Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is having a good weekend? I've been feeling a little fed up to be honest, mainly because I peed on a stick about 9 or 10 dpo and it was negative. i have made a promise to myself that i shall stop doing that until i miss a period. it also strikes me that some of these companies probably produce these so called early test as a lot of silly impatient girls like me buy them and then get the period anyway. I was thinking yesterday, how would we have all coped before the days of HPT and even blood tests, you would literally just have to wait and see! wish i could be really relaxed and just let nature takes it's course, but I cant, and im sucking the fun out of it. Sad

Sorry for the grumpy post xxx

Hi ladies, I'm taking myself off the list for a while. Still TTC but not wanting to monitor and count so closely anymore. Not leaving the thread though.

Lychees · 19/11/2010 17:13

Keziah sorry about BFN.

Not you aswell Boba. I hope I haven't dragged everybody down. Keeping my fingers crossed that your results show you have ovulated.

Ilovekittyelise, always a good idea to try to focus on the good things.

Hope you all have great weekends. I'm at work until six so only an hour to go ... yippee!

Ilovekittyelise · 19/11/2010 16:18

lets look on the bright side guys; when you're not pregnant you can drink wine on a friday night Smile

boba82 · 19/11/2010 16:06

Hi guys

Lychees little & Ilovekitty I'm joining your club. Not feeling hopeful that the Clomid's worked for me Sad I POAS yesterday & BFN but don't feel like AF is coming either. Mentally cannot take another 60+ day cycle. I'll get my urines results on Mon so they'll hopefully tell me if I ovulated or not.

Keziah sorry you got a BFN hun Sad

We're all a bit down ATM aren't we?

Hugs to all x

Hope I got these write it's early! Please shout if I made mistakes.

Lots of ladies at top of list are beyond usual cycle length, let us know if its anything other than a long cycle and we need to update.

Hope everyones doing ok. I stupidly POAS on a test that claims to work 6 days before your missed period....its 7 days, and shock horror it was negative. I have just been feeling so sick, trying not to even think about it, but still feeling so sick and tired that I thought it cant be in my mind. at this point who knows. my husband thinks the whole thing should be fun. i tried to explain that after what I have been through with kitty its just not really fun at all.

AF is due on CD30/31. I'm not feeling very positive at the mo.

Keziahhopes · 18/11/2010 18:43

Lychees I stupidly took a test, bfn obviously! not done that for so long! Hope you and littlefan have better news and don't do what I did.

Littlefan - Mexico, wow - enjoy!

littlefan · 18/11/2010 16:36

Same here Lychees. I am due around then too...I am actually on CD 26 today.
I am not feeling v positive...but at least when AF finally does turn up I will be on holiday with hubby in Mexico ready to start all over again!
Would be great to have some good news to celebrate and report on my return on 13th Dec!
Fingers crossed for all of us.

PS - is anyone struggling with the thought of not drinking much/at all at christmas?

Noticed my stats were wrong so just updated them and corrected your CD, too IloveKittyElise.

AF is due on CD30/31. I'm not feeling very positive at the mo.

IloveKittyElise, the stats are just updated by the first person to remember each day.

Porth, of course you can join. Sometimes, the CBFM can miss the LH surge; say, if its quite short and happens in the afternoon. Or sometimes we don't ovulate every cycle but its likely that can be kick started again with meds. So all hope is not lost.

How is everyone else?

porth · 18/11/2010 13:18

Hi, can I join?
Oh boy, I'm not holding out much hope....I'm 43, turning 44 in December. Been using the Clearblue for a while now; in fact got pregant last year on the second month of using it (YaY!!), then miscarried two months later (Boo!!)
Spent this year kind of losing the will to do it again, kept losing my bottle thought I was too old, etc, But here I am trying again (I know I shouldn't have wasted all that time at my age, but sometimes you just chicken out and stop trying)
But....this month I didn't even get a peak! It's ony had one bar every day till today day 21 the M starts flashing! Does that mean I'm no longer ovulating, and I've missed my chance at being a MUm again? (I have a 5yr old boy)
Bit sad if so...
Maybe it's just a blip....

