hey peeps :0)

I have been TTC for 3 months now to no avail, no idea why not, as am very healthy, fit and SWI at the 'right' times.
Getting slightly stressed as everyone around me is preggers or recently had a little one, which I am happy about but it seems to be happening to people that have/do all the things that everybody says to avoid having/doing!

I shall begin a list:)

I wish I'd get a few symptoms, but maybe my lack of symptoms month after month means that when I do get a symptom it will be the real deal?!

Very sure AF will come soon, hopefully not late!!

Lol... I like the idea of competition to improve swimmers... but not sure how to pull it off. Maybe tell DH about a 'fake' dream about SWI with someone else?? wow... just re-read that and It sounds dumb:) plus can't see DH getting too worked up. Any better ideas? Grin

sufferingbabyfever · 08/11/2010 22:57

lol at the missing baby symptom! I was so like that last month. This month I don't have any symptoms! Not even imaginary ones!
So its not looking good for me!

Purplelooby · 08/11/2010 21:27

A bus with no timetable - oh no :(

I'm on the boring 2ww, but I'm determined not to get psychological symptoms like last month! I swear I had just about every pregnancy symptom imaginable. Well, except for a baby...

sufferingbabyfever · 07/11/2010 21:11

That's a good idea. Maybe we could try that! Oi DH there's some competition tonight!

Whereabouts are you at the minute? In cycle terms. Not in a creepy Im outside your window style. Im very much into the waiting game. But as my cycle changes length as it suits I've no idea how long to wait.

Its like waiting on a bus? Except when I've ever done that I don't aimlessly look for signs of the bus coming. Rumbles in the distance? Bus?

Purplelooby · 07/11/2010 21:06

"Bicycle, bicycle" Grin

I also heard that men make better quality swimmers when they are feeling threatened by the presence of other men. I've been trying to book Sean Bean for some time, but no luck so far...

goldmaple · 06/11/2010 23:39

Lmao!! Legs in the air cycling?! Poor DH already gets a bit spooked when it is SWI-time (though he bravely hides it and doesn't let it affect his performance). Can't imagine what he'd think if I did that!! Having said that I will probably be trying it if I get to cycle 7 or 8 with no BFP Grin

sufferingbabyfever · 06/11/2010 11:05

Hey purple I heard that too!

Tried it once! Made DH do it too! Whilst singing the queen song. Bicycle, bicyle! {grin].

However, was too funny and has not been repeated!

Purplelooby · 06/11/2010 10:19

Hi monkey - nice to meet you! I always wondered whether working with nursery kids all day would put people off having babies - but obviously not!

Gold sorry about the BFN Sad but you've still got 4 days left to go so keep the fingers and legs crossed!

My daft things are pretty similar to yours - except we limit our SWI to every other day because I heard that it gives better quality swimmers. I always do the bum-on-a-pillow afterwards but me and DH have long debates about whose pillow to use (I usually win Grin).

Funny thing the other day - I had read that you should put your legs in the air and do cycling movements with them... well I'm not sure that it worked but it had us in stitches!

goldmaple · 06/11/2010 00:16

purple I POAS today... BFN:( no symptoms really, except my nose has been stuffy but I think I go through this every month.

Daft things I do:) - make DH go on top (best position), lay down for 5 mins after SWI (supposed to be 30mins), try to SWi everyday during fertile period, and go very easy on lube because it kills sperm.

Lets hear everyone else's!

monkeybubbles · 05/11/2010 18:39

Hi Witches - I agree with you and Giraffe, this is DEFO going to be our month!

Gold did you make a decision about whether to wait or to go for it 12DPO?

Ok this could turn into a TMI question but I have to ask it - what daft strategies are you all using to increase the chances of your BD being successful?

goldmaple · 05/11/2010 14:52

Stats go like this:

TTC# - trying to conceive # what?
UCL - usual cycle length
Cycle # - how many cycles have you been trying
CCD - cycle day

DPO - days past ovulation.

I am 11DPO and bfn. don't think its too early so... will keep hoping for no reason:)

witches · 01/11/2010 18:55

Hi Goldmaple, Hmm how do i work out my stats? sorry new to all this! any help appreciated!

goldmaple · 01/11/2010 15:44

That's the right attitude giraffe!! I hope the higher dose of clomid works for you!

Hi witches! Welcome to the beach! If you post your stats I will add them to the list!

GiraffeAHolic · 01/11/2010 14:28

Hi all,

now onto CD43 guess they were right about the Clomid not working!

No signs of AF.

Got drs appt on Friday so another round of Norethiserone followed by higher dose of Clomid looks on the cards.

I'm not going to attempt everyones stats :)

THIS will be our month Grin

witches · 31/10/2010 18:53

6DPO for me! No signs except I felt slightly sick this morning (was out late last night so maybe just tired!)

Thinking of POAS next sat... that will be 12DPO or should I just wait until AF is due? Don't want the disapointment of a BFN

Purplelooby · 28/10/2010 00:12

Any news?
