bebe, not sure what to suggest re the docs, is there not an out of hours provider you could see if you left it to the weekend and needed to see someone then, I think Doctors have to have some form of OOH care planned.

100years · 26/10/2010 17:01

Oh hun, I just get the odd depression days and sometimes it doesn't even make any sense as to why it is that day. Had it a lot last year and so I am acutely aware of any symptoms and do hope I don't go back there. Ooooh re SWI on day 14, so you might be, you just never know Shock You're welcome.

I'm starting to write a diary about all of this, I'm not sure if it will make any sense in the end or if I will ever show it to anyone, but it might be nice to keep a track of things. We will see.

bebebones · 26/10/2010 16:59

It's so nice to hear about BFPs from 'graduates'!! Yay! Good Luck Mrs!!

WW - I usually start in the pm too, and like 100 says you are supposed to start counting from the first full day of bleeding! But (TMI alert) I don't get spotting, it just starts full on, so I usually count that as day one even if I don't start til lunchtime! Does that make sense?

Thanks for voting for DD, I caved & put a plea out on the Next wall! Didn't seem fair that people were doing it and getting loads of votes, sort of an unfair advantage! Still think it was probably a futile exercise! But I can live in hope! Hmm Wink

Leg is no better, but not any worse Confused I'm a bit unsure what to do. Part of me thinks I should ring the GP in the morning & just get it checked & part of me thinks I'm being silly & it's nothing. Trouble is it's sod's law that if I leave it it'll get worse over the weekend when I can't see my doctor! Confused Tricky!

I always thought Day 1 was the first day of full bleeding. If it starts as spotting then heavier the next day then the next day, if it starts properly on that day then it's that day. That's what I do anyway :) I think Mrswantstobeamum was before my time, as I only joined here in August/sept, but yay for her. :)

Hey everyone.

Well my friend now knows, she was asking me what my plans were re career as she knows what I do now isn't really my long term plan and I told her that for now things are on hold as we want to start a family, she was like oh then don't wait if that's what you want to which I then said well we're actually no long waiting to try! LOL She was chuffed and it was nice to talk about that and other things.

I seem to be symptom spotting immensely at the moment. Keep getting slight cramps like period pains which I often get before I actually come on, got a headache and feel sick. Weirdly last month was the first month for ages when I had my period that I felt sick when I got it, so I can't even think, well maybe, it was also the first month in ages that my boobs started hurting before I came on. rolls eyes at all these new pre period symptoms that is going to make next month interesting!

bebejones · 26/10/2010 13:38

100 - I felt almost relieved to tell a couple of my friends that we I Hmm am planning on TTC! Just needed to let it out! Don't want to tell anyone else just yet though. As nice as it is my mum knowing what we are planning, there are some things I just can't discuss with my mum! Wink

JBells - I had no proper symptoms early on with DD, but I just knew I was PG Confused was really odd! My boobs never hurt at all, the whole way through!

Squirrel - got fingers crossed for you!

WYorks - I had horrendous wedding nightmares, no fun! But on the day I was surprisingly calm & relaxed...until I went to leave or the church! DH said when I walked up the aisle he didn't know if I was going to leg it, burst into tears or throw up!! It was waaaaaaay more stressful than moving house! Bet you are ridiculously excited?! :o

Gonna go for bebebones then, just til Monday! [hgrin]

OP posts:
WYorksLass · 26/10/2010 12:54

There are 32 days, 2 hours and 7 (ish) minutes until our wedding :)

I haven't had a pg dream in a while. I did have my first wedding nightmare last night though. The beer hadn't arrived when it was supposed to so i then worried that the cake and food wouldn't turn up either! Fortunately it was a mild nightmare, as long as OH and the vicar turn up it will all be ok Grin

jbells · 26/10/2010 11:57

thanks squirral, i had all the symptons that i was going to come on my period when i was pregnant was convinced everyday that period was coming, i know other people that had no symptons at all, first time round i had extremly sore boobs but didnt this time, thats the annoying thing the waiting and u never know unless u r chucking up every morning, hope u r PG, im still nervous that when i go for scan there will be no baby in there

100years · 26/10/2010 11:57

Yeah I have heard 5 days, so I'm hoping with lots of love making throughout the month I will get lucky! I think OH is enjoying the no condoms thing [hblush]

No squirrel, you are right I don't want to broadcast it to everyone, and I've not spoken to her for a long time, and possibly the next time we speak would be when(positive thinking) I am pg. I just want to kind of share the excitement of actually TTC.

I should be happy with talking about it here and on other threads and to the couple of other people who know, but I seem to want to tell more and more people, which goes against my not wanting to broadcast it! LOL

squirrel007 · 26/10/2010 11:49

wyorkslass yay for the honeymoon! :) there can't be long left before your wedding now?

bebe I also like bebebones

jbells you also have a very cute DD :)

100years I am finding it hard to know who to talk to about ttc! One friend knows we plan to, but she lives abroad and I don't see her often. Others have assumed and I haven't corrected them. I don't want to broadcast it to everyone, but I'm not sure if/when/who to tell.

