I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

Helloooooooo ??? Where is everyone?? :)

Just poppin by to say hello to everyone...especially to misspritty :) who has been very kind to me:)
It has now been a week since my ERPC - bleeding all stopped, accupuncture tomorrow, trying to produce an egg for next week as DP is back at the weekend - trying to kick my body into just producing one teeny tiny weeny egg. How hard can it be??:(

PrettyMyraMains · 28/10/2010 08:29

Getdown hello, I recognise you too from out and about .
I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you have lots of love and support in RL.
It's sad you've found this little corner of MN, but these threads have kept me sane ish over the last year.

Viv dear, dear ,dear. How very rude of them!
I'll be going to That London to see them and MIL is fx sorting tickets out.
Get tickets, leave MiniClicq wiv DH close by.

Jolls hoooouge hugs, now, now. You are not 134.
I have told you a million times not to exaggerate.Grin
When do you get some results back?

SnotTheball hope you're feeling better on the lurgy front and thing 1 & thing 2 are being nice and kind.

How are me buds Moofdoof and Baz doing?
I'm missing you all. X

Update on moi, we are going to wait till after Christmas and New year till we TTC again which guarantees I'll be diffed next month.
I need to focus on work for a bit and I also want to enjoy Christmas eating and drinking what ever I like.
I had a 28 day cycle too this month so as my bod can't give me proper set dates of possible ovulation I shall be abusing it somewhat over the festive season.[hgrin]

Hello to Owl (love the name) Nicks , Clareanna Hippy , LittleMiss , Freezing
BatteryChook squeezes if you're reading x
Ooo, must shift, I should have known.....
I can not do quickies. [hsmile]

hippychick66 · 27/10/2010 22:33

Not stupid at all getdown. I've had 2 MC's this year and before that(10 & 7 years ago) I had 2 healthy pregnancies.

I never imagined i would have an MC because the 2 earlier pregnancies were so uncomplicated. AND I was 43 when i had my first MC so I really should have been more aware of the likelyhood.Hmm

You just never think it will happen to you - I totally understand. Take care. X

GetDownYouWillFall · 27/10/2010 16:39

thanks owlgiblets and hippychick66 for replying.

Have posted on the other thread too.

First MC. I have a lovely 3yo DD. I naively thought this couldn't happen to me.

hippychick66 · 27/10/2010 16:13

Hello getdown. Sorry to hear your sad news. Is this your first Mc, first preg etc????

I'm fairly new to this thread but they are a lovely bunch and very supportive.

I love your name by the way - how many times have i said that in my lifetime??

I am on day 24 now and every wipe is a nightmare (IYSWIM) Will AF arrive or wont she - ahhhh the joys of the 2WW Grin.

Thinking of you digi

owlgiblets · 27/10/2010 14:41

Welcome Getdown and sorry to hear about your mc. You may also want to visit the lovely ladies on the main thread (this is a bit of an offshoot) - it's called something like "MC and trying again, pack your cake..."

Hope you're feeling okay soon - take good care of yourself.

GetDownYouWillFall · 27/10/2010 13:23

Hi all, hope you don't mind me sloping in.

Am MC-ing today, at 5 weeks Sad Sad Sad

So upset and disappointed.

randomimposter · 27/10/2010 10:29

Hi all
So sorry digi you're having this worry - am crossing everything that all turns out well.

how lovely for your parents viv; they'll be SO excited. Another good scan magic that's a big phew.

Have been lurking a bit, but hardly posting. Partly because the halloween emoticons remind me that I've been on here a year with no blimmin baby to show for it [hangry]. I know that's not as long as some/many but I AM 134... [hsad]. And I've been really affected by the so sad stillbirth on the grads thread - Louise is so brave, I don't know what I'd do in that situation.

The private MC clinic I saw last week are doing some blood tests next week, and a day 2 scan and test next month. She did say I needn't not TTC in the meantime, but I think I missed the window as I think I might have ovulated on day10, and to quote hippy the troops were absolutely NOT in place. (Had pain and sore boobs for the first time ever midcycle.... almost as if the old body is saying C'mon let's get on with it, tick tock).

anyway must go and build duplo with DS...

I hope everyone's doing ok. Sorry to be so UnJollster

VivClicquot · 27/10/2010 09:38

Morning gang

Digi - Like everyone else, I'm so sorry you're having such a worrying time. I'll keep everything crossed for you that everything works out, but remember we're all here for you if you need a rant or a friendly ear.

As for my TT dilemma. I have to buy tickets anyway for my best mate who is on hol on Friday, so I'm going to get a couple extra and keep them as an insurance policy for this pregnancy - ie. if I have a ticket, I'm bound not to be able to go. Wink And if it means sending DH to tout them outside the City of Manc stadium on the day before, then so be it.

However, in other interesting news, I got a call last night from my sister who, would you believe it, is due to have her second baby three days after me. (Or 5, based on my NHS dates). Mental. She's already told our parents, so they're going to fall off their chair when I tell them at the weekend that they'll (hopefully) be getting two new grandchildren in a week... Grin

Love to all
xxxx

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 27/10/2010 09:37

Just quickly popping in, big hugs for Digi I hope the next 7 days fly by for and I am sorry your scan wasn't more positive. Here for you when you need to pass the time xxx

Had scan yesterday and twins both fine, growing well and no signs of TTTS which is good. Back in 3 weeks for anomaly scan. The twins were facing each other having a boxing match Grin

Magicsis having emcs this morning so will report back later (and catch up properly!!!).

xxxxxx

littlemiss72 · 27/10/2010 06:30

Morning all,

digi so sorry you're having all this worry. I think the difference between 6+3 and 7+2 is probably tiny so would try to be hopeful. Big hug for you, hopefully 7 days will pass as quickly as possible.

