I think of it more of preparing myself for bad news and then if it's good news I will be very happy.

If I get too excited about it then I will be really dissappointed if I don't get it.

There is logic in it somewhere!!!!

WhyWait that sounds pretty sensible to test in CD38. Pretty exciting stuff!!!

Still waiting to hear back form the recruiter..... she was supposed to find out this morning and now it's afternoon and I haven't heard anything. I'm guessing that means it's not good news :(

Cocktails and dinner in the bar tonight sounds perfect!

nannyl sorry to hear about your dad :(

whywait I think it's normal to panic a bit! I'm already a bit nervous and we haven't started yet!!

JustShaggingForNow · 23/09/2010 11:15

WhyWait Remember, little ones take 9 months to cook so your financial situation could change for the better in that time.

Don't really know what the propper advice on testing is but I think most people suggest waiting until you are late rather than taking early tests, just incase you have a chemical PG. When is your AF due?

JustShaggingForNow · 23/09/2010 09:37

Just heard from my recruiter. They have made a decision and are calling her this morning to tell her.

Thinking it won't be me though - just got a bad feeling about it. Damn!

bebejones · 23/09/2010 09:12

Morning my lovelies! :)

Friday we shall be stopping at the piqturesque village of Lastjab :o

Quod we definately have one of those carriages on here Wink

Nannyl - was wondering where you were! Glad you had a good birthday, but :( that your dad is poorly

JBells - People also spell my name wrong regularly & I'm always spelling it for people, and I also get called something completely different quite regularly because people don't look at it properly when it's written down! Hmm It is very annoying, but I'm kind of used to it now!

Morning morning!!

Hope that you all slept well in your luxury cabins last night. Your butlers (I took the liberty of cloning Jake Gyllenhaal and George Clooney numerous times for the trip) will be in to serve you a delicious grilled English Breakfast so please put in your egg orders (fertilized poached or non scrambled)

Today we will be stopping off in the village of evilpregfoods for lunch where we will be sampling a delicious brie, rare steak, cocktails galore and various other treats. Appologies to jbells and whywait who are driving the train today. However I believe that our next stop is at the EPU :) Does anybody have a timetable for the rest of our stops this month??

Welcome onto the train Nannyl - I am very pleased to hear that you had a fab week of birthday celebrations but sad to hear that your father isn't very well at the moment. Sending hugs and cocktails to you.

bebe very pleased to hear that you chatted to your MS nurse. Silly DH rolling his eyes at you Biscuit

bebejones · 23/09/2010 08:13

I tried to get back to 'serve dinner' last night but MN wasn't working Hmm Angry

I'll be back in a bit, DD is shouting for me to go & get her up!! Late one today, hoorah! :o

Bebe I SO wish I was having your Train Dinner and not my frozen pizza!

Seconding the anti-depressants sentiment that JS expressed, we have a lot of depression in my family and no stigma about getting medicated! I know that sometimes a medication kickstart can make a real improvement, it's no different to you keeping your MS in check when you need to. If he's been to the doctor then he's already done the hard bit.

Nannyl sorry to hear about your dad too, hope he gets better soon.

Can we have one of those bar/cafe carriages on our train that you get in the TGV so we can sit on bar stools and drink champagne or espressos whilst looking at the delightful scenery rolling past?

jbells · 22/09/2010 19:27

nannyl like your countdown :o

glad u had a really nice extended birthday but sorry that your dad is poorly, i hope it improves, i am quite happy to be the train driver as long as i can come out for BEBES meals at dinner lol

nannyl · 22/09/2010 19:24

hmm
im SURE i posted on here but it doenst seem to be here?

anyway hello everyone.... Im now back and 30 years old AGHHH.!!!!
thanks for all my birthday messages from last thread Smile

Sorry not been on here for a while, as well as celebraring my birthday 3 days in a row my daddy has been really quite poorly and i havent been brave enough to be able to 'type' it without getting upset, so i have been reading your threads and trying to keep up!
JBells congratulations on your BFP... how exciting. agree you should be pur tran driver!

WW how exciitng about your 2ww (though i found it terrifying, but then didnt want to be pg!

bebe very pleased to hear (on last thread) that you and DH have been discussing baby names... now that is exciting and another big step forward!

JS good luck with your interview, sounds like your boss is horrid so lets hope you can get out asap!

hope everyone else is well.

i might not be back for a few days as im down south for wedding number 1 this weekend, but i will be back and am looking forward to this very exciting train journey!

jbells · 22/09/2010 19:21

evening all, well work was xtremely boring today but not as awful as usual thankfully

BEBE- good news that the nurse finall got back to u :) u can finally get the ball rolling :o boo to the rolling eyes hate it when they look at u like that

WHYWAIT- i also thought it was cystitus coming and sed to my mum that i was getting pains in my lower back and that it cud be my kidneys and that i wud go the drs and get checked but it never got worse and i didnt get stinging wee sorry TMI, also i have only just started gettin sore boobs now at 7 weeks, whereas last time i had them from bout 4 weeks, so it can vary, also i kept getting period pains everyday and wud be convinced that my period was coming but obv never came, fingers crossed for u :)

JS- glad everyting was forgiven and forgotten with DP i am like that but my DP sulks and holds grudges which really bugs me :(

AC- it is annoying when everyone spells your name wrong i have to always correct people on my first and second name and my DD's name is always spelt wrong to as its an unusual name, maybe i shudnt make life difficult for them hehe

bebejones · 22/09/2010 18:17

Definitely sticking with the name! Although seeing as we have it already decided we will probably have another girl!

DH worked from home today so was here when the nurse called, so have had lots of rolling of eyes & grunting noises from DH when I told him why she had rang! Hmm

AC - did your DH suggest anything viable?

WW - bet the not knowing is horrid, never had that with DD & not really looking forward to it next time!

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 22/09/2010 18:07

Just shagging aren't you saving any names for future DC?

AmandaCooper · 22/09/2010 18:03

Whywait that sounds positive - it would be hilarious if we all fell pg on this thread! I've got at least a 5% chance this month! No symptoms though.

Bebe that's great news about your meds and although your DH is obviously having a bad time generally it's a good sign that he's talking about names. My DH actually sat and researched names last night shouting out suggestions to me while I made the tea!

On the subject of names I agree on the Jackson/Jaxson thing it would be infuriating to have to constantly correct people and spell your name out.

Bebe you should definitely stick with Logan if you both like it. It's far too far removed to ever be a problem.
