I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

Hi all. Sorry haven't been on much. I'm coming to the end of the 2WW and symptom spotting like mad (it is driving me in-sane, i tell you!).

battery I got all choked up at your post about your DH holding you whilest you sobbed. It must be so shit for them as well, what can they say or do to take the pain away and of course they've lost their dreams too. It's so nice that he was able to be with you and support you, he sounds scrummy Grin

viv LOL - darn those Take that boys!

digi good luck for the scan today, can't wait to hear all is ok for you.

VivClicquot · 26/10/2010 10:33

Take That have just gone and ruined my day. Sigh. I know I should be happy given the prevailing circumstances and all that, but for fuck's sake, I wait fifteen fucking years for them to tour with Robbie and they set the dates for three weeks after I'm due. The bastards. Grin

littlemiss72 · 26/10/2010 10:02

Morning all,

How you feeling today digi? been thinking of you.
Good to hear you have been taken good care of battery xx

Feeling a little less hopeful today myself, I keep looking for signs - had a little cramping yesterday, still feel like I'm on a merry go round of sickness. Who knows what's going on!

On the supplements front I have been taking the Tommy's pregnancy tablets, they are like horse tablets mind you! Grin Yummm to purple opal fruits!

Last day off work today, not quite sure how my body will take to the morning commute by boat at 8am.. Confused at least work is very busy and I'm hoping it will help me keep my mind off things a little.

Love to all x

VivClicquot · 26/10/2010 09:14

Morning Freezing lovely x

I was on Pregnacare Conception, and on the cycle that I fell pg, had taken Evening Primrose capsules up until ov, and zinc capsules for the whole cycle. That was the only cycle that I'd taken those extra supplements so not sure whether it was a fluke or not, really! DH was on Pregnacare for Boys and Zinc capsules as well. (They were the Seven Seas zinc capsules with extra Vit C which meant they tasted like purple opal fruits! Much nicer than the Pregnacare ones!)

Freezingmyarseoff · 25/10/2010 22:38

Battery I've been thinking of you particuarly. Your DP sounds like he's been brilliant. You need it.

Viv your holiday sounds fab. Oohh a TT announcement. I must get organised, I've always wanted to see them, even back in the day.

Ladyboo [hshock] you scared me [hgrin]

Double congrats to littlemiss glad the day went well.

I wondered if can any of you recommend a new strategy for supplements for me. I have been taking folic acid for what seems forever and my supply has finally run out. I want to take something a bit more helpful, but not sure what. I'm not very sure if I'm ovulating every month at the moment. Was wondering about pregnacare or Zita West or something like that. What are your suggestions?

I feel like I'm just emerging from a fog of building work and can finally start thinking about the rest of life.

Big waves to everyone else, Magic, Cheepz, Pretty, Digi, CaribouMoo, Urd, Clareanna and all you lovely ladies.

batteryhen · 25/10/2010 19:53

Just realised there is a :( face when there should have been a :) face for the scans - obviously I am a typing bufoon (sp!!)

clareana thanks for looking in on me .... am not doing too badly today xx

clareanna · 25/10/2010 19:45

battery just popping on to see how you are doing? glad your DP has been around for a while to look after you.

magic sorry to hear you've got the dreaded lurgy. Am dreading getting something due to my love all things pharmaceutical Grin
please let us know how magicsis gets on x

right I'm off to catch up on downton abbey the ironing - the glamour!

batteryhen · 25/10/2010 19:30

Hello ladies - thank you for all your kind thoughts and wishes

viv - thank you hun, I do feel like we have bounced along a bit together but I will be stalking watching you right up till the point you have your little one - so keep giving the updates :)

ladyboo you are right - I feel differently about this mmc. I was 2 days from having my 12 week scan - which would have been nearly 13 weeks when I had a small bleed. I was just starting to think things would be ok - and my god am I angry, and sad, and bewildered. The unfair thing is I had a scan at 8 +6 and all was fine - when I had the scan last week - baby measuerd 8+6 - so it must have happened right around the time of the scan. How cruel.

