Pretty - I can't remember, sorry, but I know you've had several of the ol' fuckers (MC) as well as the molar. Did you ever get any possible diagnosis on that side?

nickstermum · 03/10/2010 14:12

Ah ha ha - bee glad i am not the only one about mary read.... i was just too chicken to own up :) PJs and dressing gown.... Steptoe? (or is that string vest?)

bee good stuff about the peak... i am just going off dates etc... winging it as such!! Good for you are feeling better emotionally.

Talking of saucy, my DH downloaded me some books for my iphone... well... Blush talk about Porn!!! its hilarious.... will have to recite some to you to get you all in the mood... it would work if i couldnt stop laughing Grin

LadyBee · 03/10/2010 14:01

Nickster sounds like a great night off out, there's nothing quite like getting rat arsed when you don't normally Grin. It's been a while since I was properly pickled but now that I know my bestfriend is about a week in front of me cycle-wise if it doesn't work for her (she's doing IUI) and it doesn't work for me you can bet we'll be hitting the local cocktail lounge with a vengeance in the week before her next round.

If your cycle is a 30-dayer this time around I reckon you should probably go for it tonight and try to get another one in a couple of days after...got any vaguely erotic movies around? I'm seriously thinking of trying to find something a bit saucy to watch tonight - woke up this morning feeling a bit warmer than usual and bingo! straight to a peak on my CBFM. Temp was up too so I'm panicking quietly hoping that if we get another SWI in tonight I'll catch the egg. Think DH has an inkling about it but just trying not to stress too much.

PrettyV I'm feeling about 10000000x better emotionally at the moment, than I was last month. It's amazing what a difference some time can make. I think it helps knowing that my appt with the consultant to see results of my test will fall a day after my next AF is due, so if I am lucky enough to get a +ve then, I won't be worried about not finding out results in time to start treatment if anything is nec. Sorry, that's a bit confusing Confused.

Can't think who your DH would have been in paisley jimjams though...someone v louche? or a boxer (with the towel). A louche boxer?
To my shame, I don't even know who Mary Read is Blush

Aha! I knew there was something interesting up there.
Izzy spotting 5 dpo...hmmm...can I just fan the flames of symptom spotting and whisper implantation bleed Grin. Sorry if that's not helpful in maintaining some sort of pretence of normality in the tww.

oh AandR no wonder you wanted to give sil a miss. Don't blame you!

Nicks the one that really jumps out of your list to of is STRESS! Not that that helps resolve the issue though...

And yes, I'm cooking christmas dinner right now. The turkey's in the oven! Yummy! Friends christmas dinner is and old tradition with uni friends, except we got a bit behind schedule so we're playing catch up. At least this is 'christmas 2009'. 'Christmas 2008' was in april...

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 03/10/2010 09:56

I thought you said POAS Tuesday?!!! Step away from the pee-sticks....

Hey nicks sounds like you had a good night anyway -how's the head this morning? Smile

TMI warning: had some light spotting/brown cm yeserday (cd23) which I am guessing doesn't bode well for this month Sad. UCL is 28-29 days and I ov'd pretty late (cd18) so will be mightily pissed off if this means AF is going to show up even earlier than usual - I need my LP to get longer not shorter!!

. How's it going for you this month?

nickstermum · 03/10/2010 09:09

Hey BEE we may be back on speaking terms but still no SWI (shags with intent i think you will find MumA!!) I was too drunk! 3 halves of peroni, and a pimms and i was zig zagging up the street Grin

See, i dont drink normally.... so when i do am just a total disgrace. Had a great night, mostly spent ribbing our Navy pal.....just left his wife after having a fling with a wren.... most entertaining!

loola cat woman....my loola-cat is curled up on my bed as we speak....:) Its bizarre isnt it!? A&R mine def isnt related to SWI as we are having a dry spell in the nicks household... but yours may be. Thankfully the spotting has ceased now, just a bit of discharge. wombat could be stress.. i am not the most relaxed person in the world, thats why its been good to go out and get trashed :) never know... tonight could be the night mwahahahahahah!

Choccybick · 03/10/2010 09:02

okay....... please HADDOCK me
Just POAS on day 25 and of course a BFN

LadyBee · 03/10/2010 00:35

That is taking 'catch up' seriously Grin
I'm planning a friends Christmas dinner for my birthday - kills two birds (and eats them!)
Birthday is two days after yours Dachs! - and did you mean you've got the same as velvetcu, AandRMum? How odd! Hullo btw, I'm really sorry you suffered the MMC, they're horrible. Desperately unfair. Oh, I went back to my EPAU to be scanned after my latest MC (which was natural), on their suggestion. If you're still concerned about it you could call them?

Speaking of catch up - there's been an awful lot going on since I was on.

wiggle congrats (of sorts) on getting through that WTF cycle, you're right, it is good news that your body is moving back into a normal recovery. Sorry your DH's trip means this month isn't a goer.

mummyabroad I hope that now you're past the scans your AF decides to show up. Must be sooo frustrating waiting like this.

mamapower hope you're starting to feel a bit better now.

Izzy hope this early part of the wait is going quickly for you

JamFace I'm not doing grapefruit juice yet - I like to keep a few things in reserve, so that if it doesn't work out I can add something in the next month. Grapefruit juice is a fairly easy thing to add so that'll go on the menu next month.

Caribou will be thinking of you next wednesday sweetheart, I can hardly bear to think about what you're going through at the moment but will be praying to every deity there is that everything works out ok for you this time.

nickster pleased to hear you and your DH are back on friendly terms. Don't you just love the way TTC adds that extra dimension of tension to any normal relationship stresses Hmm

Hi digi here's hoping this is the month for you - I know you've had a few cycles that looked really promising, so am trying not to get my hopes up too much for you but am secretly optimistic Smile

wombat how are you feeling now? I had an enormous meltdown about feeling like there was nothing positive to look forward to. It must be very difficult having those odds in your mind as well. Just keep going lady, one foot in front of the other - sometimes that's as much as you can do, but it still gets you there in the end.

welcome back choccy sounds like you had a fantastic holiday and hopefully a lucky one too!

Waves to everyone else - urbanlolly, kat, youremindme, tunnocks, wombat, apple, loola and my lovely owllaceupsinhercups
