IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 27/09/2010 08:38

Morning all

sunchild - sorry she got you too Sad. It is very disheartening when you feel like you've really pulled out all the stops isn't it? Hopefully things will work out this month x

mummyabroad I can't believe you're still waiting for AF/BFP, that must be so stressful! Hope one of them arrives before too long - sometimes your body can be so cruel to you!

As for me - well I finally got a CBFM peak yesterday, so yay for that as it is a huge relief to be ovulating again, but I'm slightly concerned that it prob means I'm ov-ing today (day 18) with only 10 days left to go. I know that's not necessarily too short but would really like a bit longer - anyway have been taking a general vit b complex but think I'm going to swap that for a higher dose straight b6 in a desperate attempt to squeeze a few extra days out of the luteal phase (it is b6 I want isn't it?).

nickstermum · 27/09/2010 07:37

Arsing Fucker?

Dont worry silly im not too up with it either. MA sorry the old bitch hasnt turned up yet/or that ever longed for BFP
I hope you get either one very soon.

Sunnny I too got knocked up with 1 strike 2nd month of trying with my DS then the last time it look 4 months of getting it right, but only again with 1 strike. I didnt use OPKs and have only ever relied on EWCM and twitchiness. If i had temped it would have taken less am sure.

right, just gotta sort out recycling, get DS up and into nursery then off to a meeting in birmingham... see you all later xx

MummyAbroad · 27/09/2010 02:21

sorry, hello to lolly too, dont we grow in number fast!

MummyAbroad · 27/09/2010 02:20

Hello,

Welcome to brownb, lalooney, teacake sorry you all find yourselves here, hope its a quick road to recovery and BFP's for you allSmile

Not been on much as have just been feeling so mental that I cant even think of fresh things to moan aboutConfused

I had no idea the first 2ww would be this bad, feel like I have had my soul yanked out bunged in a washing machine, put through a mangler and then chucked off a cliff! Its exhausting, terrifying, confusing and humblingSadAngryConfused and worst of all, not bloody over!

FF has been saying I should test for pregnancy or get the tampons out for days now, once again it says I might get AF tomorrow which would make everything make sense and mean the end of one very fucking long mc.

Sorry I have missed a lot of your news, will read back and catch up with you all later.

Time difference means you will all read this tomorrow morning, so have breakfast on me.Smile

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

getawiggleon · 26/09/2010 23:41

Silly It's 'Aunt Flo' as far as I know.

Sillyness · 26/09/2010 23:34

dachs sorry about AF. (think of the red wine you can have for the next week at least though!) Grin

laloony thinking of you, you brave lady!

I was on here 2 nights ago writing a long message about how i haven't been too chatty and apologising for just showing up and moaning! anyway, damn computer caught a virus and wouldn't let me post it!...so i huffed until tonight when DH restored it!

(asks shamefaced - what does AF actually stand for? i mean, i know what it is and have been refering to it in my posts, but AF???? - retreats under table to blush quietly)

getawiggleon · 26/09/2010 23:29

Velvet I've never had a positive opk either (had ewcm and ff recorded ovulation a couple of weekends ago but opks all negative) If I'd relied just on OPKs alone I would prob have missed my window of opportunity as kept thinking I was in fertile patch only to get BFNs from them (and consequently getting quite disheartened and not swi as a result!)

From what I can gather, the LH surge can be quite short-lived and a negative opk in the morning can turn into a positive in the evening. (Apparently lunchtime is best time to test though)

If you get a stash of cheapies you can widdle to your heart's content. I've got a load from Amazon and now have a pile of plastic cups next to the loo too (much to DH's horror) TBH I don't hold much confidence in them, I think i prefer temping - athough they do allow you to satisfy those POAS urges!

Sunchild Big hugs (and another glass of wine) It will happen again x

Teacake Hope all goes ok tomorrow

nickstermum · 26/09/2010 22:38

velvet i am a bit of a virgin with them too, i find it hard to interpret whether they are the same or darker (i used tesco) and i find myself making up the answer i want to hear!!! Hopefrully an experienced POAS'er can tell you x Hoping you managed to SWI on board x

nickstermum · 26/09/2010 22:36

Hiya lady chatter chums. So sorry that the old bitch turned upfor you too sunny.....i totally understand and do get your frustration!

laloony big decision going for it again. i admire your strength. Bee, Izzy, Apples thanks for the uplifting comments about my weekend news. Feeling ok. glad i got checked, even if it does make me ask...was it my fault etc etc....more than i did already. Things i notice arent quite right down there, & i think thats why AF has been such a bitch this time.... hope that relaxes you MA (where are you anyway this weekend?) Mamap where are you too?

The infec the ABs are treating are not an STI, its i think (from google) called Bacterial Vaginosis, just a bacterial infec living on the cervix, which hey guess what can cause early mc. Have no idea whether i had it before TTC, or if its arrived after the MC...will never know now so i have to not dwell and look forward...and try to look at the positives.

Teacake best of luck for tomorrow. Thinking of you stay strong xxxx

xxxxx

Velvetcu · 26/09/2010 22:28

As a virgin opk-er I need some advice! I have done 1 every other day for 10 days and they were all negative. They were very cheapy ones so could it be they were just shite or are they usually pretty accurate?

LadyBee · 26/09/2010 21:56

Ah bum, sorry to all you ladies who didn't strike it lucky this time around. It's gutting every month whether you feel you've done everything possible or whether you're wishing you did things differently. Aye well ladies. Indulge yourselves for a bit, mope or wail. Well be here to pick you up when you're ready.

sunchild77 · 26/09/2010 21:23

Well thats me out of the game for another month :( Was and still am so so gutted. Really had pulled out all the SWI stops this month and was sure we must have got there :( (also must be a board record in too early pointless poas-ing though. 2 cheapies and 3 FRER, I hang my head in shame :( ) Cried lots and lots yesterday and consoled myself with a steak dinner and copious amounts of red wine, which didnt really help much.)

I don't understand why my quest for #3 is so hard, as have have been knocked up easypeasy in the past. (I know others have it worse etc, but please indulge me, Im feeling pretty low.)

Sorry for not name checking everyone, the board seems to move so fast I have trouble keeping up.
Have updated my stats sorry if I mess it up..

That should read BFN x2 (not both bfn x 2) I didn't PO4S!!

getawiggleon · 26/09/2010 19:58

Sorry AF arrived Dachs Boo, boo and thrice boo.
Crappy day here today after yesterday's sunshine. Feeling a bit glum too. Took a double POAS whammy earlier - pg test and opk (impressively, from same toilet visit!) Both BFNx2 but just wanted to know what was going on. Think I'm 12DPO but teensy bit of ewcm earlier which is why I did opk. Apparently it could be an oestrogen surge before af arrives. Who was it that coined the term 'arsecrackers'?

Sorry for moany post. It's gone v quiet on here this weekend....

loola2shu · 26/09/2010 17:45

Having a rubbish day. No longer any point me testing on Wednesday, my 'official test day'. AF showed up.