urd Its so shit to find out on a scan like that so hugs to you too xx

cariboumoo am hoping to follow your lead and fall pg straight away :) My friend had an erpc and fell pregnant within a month so I am hoping for one of those please!

magic glad your beans doing well - looks like your sis will be busy tonight :)

even though I am going through all this crap - my DP is fab, and I am so lucky. He has gone back to germany (which was hard)today but he is back next week. He has cooked, cleaned, washed, shopped, and held me whilst I have bawled my head off. A true gem - and its his birthday today too :)

I am really worried that my story will worry orhers, but it really shouldn't. Enjoy your pregnancies and scans :)

:( Good luck for all that have scans coming up - I still love to hear all the positive news and healthy bean stories !! xx

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 25/10/2010 18:15

Mwah [hsmile] x

HeadlessLadyBoo · 25/10/2010 15:17

Oh 'tis I, by the way, can't remember if I've taken off my halloween mask here yet - LadyBee. Boo! did I scare you?

HeadlessLadyBoo · 25/10/2010 15:16

battery I'm so sorry. It's just the worst news, I'm sorry there's nothing more to say. Except that we're here. We understand, and speaking from my own experience, don't expect to feel the same about this miscarriage as you did your previous one this year. It'll hit you in a different way.

digi really hoping that all goes well with you. Symptoms aren't to be relied on but you know that, and you know your body too so am just crossing fingers that everything works out.

I've been AWOL a bit - not in a great mental place and also attempting to pottytrain DS (2.6) I'm not entirely sure I've got the right mental attitude but at least it's something else to care about. Hmm
Had a blow-up at DH this morning. Things are a bit rubbish between us and not being helped, I think, by my concentration on ttc. Probably I need to back off a bit, although the moment I say that to myself, my initial instinct is 'probably he needs to get over himself and stop being such an arse' Grin

VivClicquot · 25/10/2010 13:46

Hiya lovelies x

Well I'm back after my week away, and what a lovely relaxing week it was. Had a couple of days of lousy weather on the Mon & Tue, but the rest of the week was gloriously hot and sunny.

moo - I did a big 'YAY' when I saw you'd had a good scan. Am so pleased for you. Have you got another one coming up around the 12 week mark?

congrats to littlemrs too - what fab news :)

battery - I know I said it on the other thread but I'm genuinely devastated for you, especially as I feel like we've held each others' hands throughout this so far. Hope you've had a quiet weekend and that DH has been looking after you xx

bb - I'm another one who hasn't tried the baby aspirin, despite me actually buying two packets worth after my first mmc. However, I fell pg right away so never cracked them open and then kind of forgot I had them this time around.

Hope all my other buddies are okay - and an extra big squeeze to pv, jolls, allthe8s and cheepz. Have missed you guys. :)

pretty - hope you're going to be tuned in to the TT announcement tomorrow at 10am. Sources tell me it's confirmation of tour dates - although I already know that the Manchester gigs are to be held at the City of Manchester Stadium, rather than Old Trafford. I just hope tickets don't go on sale on Friday, as my best mate and partner-in-Take-That-crime is in the Canaries this week, so the pressure will be on me to get tickets - yet I don't bloody know if I'll be able to go to it yet! Tsk.

In pg news, I have no news. moo - it's lovely you think I'm super optimistic and positive! If only you could have seen the major wobble I had first thing this morning after a rather bleak dream, which has now convinced me that we should put off 'going public' for a wee while longer for fear of it jinxing things. Sigh. I wish I wasn't so frickin' superstitious.

Love to all

xxxx

CaribouMoo · 25/10/2010 12:30

Digi, BB is right - this also happened to me and has happened since. I sometimes wonder if I am mentally blocking out symptoms in my terror because they have reappeared after scans. Before my first scan at 8 weeks I was utterly convinced it was all over. This time again at the 10 week scan i hadn't felt sick for about a week. Then this morning I had to get up before the alarm went off because I felt so sick. I know its hard not to lose faith but try your best until you get to your scan and hopefully you will be pleasantly suprised as i was. Its absolutely fucking horrible these first weeks with the paranoia and negative thoughts. Just hang in there as best you can

Congrats LittleMrs!! Glad you enjoyed your day and are feeling lousy. Hope you can keep your nerve too.

