OP posts:
SassySusan · 30/09/2010 21:43

Pehraps we should all try EMSp next month??

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 21:42

That's ok hippy I knew who ya meant Grin

(shakes her head knowingly) I should have bought that touch my flower thingy when I had the chance...

Yes - DH is very supportive - had a wee wobble this pm, when I said, we shouldnt' be doing this... and he said - yes, yes, we should... it's a big speech for a strong silent type Grin

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:27

Come on diege - I've looked in my 'How to make people be your bezzie mate' book and it defo says (and I quote) 'It is best to discuss their most intimate moments, particularly those that include hilarious images!'

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:25

Sorry sas - I spelled her name wrong - Catherine. x

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:24

I totally understand what you're saying sas. It would have been great to have had a positive bit of news to focus on though. But I'm sure you will soon.

But I do get that nothing will take away from your grief for Cathrine.

I still have the pompoms from when I was cheering on your shagging sessions Hmm -so I'll keep them for your BFP, honey Grin

Endo pain is getting worse - could mean anything hormonal is happening Confused.

Diege · 30/09/2010 21:23

x-post Sassy. I agree that the disappointment must be overwhelming - as you say it's what might have been that really hurts Sad. There are some positives there though as others have said, and so great that you have a supportive and understanding dh too xx Special delivery for you of (more) wine and a super-luxurious slanket in this season's finest polyester..

Diege · 30/09/2010 21:19

You're going to have to do more than sweet talk me with images of pre-filled capsules of pre-seed Hippy to get me back Grin

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 21:18

TBH, hippy can cope fine with either an early miscarriage or a chemical pg - we're just coping with the disapointment of what might have been.... doesn't matter what we call it... to be totally honest, my grief plane is still totally full with Catherine, it doesn't feel taht bad, but it would be lovely to have something positive happen to me for a change xx

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:15

We just popped up on the most active threads bit!

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:05

Yes, I like your version of fucking hell - very cute Smile.

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:05

Blimey sas - If we can't be feckin' emotional and miserable when AF turns up 4 days late then when the feck can we be.

You have every right to be pissed off big time. ((((()))))

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 21:03

oohh... my laptop is French and say éll instead of Hell- cute, eh?

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 21:02

sas In my bible by Toni whatshername she says 18 days of high temps means you are defo preg cos a LP can't be that long. So if you got to 17 it could go either way.

I guess you need to decide how you want to look at it.

i was disappinted last month and then I thought, "Well something obviously wasn't right with the embryo (if there was one), so in the long run this is easier to cope with."

I hope you are able to feel that way too.

I know you'll get preggers again, you just need to keep up that dedication.

You know now what the plan is and you're both singing from the same hymn sheet.

What am i gonna do, we never have that much sex in Herts - if I'm not preg we have to go back to that caravan Shock.

Hippy surveys diege, jolly, and sas on the sofa and says, "Ahhh there's my best mate!"

(My Dad always used to say that when both my sister and I were round for dinner, ahh my favorite daughter. ha ha.

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 21:02

Thanks jolls I really haven't been having the best day, have i Grin

Can we all be bezzie mates together perhaps?

I am a little sloshed and emotional Grin

I suppose we need to be positive.. cos I mean.. fucking éll - what else is there...

randomimposter · 30/09/2010 20:56

blimey a million X posts...

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 20:56

Oh jolls you are my extra special beach buddy.

(Phew, think I just got away with that one Grin)

randomimposter · 30/09/2010 20:53

oh sass am I allowed to say arse, bollocks and bugger. Cheesed off on your behalf. I think some definitions suggest early MC is anything before 6 weeks, and a ChemPG is one where you start bleeding within a few days of when period was due or even when period was due but you got a BFP because of early testing IYSWIM. Regardless of label it's pants. Sorry. I also had a really quick dip into the ChPox thread. So Angry and :(. Hope you are ok... big squeeze.

