100years · 30/09/2010 12:10

Bebe, that really sucks :( I hope they get it sorted out soon for you.

I'm going back to bed shortly, on a night shift tonight and tomorrow night, but just been out for a bike ride of just over 20 miles :) Whoop, it was goooooooood :o Got home made some flapjack, yuuuuummy

Quodlibet · 30/09/2010 11:17

Oh Bebe that's atrocious! Your poor DH, that's all he needs.
Sorry you're feeling rubbish too amummy and jbells.

Everybody's really down in the dumps on this train, do you think we are going through a tunnel?!

What would help? Shall I organise some light entertainment? George and Jake clearly aren't pulling their weight. Maybe I could get the all-women band from Some Like It Hot to come and do us a few 1940s numbers and we could all swig whisky out of bottles tucked into our stockings? We could make it into our own, alternative Team Building day....

DH has booked my Birthday off (it's a Monday) coz it was the only thing I asked for! But other than that he won't get any time off now until Christmas! British Gas are gonna get it both barrels! DH is still waiting for them to fix it! No heating or hot water since Tuesday even though he has told them he has a small child (they don't know we are away). They offered £50 off our next gas bill! Hmm DH has lost his holiday & over a days earnings & we need a new back door. Not to mention the stress & the cost of the phonecalls! Really angry, think I'm going to end up going home from holiday a day early so he isn't on his own anymore :(

Oh my god Bebe what a nightmare for you. Just what you and DH need! I hope your solicitor gets a proper resolution for you, that's just completely unacceptable.

What a shame your DH can't join you on holiday as well. Might he get some time off later in the year?

Sending you hugs x

bebejones · 29/09/2010 20:23

Hello Train! :)

I am feeling really low, DH isn't coming on holiday (at least looking very doubtful). British Gas have majorly cocked up, I mean really really fu**ed up! Angry They cut our gas off yesterday....BY MISTAKE!!! The saga has gone on and on and on. But the cowboy contractor who did it has damaged the valve & it needs fixing to be turned back on. This was only discovered by an engineer at 7pm this evening after they had said someone would be out to reconnect it at lunchtime! Also our back door had been forced yesterday, which we think was this gas bloke (nothing taken) and no proof, but our neighbours saw him going round the back & the gas box is by the front door. AND he left all the paper work with our neighbours, I am mortified, even though it was a 'mistake'! Feel so bad for DH to have to deal with all this crap on his own :( Plus really angry that this situation has happened. Our solictor is drafting a huge formal complaint letter, the list of cock ups is huge!

Amummy - So sorry you are feeling so rubbish. I had a shortish cycle a while back & I was in agony, it was very weird. Glad your DH is looking after you.

JBells -

Will be interested to see what happens to my cycles now I have stopped my meds.

The last 6months have been a bit all over the place Confused

jbells sorry you had a poo day yesterday, rants are good though, I did miss out on the advice part of things.

Hope everyone else is OK, not got time to check back on everything as I am about to get ready for work, but I'm still here, still waiting, still wanting!!!! Wink

jbells · 29/09/2010 09:13

thanks for all your advice yest everyone, i am feeling a bit more rational today, i know its his job and its not as if he is partying all the time, these hormones just seem to be getting the better of me, hopefully they will calm down soon, its just so lonely in the house on my own at nite once DD is in bed (gets the violins out) lol, i have rang in sick to work today generally feeling crappy and really cant stand to sit around those intolerable people, going to see my mum so that shud make me feel better and DD is in nusery so will get a bit of rest that shud help,

sorry for the rant yest :)

Amummy- im not the best person to know about times u ovulate, conceiving etc, i hope you managed to get other advice tho, wot was the general concensus?

AC- thanks for advice it always helps to hear view points from people out the situation, i do need to remember that DP is trying to get out of debt and its been a long hard few years but by the end of necxt year there will be light at the end of the tunnel, i guess its always frustrating for both parties

AmandaCooper · 28/09/2010 19:58

As long as you ovulate and have a luteal phase that lasts at least 10 days I don't see why not.

