I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

all grads most welcome to pop in... always nice to feel slim for a bit next to you fatties GrinWink

MrsPV I really don't have the knees for short skirts do I....?

Morning all. Stooopid phone-in on 5live this morning about fertility/childfreeness etc. Plus DS wobbly at nursery when I left him (dunno why, he's usually fine) and it would have been my dear old dad's birthday today. I still have boxes to unpack: every time I turn round another blimmin cat has done a poo or found another irritating place to sit or stretch out and shed fur.

Then DP asks which of the boxes/bags waiting to go to ILs for storage we won't need for sure in the next 9 months or so. "Well all the baby clothes and stuff, in fact we might never need those". Cue sobbing and sniffling. I'm NOT in a good place.

Except Sainsburys had G&B on offer and I stocked up on lots of bars. Might just hide under the duvet and eat them all.

Actually thinking back, my sixth form common room wasn't that wood-pannelled. There was an extension bit with breeze blocks, which one of the boys managed to wedge a plastic school chair high up onto the wall and then would sit on it, a la Liam Gallagher in the Live Forever video. Good times. :)

VivClicquot · 07/09/2010 09:50

Cor, I like this common room much better than my old brown wood-pannelled walled one. :)

Clareanna - I'll bring the Take That posters, obv.

God, Jolls you've brought back hideous memories of school swimming galas :)

I hope tis okay if I wander in here? I will sit quietly in the corner. I am finding it hard to keep up with the massivehooge thread.

Hello lovely grads, hope the puking is starting to wear off now :)

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 07/09/2010 09:03

hello girlies!! < 8magic* leaves large bag of jaw breakers and sherbert straws on the table>

clareanna · 07/09/2010 08:22

Take care x

Just feeling a bit whelmed with all the new peeps, I just want somewhere quiet to come every now and again.
