I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

Tis true, pv. Thanks for the advice hairy and ladybee. Best get on it asap, I am day 9. Hope I haven't missed anything, i've been slack..

Are you feeling ok today ladybee? I have a day off today and am in bed on the laptop listening to old Moby songs from my youth and feeling nostalgic. Should get up and get the train into town to go shopping, but have yet to find the desire.

best do something though. See you all later.

PrettyVacant1 · 15/09/2010 22:33

Thanks for the linky WhatBabe Smile
Tis so true of our situation, # Win or lose, sink or swim, one thing is certain we'll never give in. Side by side, hand in hand, we'll all stand together. #

The app is 'love diary' and allows you to track all sorts ;)

Cheers for the link to the froggies youremindmeofthebabe

I get best with the cheapies mid afternoon or early evening.

LadyBee · 15/09/2010 20:55

I'd probably try to test twice a day youremind me,

See this: "The best times to test are between 11am and 3pm and 5pm and 10pm. If you want to make sure that you catch your LH surge, you may want to test twice a day, once in the earlier time frame and the other in the later time frame. Please keep in mind that while you may have the initial surge of LH earlier in the day if testing via blood tests, you will not get a positive result on the ovulation test until 4-5 hours later when the surge actually reaches your urine. Be sure to test at the same time each day.
Once the LH surge has been detected, successful fertilization is most likely to take place one to three days following the LH surge ? with peak fertility at 36 hours post-LH surge."

nickstermum · 15/09/2010 18:24

which app hairy i just got the free one, but is there one better? Oh please do tell!

Heres sending sticky bean fertilisation thoughts to you all :)

LadyBee · 15/09/2010 17:33

Oooh ladies that's quietly promising - can I symptom spot for you? There's nada going on over here.
I've even given up on my CBFM, am just using the same stick when it asks for one as I can't be arsed wasting them when I'm plainly NOT ovulating at the moment.

What app do you use?

Is it very bad that I'm already contemplating opening a bottle of wine? It's just that DH sent me a message suggesting lasagne for dinner, and it's put me in the mood for a nice red. DS is going to eat soon...does that count?

hairytriangle · 15/09/2010 16:57

LOL, Owly I can't keep my hands off them long enough to get to the loos! Grin

owlshoes · 15/09/2010 15:48

HT you know you should always go to the loos and check them there (I must've done this at least 10 times a day during the last 2WW).

I applaud your quality SWI dedication. Grin

hairytriangle · 15/09/2010 15:38

PV I'd love to be cycle buddies :)bom bombom byiiyaaa, bom bombom byiiiyaaa.

I SWI on days 8, 10, 12 and 13 and I had positive ov stick day 12 and CB peak days 13 and 14.

I'm day 18 today.

Nearly got caught feeling my boobies at work yesterday Blush and had the same freezing cold feeling in bed I had last time I was up duffed.

PrettyVacant1 · 15/09/2010 08:21

Unbuffy · 14/09/2010 19:13

honestly, it was cervical groping last time I poked my head around the door, and this time it's booby fondling.

If it wasn't for the context it would sound like there's MEN behind this...

I shall return when I've found somefing to grab hold of...

hairytriangle · 14/09/2010 17:51

just popping by to say hi to you all, hope you're having a good week so far.

I have sore boobs. I am trying not to symptom spot. I'm pretending it's not the TWW. I am eating brazil nuts and drinking pineapple juice. And and completely obsessed with feeling my boobs/looking at them all the time.

That is all.

LadyBee · 13/09/2010 21:37

Oh well done remindmebabe's DS. That's excellent. My CM's girls have both just learnt to do this - one is turning 7 this month and the other is 5, he's obviously ver talented in the balance department Grin

I didn't realise that my DS had this shy streak until we took him the birthday party of one of my NCT group - a big one, lots of family, kids, in a hall, with entertainment etc. I assumed he'd just join in because he's so confident and talkative at home, but he clung like a limpet. He did eventually peel himself off and join in when the singing/dancing happened but it was a real insight that how he is with me one-on-one is not how he is when his CM takes him to playgroups etc. Lots of the comments she'd made suddenly became clear. Blush. I don't mind it, it just makes me more conscious that when we start him at a nursery (trying to get some slots now) it'll need to be sensitively.

I'm feeling much better today, actually was fine yesterday but tired. I don't think it was food poisoning, just a week of different diet and more spicey food than I'd eat regularly. I love Indian food too, and it was great in Delhi. Our team in the office there normally bring in food from home and share it in a communal lunch, so I ate a lot of dishes that aren't normally on the menu back here - a really lovely aubergine dish, different breads, and the cheese (paneer) curry, mmm, yummy. Nothing was hugely hot, just really nicely spiced, some things with more heat than others.

Woke with puffy eyes after another meltdown last night. I'm finding this so much harder this time around. The disappointment and 'this is so unfair' feelings are really amplified and sticking around. Last night's one was caused by what had been a really lovely conversation DH and I had been having about DS and how he was developing and just the realisation that he's 2 1/2...I went from 'wow, he's two and a half' to 'oh my god, the gap is going to be so much bigger than I thought it would be' in about 3 seconds and dissolved. Got mad at DH because he doesn't seem to be grieving as hard as I am.
Ah it's shit isn't it.
Anyway...

