Yup - things can only get better as the wek goes on!!

Was supposed to clean the house this aftenoon but only managed to sort out my wardrobes and clear our bedroom..... Was feeling wiped out and so had a litle naand now I'm feeling like a complete space cadet. Must be the cold making me feel so spaced and rough.

bebe it is so hard to stay positive when your hb is stressed out! My hb has had a lot of stress in the past year, but luckily for him things are changing now. Is there an end in sight?

AC credit to you for putting your DH's needs and desires above your own. I hope that yo gave him hell for his "hopefully you;ve learnt your lesson" comment. [anrgy] On the contraception front, I would be tempted to say to him that he has 3 chopice:

1. no sex
2. SWI and the possibility of a baby
3. Persona and condoms (think that this was what you were planning on doing once your cycles settled down after the pill)

Do not let him force you into going on the pill or getting injections if you don't want to. If only they had released the male pill, I wonder how he would feel about taking that?!?!?

bebe It must be awful for you to have to deal with DH's depression and stree as well as your own feelings about TTC and your injections. Hopeullyyou hliday will give you a little bit of time to get away from things and talk over the reaswons he is so stressed at work etc. Men can be funny buggers and never seem to want to talk about 'emotional issues' but when youd drag it out of them they feel a lot better. Daft buggers!

My interview went ok this morning. Really hard to tell what they think but I should have an answer by the end of the week. They are considering 2 other candidates, one external and the temp that is covering the position at the moment. The agent thinks that I should have a pretty good chance but I am now a bit worried that they will go for the temp because they know her....... damn it! Please can you all cross your fingers?!?!?

I am feeling virtuous after going to the gym last night and finding out that I'm not too unfit after all :) just need to keep going, but I'm doing a fun run later in the year (only a mile) so at least there's something to aim for.

Well, my OH has surprised me with a weekend away, he's booked everything and I didn't know about it until all the details were final. :o How cool is that?!

lol, i will try my best to be a good mentor, altho i cant really be any help on the TTC as i have never had to try, this month i missed a couple of pills and had sex twice in 6 weeks lol, the odds on me conceiving must have been near none, guess it was meant to be :)

I can only imagine what that wanting to be excited but trying not to be excited feeling is like. You are I think first on the train now, you will be the first 'mentor' about things now, maybe you should be more worried about that (I am of course trying to make a joke, but it's a bad effort at one)

thaks 100years i have no news when scan will be yet went drs on friday to tell them bout positive result afta she told me thats with 3 neg tests it wasnt worth her doing one lol, she then just sed she will send me out referal form and asked wot hospital i wanted to go to, but still havnt recieved referal form, its horrible as i dont want to get to xcited till i have had scan and no everythings ok, im so tired and cant sleep had ab out 3 hours last nite my mind just wont switch off and when i am asleep im having really scary vivid dreams

Aaaah jbells congrats, that's lovely news. I've read a lot about tests not showing until people are up to 8 weeks pg before now, so it's not unheard of for it to take so long. Are you having scan at normal 12 weeks or having an earlier one?

hi all, hope everyones ok,

so got some news turns out drs and pregnancy tests can b wrong as turns out i am probably about 6 and a half wks pregnant! have took about 5 more pregnancy tests just to make sure and all positive including to clear blues that came up with PREGNANT, wasnt goin to tell u all till ive had my scan, as im worried something may b wrong seems it took the hcg so long to show up, but cudnt keep it in any longer, fingers crossed everything is ok, the dr didnt even bloody give me a prescription for folic acid, my dr really is crap!

so looks like a may baby for me, i will have a 25 month old and a new born its hitting home wot hard work it will be lol

Hello 100yrs good to hear a positive attitude! Must learn from your example and stop being so obsessive! It can sometimes be difficult to find the time/opportunity to post much, can't it.

I'm ok about it, thank you to everyone who posted, it made it all much easier. DH seems quite glad I'm upset by it all, he says hopefully I've learned my lesson.

Don't know where to go from here contraception-wise. Condoms are ruining our sex life, because as soon as they come out of the drawer I feel totally deflated. Clearly I need to go back on the pill, or have the contraceptive injection - something that I can't do anything about once I've had it.