BB the asprin is about the only thing I haven't tried so can't comment. Is it one of those things that can't do any harm? If so i would give it a bash. I know this time I felt that i had to do something different so got the progesterone and kept taking Agnus Castus. Perhaps just the thought of doing something helps your mental state too. Glad you both indulged yourselves and had fun x

Battery been thinking about you, hope you are coping. Drop us a line when you feel up to it x

What are you saying to it Jolls? Where is everyone else? Its been very quiet here.

littlemiss72 · 25/10/2010 11:02

Morning Ladies! Hope your all doing well.

digi know the feeling, keep positive woman. x

battery hope your getting lots of hugs x

Wedding went very well, glad to be home today as I've been feeling a little sick to say the least. I managed to avoid all the champagne and DH was under strict orders to drink it for me. He's had a constant hangover bless him Grin

Much like digi I'm looking for symptoms all day every day. Despite the fact my boobies are like red hot pokers to touch and I can smell fish at 400 yards.. every twitch is worrying me.

Home for a couple of days, real honeymoon not until christmas due to work commitments. Under the circumstances pretty wise me thinks.

Happy Monday to all x

barrenbrook · 25/10/2010 06:26

Sorry, posted without checking through, battery how are you honey? hope you're doing ok? Thinking of you x

barrenbrook · 25/10/2010 06:24

Morning!

littlemiss I don't remember if I said a big woo hoo for you or not, so if I didn't, here it is, woo hoo! Grin

digi hang in there sweetie, symptoms come and go as I'm sure you know. Moo had a loss of symptoms early on and had a wobble but all was and still is well so try not to panic (too much). Only you know your own body and how things are feeling though so I won't bleat on! Fingers tightly crossed for you for scan tomorrow x

jolls and urd hey lovelies how you doin?

moo read the news of your scan on other thread, splendid news, sooooooooo pleased for you x

Was a top weekend in the bb house and mr bb enjoyed himself lots which is good. We spent lots of money we don't have but it was worth it and well needed.

Just a quick question, in preparation in case I was to get a BFP again this month, do you think taking baby aspirin as a precaution from now til RTD is due would
do any harm?

Have a lovely day all x

digitalgirl · 24/10/2010 22:42

I'm around.

jolls how was your holiday?

bb hope mr bb had a great birthday

littlemiss double congrats for getting married too!

Im not doing very well tbh, symptoms have pretty much disappeared. Apart from the wrong type of cramping. Feels so horribly familiar. Have brought repeat scan forward for Tuesday but am not at all hopeful. Am 7 weeks today. Furthest I've got since ds. But haven't felt at all right since Thursday.

Really don't know how many times I can go through this. DH being very supportive but I'm so miserable.

urd · 24/10/2010 21:12

Hi jolls i was thinking that, how is everyone?

randomimposter · 24/10/2010 16:17

hippychick66 · 21/10/2010 10:15

ps. battery was just reading your post on the grads thread, i am so sorry to see that your DH isn't there at the moment - I hope he gets home asap. I also got to just before my 12 week scan with my MMC and I felt it was a bitter blow - so near etc. I remember how awful i felt and i really do feel for you and send you my love. xxx

hippychick66 · 21/10/2010 10:07

battery So sorry to hear your news. It's so bloody shit isn't it, honey? Come back and have a good old rant and a swear when you're ready.

pretty Love the just keep shagging song!

owlshoes · 21/10/2010 10:05

Battery massive hugs, am so very sorry - hope you are okay :(

PV I am beginning to think the just keep swimming approach is the only one that is remotely sane - and I know exactly what you mean about putting things on hold as I am really trying not to do that myself and failing.

Littlemiss hope you have a splendid day tomorrow :)

youremindmeofthebat · 21/10/2010 08:58

Oh battery. So sorry to hear that. Hope you've got some support around you.

littlemiss72 · 21/10/2010 08:55