Hi all - hippy FX for you. Even though at one point I thought I was your bezzie mate, non? Sob .... so so SO fickle Grin..

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 20:53

hmm... well, I know that usually, in last 4 months anway, I get ov pain and then AF always comes on day 14 post ov. This month, af came on day 17 post ov. On day 14 post ov, I felt pg-tired - have been in bed at 9pm Eng time and exhuasted and today I am still up and no longer tired.

The pain started last week - about a week post ov - so it sort of sounds like embryo must have been implanted, as surely couldn't be 17 days post ov with a floaty embryo?

Fingers crossed for you hippy

galwaygal · 30/09/2010 20:53

gg crosses the room puts her arm around hippy and carefully guides her to the couch, there she then puts a glass of wine in hippy's hand and sits her down next to diege. Then gg sits carefully nearby incase they start fighting Wink

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 20:50

diege Have a great image of you using the pre-filled capsules of pre-seed in the past. (what is that old Paul Simon song? - Slip Sliding Away!)Grin

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 20:48

crossed posts GG. I also need the virtual cakes - unfortunately i keep eating the real ones too - oops!

diege can I be your friend again please? (hippy twists her foot around and looks at the floor pathetically)Grin

hippychick66 · 30/09/2010 20:45

As far as I know CP and very early M/C are the same thing. How long was your Luteal Phase? (days between Ov & AF).

I'm guesing it's difficult to say cos you weren't charting so can't be sure how long your temp stayed up or exactly when you ovulated.

It may be a bit like what happened with me last month. I had loads of symtoms and my temp stayed up but then all of a sudden - AF poked her feckin' nose in.

I took it as maybe I'd got as far as making an embryo and it had failed to implant. (which in the long run is better than it implanting and then losing it's grip). But that was only my interpretation of events.

I think the positive things for you to focus on are - you know you ovulate, you know you probably have a decent Luteal phase and you know you can do the SME plan without it killing you both Grin

I truelly wish you all the best for next month and am so sorry you've had this disappointment.

I will take the baton, but suspect I will be handing it on (whose next???).

I am on day 24 tomorrow (I hate the last bit of the 2WW) my boobs are very odd but those buggers fooled me last month), I do feel crap but I also have a bit of endo pain which could signify AF is jetting in soon.

Just can't say at the moment. Will keep you informed.

Love to all.
xx

galwaygal · 30/09/2010 20:43

sassy - Sad sorry to see you at cd1. As you asked, chemical pregnancy and early miscarriage are used interchangably. Chemical pregnancy and early miscarriage are used before 5 weeks before anything can be seen on a scan, after something is seen on scan then it is just an early miscarriage. I prefer the term chemical pregnancy, as it recognises that you were pregnant, miscarriage is such an negative word to me. Any way, I will join you in a glass of wine in the snug, are you cold, shall I throw another log on the fire?

Deige - you can come an sit with sas and I if you like since hippy is being your fickle friend at the moment! Grin

Curly - sorry can't join you on the no virtual cakes, if I can't have them in real life, I simply have to have them here Hmm.

As you will see from the stats, I am back to the beginning, but I was NOT pregnant this month Grin at last! Confused

Sorry - forgot to ask all you wise ladies... do you think it sounds like a chemical pregnancy or an early miscarriage - or are they the same thing?

SassySusan · 30/09/2010 18:14

Thank you ladies. I am ok. DH and I were both disappointed. I had been asleep in bed at 9pm English time on monday, tuesday and last night... so he had sort of noticed... this is very, very unlike me to be so tired... so I was sort of getting convinced I was pg.

On the upside, we have been analysising. It is positive we conceived at all. DH thinks our timing was better this month - our first using opks and EMSp, so we reckon we will do the plan again next month. I think on previous months, we had maybe only got 2 out of the 3 important days, instead of 3.

Onwards and upwards!

Hands baton over to Hippy

Go Hippy, Go Hippy....

Right - now where's my wine?