Sorry if that's put a dampener on things. Just need to get it out sometimes.
D'you know I suspect one of the reasons things came to a head last night, was because the night before I had an incredibly vivid dream about being pregnant and going into labour. Was an odd dream, and I don't remember actually giving birth in it, but I guess it just stirred it all up.

Jolls you mentioning the grads list pushed me into going and having a read - felt very odd indeed. Caribou, see I think I just dived straight in - obviously didn't have any impact on outcome - but I think one of things I hate about MC the most is the way it robs you of the chance to enjoy the idea of being pregnant. I think that really, we know we can't 'jinx' it, and I don't think denial really helps it hurt less if it doesn't work, so may as well enjoy it (as much as possible) for as long as it does.

This is long and meandering post, isn't it Smile. See you tomorrow ladies

youremindmeofthebabe · 13/09/2010 09:53

viv an injury? I have illiotibial band syndrome which sounds very scary, but is really just a sore knee, exacerbated by running too far too quickly. When it's bad it gives way going down stairs etc. You can't run on it, northing helps. Or shinsplints? If your run is on tarmac. Easy to fake, as only bad pain when runnung, and rest makes them go away. Fake away!

cariboumoo I think out of all the people that think they've left the straighteners on, my flatmate truly has. She came home to a massive scorch mark in our house. I have tried Buckfast! If I am totally honest i have glimpsed it recently at a very heavy night out Blush

BB am very proud you had the forethought/capability to empty your handbag of stuff! What dirty so and so would leave dirty nappies in a ball pool? vom.

Sorry you're not well ladybee. Plenty of rest I advise! My DS is a little like that with other children, but he's fine when he gets going.

PV are you travelling back today? hope you can have a lazy one to recover. Sorry you had a little wibble with a tot, am sure your and MIL's time will come. In fact I know it.

As you may have read on ArseBook, my Ds learnt to ride a bike without stabilisers yesterday. He is 3 y 9 months. I am inordinately proud! And I'm not even aching that much today after the run, and I'm glad. Waves to all.

VivClicquot · 13/09/2010 09:32

Morning lovelies x

Sounds like you all had lovely weekends.

YROTB - well done on your run! Am still wavering about doing my 10km the Sunday after next, and am 80% sure I won't do it as I've not really trained much over the last couple of weeks. However, that means I'm going to have to come up with a credible excuse for my friend who is doing it with me, and I just know she'll suss...

pv - missed you too doll x

Nothing to report here apart from low level nausea kicking in. Work's bloody mental too (massive administration, anyone?) so will try and pop back later.

xx

PrettyVacant1 · 13/09/2010 08:25

Morning all Smile
Hope all is well on this loverly Monday morning and a fab weekend was had by all.
I have just about recovered after the celebrations and really should be having a lie in as last night was another late one.

Well done WhatBabe on your run, I too am not of the excessive exercise variety Blush

Jolls how's it going comrade. Smile
Our turn on that list will come.

I had a bit of a wobble at the party, MIL's sisters Grandson was brought down for a feed, he's 9 weeks and I had to stop myself from eating him!
MIL was rocking him and singing to him.
I felt like such a failure that we couldn't give her one of her own to have such a sweet moment with.

How's the tum B? hope you're feeling better.

evenin all went to Proms in the park yesterday for some serious flag waving, DD loved it! Long day though and I paid for it today. In bed on shittop so will catch up properly tomorrow xxxxx

nickstermum · 12/09/2010 21:27

carib been doing it for years with lentils and pureed veg, whats the diff between that and a zinc! Grin

CaribouMoo · 12/09/2010 20:49

Hey Bee there were balls aplenty yesterday and I continued to scrutinise them to establish how they could possibly be cleaned? She seems fine though, I am probably just being neurotic. That's shit you've got a dodgy tum now. What was the Indian food like? I LOVE Indian food, mmmhh. No problems with you BFPing me, just wanting to wait a bit before going to the grads. Although I did all this over-cautious carry on last time and that didn't get me anywhere. Maybe I should be more positive and just dive in...

YRMOTB well done you. As I said on FB, anyone that can run more than the length of themselves without dying is amazing in my eyes. The last time I ran was about 5 or 6 years ago. I was sitting in work and convinced myself I had left the straighteners on. Jumped on the tube and ran all the way back to our flat, picturing our poor wee house rabbit being consumed by flames. Got there and of course all was well but I felt so ill and all the colour had drained from my face. While I was running I honestly thought I might die. As you have guessed, exercise is not my thing.

PV have you sucummbed to your hangover? Nickster I have been desperate to secretly gring stuff into DH's food, I think that's brilliant!

Where are you 8s and Viv? Everyone having a good weekend?

nickstermum · 12/09/2010 19:29

I however would have been lucky to last 100m!!

youremindmeofthebabe · 12/09/2010 19:01
LadyBee · 12/09/2010 16:10

oh my god. always not already. Did I mention I'm tired?

I'm going now.

LadyBee · 12/09/2010 16:07

that would be, far too far, and doesn't do ball pits etc etc. Why do I already re-read my posts? poor fingers can never keep up with head..that's my excuse for lousy typing Blush
