Morning ladies,

Sorry haven't posted in a while.

vnewmummy - so sorry to hear your sad news. Am thinking of you and your family - please feel free to express emotions on here if it helps.

Boba - glad to hear you had a good holiday and relaxed. We have a holiday coming up and I can't wait!!

Keziah - good luck for today.

Hi to all the newbies on here.

As for me, had an appointment at the FC this week and am going to have a hycosy (if they can fit me in - seems like a nightmare trying to get an appointment). Dr also said that our PCT rules re NHS funding mean that if you have "undiagnosed" infertility, you don't get any funding for IVF. Bit shocked about that. Anyway, did manage to get the breakdown of FSH/LH results which my GP never got from the hospital. FSH/LH are good but apparently I have high oestrogen so tests were repeated for that. Will keep you posted.

At least it's Friday ladies - hope everyone has a great weekend!

Missyraines · 24/09/2010 10:45

Vnewmummy how awful. I feel so sad for you. There's nothing one can say apart from how sorry we are. You know we all want good news for everyone on here and are here to share good and bad times. Take time to heal.

Also to ljg Poor you. Such bad luck. But FX for a positive outcome soon.

I thought I wasn't going to peak this month but did yesterday on day 25. Now that is late. My cycle is all over the place. Although I guess thats the beauty of the CBFM. Seeing and charting our cycles.

I've one more 'away' job (for a week from Mon) then no more! Roll on 5th Oct when I start a sensible job!

Keziahhopes · 23/09/2010 22:43

ljg so sorry to hear your sad news. Encouraging to hear of your proactive gp.

Hi Boba - great hol, am pleased for you!

Hi essence, those were kind words indeed ; hope they bring comfort to the girls. So, do share: how DID you manage to conceive your precious son then? All tips gratefully received and put into practice by us childless ones! I'm so desperate at the minute, I'll try anything!

essenceofSES · 23/09/2010 20:31

Hello!

Sorry for going AWOL for a few weeks. Just been so very busy. Popped on here for the first time in ages tonight and sorry to see some sad news.

vnewmummy - I had 2 mmc before DS so can understand a little of how you are feeling. It was the most devastating thing to happen. Go easy on yourself and take lots of time for grief and starting the healing process. My thoughts are with you ((((hugs))))

ljg - ((((hugs)))) for you too. Hope you managed to make DS's birthday a good one despite your hurt.

Hello to everyone else

rosieposey · 23/09/2010 17:49

ljg so sorry to hear that it wasnt a sticky one for you. Really hope that the GP gets to grips and finds out what the possible cause may be.

I agree Stormbird its all so sad isnt it - really makes me realise what a fickle thing mother nature is :(

vnewmummy · 23/09/2010 17:08

Thank you all so much xx

StormBird · 23/09/2010 13:08

So sorry ljg - I agree with what fedup said. I hope you can come to terms with things soon and your GP sounds very helpful. XX

CD19 for me - eventually got my Peaks yesterday and today but the monitor is still asking me to test!! Have a stabbng pain right behind my bellybutton which is rather annoying don't think this means anything tho!

I feel really sad about the news on this thread just recently..........

fedupttcnosuccess · 23/09/2010 12:58

Hi ljg, so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard, but try and focus on today and your special time with your darling son. His birthday deserves more attention than this "blip": as it will be known as when you have your next baby. Do not reflect on this bad luck, it is but fleeting, fingers crossed. Happy to hear you have a helpful gp, it makes life that much more bearable. When you celebrate your ds's birthday, make sure YOU celebrate it as the day YOU became a mum. It your day as well as his. Tomorrow you can reflect and grieve, in any way you want. Today, you need to be brave and it IS hard. I feel for you hon. Take care of yourself. Hope you have lots of support in RL xxx

ljg72 · 23/09/2010 12:04

Hello everyone, hope all ok?

I've started spotting today, have high temp and bad cramps, so just waiting for it kick in and come away...kinda new It would happen as my pregnancy symptoms vanished two days ago and have been having lower back pain like last time.
Thankfully my gp is excellent and has already put the wheels in motion to try and find out whats going on? firstly bloods for hcg levels( 30 yesterday) and because I'm rhesus neg, he's checking for anti bodies...may just need more anti-D ?.

Really shitty day for all this to happen too! it's my little boys 6th birthday!

Take care ladies...probably going to have a break from ttc for a while, and try and find out why this is happening again x
