?.
Hey ho, cycle is 28 days on the dot, which is good.

Have a good day everyone

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/10/2010 07:41

Yay - fab news getdown and cep !!

Sorry AF got you knitter - I'm another one whose cycles are all over the place since mc, last month I too had an unusually short cycle (26 rather than 29 days with spotting from day 24). Let's hope we both settle back to normal soon! x

Mylittlebubble · 20/10/2010 06:27

I am going away today until Sunday so thought I would test this morning, you know just in case!!!

Well it was a negative! My Dh is hoping we have done it this month otherwise he has 'just married a grumpy women who he irritates most of the time'!!! (His words)

So I will be back Sunday with good news I hope Hmm

queenrollo · 19/10/2010 22:32

Thanks all for kind words about the dogs.....
They are DP's and he's had them ten years but we've only been together 3. They have seen me through some very tough times though and I will miss them both, it's just that before i met DP i'd decided no more dogs as i just find the responsibilty a bit too much.
The older one has defied medical knowledge, and should have been gone last Sept. She has an aggressive cancer amongst other things.....now though she has slowed down considerably in the last few weeks and has big tumours which grew suddenly and the vet has said he can do no more. It's just a waiting game now Sad
I've had a lovely evening at a friend's house.....home now and putting off going to bed as it's not the same when DP is away. He'll be back tomorrow night so there will be some practice SWI going on Blush Grin as I have no symptoms of OV and with being on this herbal stuff I have no idea when i should expect it to happen.

knitter sorry to hear AF got you......

Brasso4 · 19/10/2010 21:44

Congratulations, GetDown that is great news. No symptoms here, no idea if I have OV'd. I do have a random crack on my nipple - no problems whilst BF but just cracked now!! Could be something but they are not sore like I was with DD. I am also very grumpy.. could be PMT.

Might test at the weekend if no sign of AF but am not confident about it really, my cycles before being PG were longer than 28 days.

anyway, I don't feel premenstral here today Confused and boobs feel weird (nipples tight and generally a little perkier than normal - BFing DS2 for 15months has ensured everything goes south now Blush - sorry for TMI scottygirl10) am getting random nausea flushes which only last about 10mins a time but its definitly nausea. DH and DS2 have the cold so suspect its that rather than being up the duff.