By my reckoning I am now 15dpo but have no symptoms at all (either pms or pg). I hate all the waiting!!

jbells · 26/10/2010 11:37

thanks bebe- the grin shows her cheeky personality shes crazy lol, will try get on and vote for your DD today u shud of put a pic on the nxt of her in the tutu so sweet :)

oh and just to 2nd u on the sperm thing ive heard they live 5 days and apparantly the girl sperm is a lot more durable than the boy sperm, so im hoping i ovulated the day we had sex so its a boy :) i have no idea tho i do feel like im having a boy this time where as last time i was convinced i was having a girl dont know whether this is just wishfull thinking tho

bebejones · 26/10/2010 11:31

JBells - your DD is so cute!!! What a cheeky grin! :)

Fluffy - have a lovely Christmas, you are welcome back here anytime! Come and see in the New Year with us while we pass round the pregnancare cananpes & the alcohol free (but still delicious) bubbly!! Wink

100 - Think sperm can last a few days, do lots of pre OV SWI if you think things might be tricky! Wink (This is thought to be good for girl babies & retrospectively is what got me my DD although I didn't know at the time!!)

FluffyDonkey · 26/10/2010 11:02

Hey all
Am very Blush at my complete inability to keep up with the posting...
I keep telling myself to stop obsessing about babies and TTC so maybe this thread isn't helping me....
Anyway, didn't just want to disappear into the wilderness after you all budged up on the train to make room for me.
I'll be back (said with a corny accent) probably in 2011 so at least I'm posting about TTC in the same year we're planning on TTC!!!!

Good luck to all of you in your lives and with your TTC when you stop waiting and start trying Smile

100years · 26/10/2010 11:01

WhyWait, I'm on the August Bus, in fact I started the engine running :o Come join me if this month hasn't worked(hope it has for you)

Bebe, please don't feel guilty. You have said yourself before that the drugs don't always stop a relapse, so you can't really blame all of this on stopping your meds. I shall go vote now.

AC, thanks. Yep I'm definitely a bouncing excited ball of TTC tension :o I keep dreaming I'm pg!

Squirrel, I'm (not so) secretly hoping my AF doesn't show, even though the changes of me getting pg from when we started trying are practically zero, the only way it would have been the 'right time' is if I was on a 36+ day cycle, this is not unheard of for me, but I've been PMTish since day 28 so I am really thinking that it's just a case of waiting for AF to arrive.

WYorks, ace on the two regular cycles :o hooray for honeymoonshagging

Well everyone, I hope you are all OK. I finished my shifts this morning at 3am, and woke pretty early, am waiting on a friend coming round, we've not seen each other for over a year and hadn't spoken for a long time, and when I spoke to her on the phone a few weeks ago to arrange meeting one of the very first questions were 'so when are the babies coming' LOL OH was in the other room and I think he would prefer not to know if I am talking to people about it so I was pretty cagey about it, I may or may not tell her, depending on if I think she will jump up and down(although I actually don't do this kind of thing myself normally) with me.

Plans may have changed for tomorrow, as my niece is unwell and may not be able to come over(or rather my sis may not go out with her) It'll be a shame as we were going to see a show, but I do understand.

The more I get closer to AF and the fact that after it we will be DTD/SWI whatever you want to say, the more I am inclined to not chart etc as I kind of want it to be a natural thing, but I've started temping now, I may stop and just go for OPKs, but I'm also worrying that I may have a +ve OPK and it be a day where I am working a night or OH is away - he has a few over nighters coming up. I suppose we will just have to do it often in the hope that if it does come +ve and we can't do it then there will be swimmers waiting. Oh it's all so complicated. I'm sure people in the middle ages didn't have this stuff, I think I'd like to go back in time.

bebejones · 26/10/2010 10:21

WYorks - how long now til wedding?

One of my school friends has just announced she is PG, she gets married mid November!

OP posts:
bebejones · 26/10/2010 10:20

AC - I also had very lovely PG dream last night too! :o Nice isn't it?! Also had a very positive birth experience in my dream, wouldn't that be lovely in RL?! Wink

Thank you to those who have voted! Wish I had picked a better picture, but that's what happens when I let DH get involved! Wink

Thinking of changing my MN name to something halloweeny. BOOjones or bebebones, any ideas?!

OP posts:
WYorksLass · 26/10/2010 09:35

How exciting about the August bus. I was thinking of boarding it as theoretically if we conceive 1st month of trying we will have a due date of end of August. I think i'd better wait until we start tring though, don't want to get carried away!

Good news is that AF arrived this morning meaning both full cycles i've had since stopping the pill have been exactly 27 days long, so regular thus far :-) Sorry, that is probably TMI but i am chuffed as i was very irregular before i started taking the pill 12 years ago. If things stay like this the fertile period could be during honeymoon ;-)

Have a good day all. I will try to vote for bebejnr at lunch if facebook behaves itself.