I'm up at the crack of dawn, waved DH off on his travels again this morning so home alone Wink Looking forward to going back into to work today - secretly hoping it will take my mind off feeling so sick!

Not sure I recall feeling quite this green around the gills last time Confused was watching masterchef last night and even the look of fish made me nauseous.

viv get the tickets and see how you feel nearer the time, worst case I'm sure you'll have a few will ladies on here wanting to take your place Grin

Love to all, have a great day x

Freezingmyarseoff · 26/10/2010 22:45

Digi what a worrying time for you. My only suggestion is to try and distract yourself as much as possible. A trip to the cinema or getting some DVDs in. They may help pass a few hours. We're all here for you in the meantime.

Viv I agree with Clareanna, just go for it and order some tickets. I'm willing to go in your place if you can't face it at the last minute. Grin

Thanks for the supplement recommendations. The zinc ones sound the best. A trip to the chemist is on the list for tomorrow.

CaribouMoo · 26/10/2010 20:59

Oh Digi, that's rotten news. I'm sorry you are being put through so much worry. The week will be an awful wait, just hoping everything works out for you. Have you asked around on the other threads if anyone has a positive story after something similar happening.

Take care pal, I'll be thinking about you.

clareanna · 26/10/2010 19:56

magic16s hope all good for you too

clareanna · 26/10/2010 19:56

digi big hug for you. Wish we could make the next 7 days pass quickly for you - we're here for handholding and lots of positive thoughts coming your way x

viv assuming you're not 2 weeks late Grin I say book a ticket in seated area, miss the support acts and you should be fine for the main event! Instruct dh to park himself and baby in a nearby cafe so you can pop out if necessary, otherwise get cracking with some expressing as soon as you can to ensure there's a feed. Where there's a will theres a way!!! Now I just need to work out how to get my tickets at work on Friday!

digitalgirl · 26/10/2010 17:41

Thanks. I asked about whether the heartbeat could pick up or if the growth might catch up and she wouldn't even say it could she just said research has shown that at this stage nothing is conclusive.

I don't know how I'm supposed to get through the next 7 days. I'm praying for a miracle.

hippychick66 · 26/10/2010 17:14

digi so sorry you're having all this worry. I think the difference between 6+3 and 7+2 is probably a teeny tiny milimeter so would try to be hopeful. I don't know much about the heartbeat thing. Did they say it could pick up? There are no words I can say to calm you, short of , "I have invented a time machine - get in!"

I hope the next week is ok for you and that next week brings better news. I've had 2 MC's as well and I know it is impossible to think about anything else for more than a second. Lots of love to you and yours. ((())) X

batteryhen · 26/10/2010 16:04

digi - have replied to you on the other thread my lovely xx I am sure someone will be along with some good success stories soon xx

owls squish gratefully received thank you :) love the name - think I might change mine to batterybat for halloween [hgrin]

Today I have organised a reflexology appointment for next week, a consultation with an accupuncturist, and a follow up with the GP tomorrow. Really - I sound like I have been busy, but this has been done from the sofa whislt cramming dairy milk into my mouth xx

owlgiblets · 26/10/2010 15:47

digi :( measurements are notoriously inaccurate at this stage, aren't they? Really, really hope the scan next week gives you better news.

Magic8 Fingers crossed for your scan today also.

Big squish for Battery , hope you're okay x

(Ps. replace -giblets with -shoes, obviously.)

barrenbrook · 26/10/2010 15:33

digi I haven't had previous experience of this so can't be alot of help I'm afraid, what did they say at hospital? Anything reassuring or was it just a case of wait and see? Try not to drive yourself crazy googling everything though (((hugs))) x

digitalgirl · 26/10/2010 15:18

Not good news. Baby only measures 6+3, should be 7+2. Hb very slow. They want to re-scan me next week. They won't do anything while there's a heartbeat even if it's slow. I have to wait for the hb to stop before they'll consider management.

Anyone have this and go on to have a successful pregnancy?

barrenbrook · 26/10/2010 14:27

Oh feck, I'm rubbish, good luck for scan auntiesmagicsnotball xxx

barrenbrook · 26/10/2010 14:25

Hello too to moo and littlemrs as I just realised I missed you x

barrenbrook · 26/10/2010 14:23

Hello, just popped in to see if there was any news from digi..... Hope all is well love.

viv sucks bout TT but I think the trip to London would be good! Sure petit bebe wouldn't mind and Daddy can have a bonding day? Once in a lifetime and I'm led to believe it's a one off tour with the 5 of them. Easy for me to say though! I got the yummy purple zinc supplements too after you mentioned them a while back.

hippy good symptoms? Hope so!

soontobeauntiemagicsnotball sorry you have lurgy, get well soon. Hope all goes well with your sister! Very exciting x

ladyboo (((( hugs )))) for you as you are feeling pants, hope things start to feel better for you soon and that you and DH are ok now.

I'm feeling a bit fed up at the mo, I dunno if it's the sudden change in the weather, it's pissing down here. Or it might be the couple that have just sat on the
seats next to me on a fucking empty train with a small baby that the woman is now breastfeeding. I should get up and move but I feel rude and it'll look like I object to her breastfeeding. Fucking Bollocks.

Hello to battery, pretty, jolls, clareanna and freezing and anyone else I've missed x