Ilovekittyelise · 18/11/2010 12:58

im on day 21 today...

how does it work with the updates how do i know when its my turn?

Morning! Just thought I'd try and get on again quickly and update the stats!

littlefan - welcome! Sorry for your chemical pregnancy earlier in the year. Many of us have unfortunately experienced the rollercoaster. I'm lucky to have an 18mo DS but before him I had 2 mmc. Let's hope we all get our BFPs soon!

Keziah - hello!

Have woken up feeling a bit better this morning so hoping DS and I have a good day.

Hi littlefan just andded you. Good you know roughly when you ovulate - hope you find the monitor helps you (I just like knowing what day I am on thesedays - can't believe I lived so much of my life without htis vital infoGrin).

There is a link somewhere to all abbreviations. BFP is the important one - big fat positive, ie pregnant!! Hope your stay here much shorter than mine (although lovely as the people are here...)

MissLolita nice to hear from you ... let us know how your scan goes (how many hearbeats etc) it helps encourage me here!!

Lychees - my progesterone (day 21ish test) was low also - 21-24 but when they did the transvaginal scan (before HSG) they saw I had ovulated despite those numbers. They say it can take 2yrs so ... onwards and upwards.

ses - waves hello to! Gosh what a torrid time, hope you feel better soon.x

littlefan · 16/11/2010 22:18

hi
i'm new to this.

My stats are TTC#1, Cycle 9, CBFM cycle 2 , age 31, UCL 32-38, CD (is this cycle day?) 26.

What do all the abbreviations stand for? like BFP? I can guess but want to check I have it right..Blush

Getting frustrated. Had chemical preg in July and was so disappointed - so bought the monitor to help. It worked for my friend after to cycles - she found out she ovulated on day 9!! For me it's around day 21! But boy do I hate peeing on sticks. Hopefully it will be worth it soon.

Waiting now - let the obsessive mind messing begin...

good luck everyone...xxx

Things ok here but got the usual round of illnesses - DS had a really bad bout of tonsillitis that saw him have a trip to hospital. His 10days of ABs is up tomorrow and thankfully he's back to his usual mischievous self! I on the other hand am full of cold and all bunged up!

Lychees - I chart and use CBFM and use OPKs Hmm all the while it doesn't stress me out and get me toooooo obsessed, Ifigure no harm in it!

MissLolita - lovely to hear from you. I hope your 12 weeks comes round quickly and you have a straightforward pregnancy :)

KC and Keziah - I'm also a lover of a good period drama. That version of Pride and Prejudice actually had someone that was the year below me at school in it as Kitty!

MissyRaines - glad your cycle is getting more regular. Sounds like the job change is helping?

Hello everyone I've not managed to name check. I promise to try and be a better poster and keep up a bit more!

Ilovekittyelise, I'm not normally a symptom spotter but last month I was convinced that I was going to get my BFP as I felt sick and tired [and it was 19DPO before AF appeared]. Then, other ladies have had no symptoms at all even though they had symptoms in previous pregnancies so the only way to know is to test [when AF is due/overdue]. Hang on in there, hun.

Thanks for the reassurance, PinkCustard.

Keziah, we've had SA and [two sets of] bloods done on the NHS and then another SA, an AMH and HSG privately. The only thing that was flagged was low progesterone [v. low the first time, only 23 the second] but both my GP and consultant said that everything else pointed to ovulation so thought it was timing of the test or stress-related.

In the back of my mind, I worry that I'm not ovulating [I do get a peak every month on my CBFM and my cycle is fairly regular]. I wonder whether its worth charting to check Confused?

Anyone had any possible 'signs' recently? I've been feeling quite tired and nauseous and very insulin resistant like I was with Kitty but I could well be imagining myself pregnant - you know how it is! this next week is going to be a long one!