Jbells I'm sorry you are feeling so down and DH is not around to take it out on lol. As has been suggested, treat yourself to some r&r. I am in exactly the same position as your DH, i.e. I came to the relationship with £35K debt, and it's not easy. I'm down to about £24K now, but it seems endless. Tricky to manage when DH has no debt, particularly when I want to ttc. It is rubbish from either side.

amummyinwaiting · 28/09/2010 19:44

Me again-need bit of help/advice.
As you know only past 4/5months have been gettig periods since coming off injection.
Day 18 of m/c today and started bleeding after two days of cramps, back pain. Its only light and is bright red. Does this mean anything? Is there any chance of conceiving on a 18 day m/c. Feeling quite miserable because of it. Going to post on general conception bit too.

amummyinwaiting · 28/09/2010 18:26

Hi JBells,
So sorry you are feeling so sad. You are bound to be feeling more emotional than normal with all the hormones swirling around in your body. Plus you are starting to think about how your life will be changed when 2d baby comes along and so that is stressing you out too.
As you know my dh has big debt too ad so is payingoff a loan. It does get frustrating as most of his money goes onto that but you say that he got into debt before he met you? So since he has been with you he is just paying that off? That is good as it means he has learnt his lesson and is doing everything he can to make things better i the long run. I have ranted and raved about dh debt but I know that he is not getting anymore into debt and is sorting it out. Its going to be a good few years yet but in the long run it will be ok.
Also, when I have to work away I go out with the people I'm working with and get a meal for free from expenses so it sounds like I am having a good time but I would do anything to be at home with my dh-it just makes it the time go quicker.
I think like the others said you need to have a nice night, relax, think of the positives and then when you feel a bit calmer explain to dh how you feel as your wellbeing is very important too.
I really hope you ar ok.
Sending a big hug
x

jbells · 28/09/2010 16:48

thanks JS WHYWAIT

i am getting myself worked up and upset now, this just isnt wot i sighed up for when he told me bout new job he sed it wud mean he was home more as he wudnt be travelling just over a hr there and back everday, we live near liverpool and his old job was by manchester, but now it seems every couple of weeks or so hes going to be staying away on business meetings etc, i just really hate being alone all day and all nite, i know it sounds stupid but if i didnt contribute as much financially as he did i prob wudnt mind so much but i still pay all the bills and all he pays is the rent, at the moment im getting paid for 20 hrs a week, id prob have a more lienient view otherwise, but at the moment DD seems to be my sole responsibilty most the time, i work 2 days and pay just as much as he does in bills, i just feel im in a bit of an unfair position, he earns a lot lot more than me but had got himself into loads of debt before i met him that consequently takes a big chunk of the money, last nite afta he finished work while i was still running round with DD, he went back to his hotel, went to the gym, used the sauna and steam room and then ordered room service , maybe im being unreasonable but i just feel hard done by at the moment, and in a very miserable mooney mood lol, i really dont think DP understand how tiring and hardwork looking afta a toddler is dont get me wrong i wudnt change looking afta her for going to work and i know im lucky i get to see her a lot more than he does but it wud be nice if he ever recognised how hard my job is

Hope everyone else is having a better day
oh and to top it off he was supose to leave work for the 3 hr journey home at 4 and still hasnt

Oh jbells! You silly saussage!!! good that it has reassured you though :)

It sounds like you are having a tough day - really sorry to hear that DP's job is upsetting you. Hopefully things will start to improve at some point but for now it's crappy that you don't get the benefits of his extra hours and time away from home.

Can you take time out for a nice bath?? I know it's silly but I find that really helps me when i am feeling a bit down.

Hugs to you
x

jbells · 28/09/2010 15:54

so i caved took another pregnancy test to reassure myself the preg line came up b4 the controll line this time and was very definate dark line so i wasted money but least i feel better and have reassured myself

im feeling a bit down stressed today, DP left for work at 6.30am yest and wont get home till afta 8 tonite, so been alone with DD for 2 days, really dont like his new job, its not benefiting us in anyway just means he is seeing a lot less of me and more importantly DD, not wot i need when im pregnant but i cant say anything as this is the reason y he didnt want to talk about TTC till afta the new year :( its just gets really lonely being home alone all the time, starting to worry how ill cope with 2 now if his job carries on like this, i wudnt even mind if it was bringing in xtra money but it works out less money 4 more hours, sorry for the rant (think the hormones r kicking in i am not a very nice pregnant person i dont think lol

JustShaggingForNow · 28/09/2010 13:56

AC - we can wait together and watch the bus leave without us......

AmandaCooper · 28/09/2010 13:21

Not at the same time obviously!
