Massive hugs queenrollo - my dogs are my babies as well as my DC.

MorayRose · 22/10/2010 12:08

Afternoon ladies,

Still no sign so I am testing this evening - trying not to get too excited.

So sorry Queenrollo. Dogs really do become such a big part of your family. Try to have a peaceful weekend.

Sounding good Emmylou.

LadyGoneGaga · 22/10/2010 11:14

Oh Queenrollo, it's awful when a much loved pet dies. They really do feel like one of the family. I was heartbroken when my childhood dog died when I was at uni Sad

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 11:13

So sorry queenrollo :(
14 years is a long time, is part of the family. We've had our dog 8 years, would be gutted if anything happened to him, even if he is a little shit.
She had a good life, you've just got remember that she's not suffering. Thinking of you x

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 11:10

LMAO!!!!

Not gone looking for it, that may be a job for today. Will have to hubby away from there til later Wink

queenrollo · 22/10/2010 11:08

Sad held our beautiful 14 year old dog in my arms yesterday afternoon while the vet put her to sleep. I've cried so much i look like i've been punched in the face.
My dad came round this morning and helped us put her to rest in the garden. Other dog is moping.
This is awful, i have never had to do anything so heart-wrenching in my whole life.

And i think i OV'd yesterday so unlikely i'll be getting PG this cycle because as you can probably understand it's not top of our list right now.

LadyGoneGaga · 22/10/2010 11:01

It might just take your body a little while for your hormones to settle after being on the pill for a while. Have you gone, ahem, looking for it? I have to have a bit of a rummage sometimes. Try sort of squeezing cervix together between two fingers. Although it is a bit hard to distinguish from the sperm Grin although there are ways... I do charting so obsessed with temps and looking for the stuff.

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 10:54

LadyGoneGaga sounds promising, thought I may be too late for OV, but if that's the case.....
It's all confusing regarding the EWCM as I used to have it when I was on the pill, but since I came off at the end of August, I haven't. What does that mean I wonder?

LadyGoneGaga · 22/10/2010 10:46

Congrats Emmylou! Hope you got a sticky one this time!

Greeneyes early RTD sucks. Do you get another go this bus? Have a big glass of wine.

Klou sounds like could be ov. I normally ov around day 21 or so. Have you got EWCM going on?

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 10:37

OMG Emmylou!!! Sounds promising, good luck tomorrow with the next test. Aren't the internet cheapies a godsend??? Means we can all test away :)

Well, I've still got a dull ache in my right side of my belly so hopefully something good is going on Hmm

Greeneyes I'm with you there, lets just all chip in and buy Threshers!!! Sorry AF has arrived though x

Greeneyesbigbottom · 22/10/2010 09:29

AF has arrived. Day bloody 26!!!??? Angry My cycles are getting shorter. Sure I ov'd on CD16 aswell. aaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I need chocolate, wine and cheese in large quantities.

Hows everyone doing today?

hey one and all!

No full on period, just a slight spotting for 1 day. I did a test this morning-dont ask why, it was just there and I thought, well you never know! BFN. Worried now, if I didn't have a proper period, does that mean i'm not ov'ing?

Fingers crossed rossie
Moray best of luck

KLou111 · 21/10/2010 20:21

moray how have you had the willpower?????

I am DYING to test!! CD1 on 5th Oct but been told am a little optimistic to be testing yet.

Had cramp in right hand side of belly tonight. Am on CD17 so can't possibly be ovulation......could it?

Should be plenty of sperm available for little eggy if so :)

What I don't understand is if the egg is there, and so is the sperm, what takes everyone so long to fertilise? I know everyone is different, but surely nature would be to fertilise??

Confused.com!!

Good luck with those waiting to test xxxxx

littlemisslozza · 21/10/2010 20:10

Can I jump on too?

TTC #3 Cycle 2 UCL 28-30 (so AF due around 1st-3rd NOv I think).

rosieposey · 21/10/2010 19:57

Hi girls :)

I havent posted in a while because i was a bit :( over last months CP, on the two week wait now though :) i see you have put our due af dates on the stats - what a great idea!

Just want to say hello to everyone who has joined since i did and congratulations to the two lucky BFP's! Thats great that we have two already - come on morayrose Grin its looking very positive (s'cuse the pun)

The cp threw out my ovualtion though i think so i ended up ov'ing on day 20 which makes me due AF on Nov 1st - wont be testing till Halloween (im off out that night and will be drinking) but i think 13 dpo is late enough to test, im not making the same mistake as last month and testing at 8dpo, i might have got a faint positive but it didnt stick and id rather not know this time. Ill adjust my stats for the 1st of Nov (even though will test the day before).

MorayRose · 21/10/2010 17:19

Thanks everyone.

Teds I guess I just don't want it to be negative.

I'll let you know!

Good luck to everyone else testing!

Teds77 · 21/10/2010 17:15

Welcome Moray you have pretty impressive will power to be 3 days late without testing! Though maybe I've lost a little perspective Blush

scottygirl don't be Sad veiny boobs are a sign as goldmaple says.

goldmaple · 21/10/2010 14:51

moray def do a test!! (and welcome [hgrin] )

greeneyes hope it is just some pre-BFP spotting!!

scottygirl veiny boobs are a sign!! (the skin thins out or something) fingers crossed for you!

Good luck to everyone testing! About to start SWIing finally. first two weeks are really boring!!

KLou111 · 21/10/2010 14:32

TEST TEST TEST!!!

Scottygirl10 · 21/10/2010 13:26

Think ur prob right teds :( and welcome moray! Do a test!!! Your 3 days late so might show up by now ;) x

MorayRose · 21/10/2010 13:08

New to this? hello everyone!

After reading this board for the past 3 weeks I?ve finally plucked up the courage to post!

A wee bit about me? I?m 30 next week, my husband and I are TTC#1, this is our first month.

I?m now three days late, a few period like pains but not my normal. I?m usually pretty regular but I?m not wanting to get my hopes up just yet.

Teds77 · 21/10/2010 12:23

Boo Sad hope it's just spotting not AF Greeneyes

Scottygirl was convinced my boobs were really veiny last month so was depressed to not just get a BFN but to realise I must just have veiny boobs! Angry

Choco sorry to hear that AF did arrive for you in the end. Hope you are going to have another go on the July bus.

Plus welcome to all the newbies. We are a very packed bus now!

Think I'm 8dpo and currently have absolutely no symptom. Grr.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/10/2010 12:02

Hope it doesn't turn into full period Greeneyes, many do spot around this time when pg. Will you get another go on this bus if it does turn into AF? Come and sit with me being naughty and throwing blown up johnnies around at the back x
