I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

I am, apparently, upduffed

I am ECSTATIC but a teensy bit scared.

Mantra : it will all be ok it will all be ok it will all be ok.

Rudely, I forgot to say hi digi yesterday a little less frantic here for us long timers x

Grin at ladybee "tidied it into the bin"

LadyBee · 20/09/2010 20:49

Barrenbrook that sounds like a good conversation - quite reassuring to have people following up on stuff, it restores my faith in the system a bit.

I've gone and lost my letter with the consultant appointment details on it. So very annoyed - I know I saw it before I went to India but it's nowhere to be found now. I suspect dh tidied it into the bin

Will have to call and see whether they can send a duplicate out.

Ooh dinner's just arrived. nom nom nom. Back later.

owl normal for me unfortunately, I either have to be in early for work depending on what's going on, or I get up and haul my sorry ass to the gym before work as I'm crap in the evenings and can never be arsed at the end of the day.

viv if it were me I'd be going for the scan as I'd want to know all was ok. But then that's just me and my impatience!

I spoke to Gynae nurse today and got thyroid results back which were normal (although I forgot to ask what normal levels were.) karyotyping has still not come back so we're still waiting for that. She told me she'd mentioned to the consultant I'd told her about my alopecia episode and he has written back to the lab asking if there should be anything else they should check for as nothing has indicated there is a problem. She also said if we fall then just to ring her and they'll get me in to see consultant and research shows support in early pg helps lots, I've read this myself so to hear it from her was very reassuring. We shall see!

VivClicquot · 20/09/2010 15:54

Hello lovelies x

Just popping my head around the door to send a big squeeze to jolls

Am knackered from stressy and super-busy work, which at the very least, means I'm too busy to get caught up in paranoid thoughts that all is not well. Well, not too much at any rate... Wink Still not made my mind up about an early scan. Will be 8 wks on Weds so not sure I can wait another four... hey ho, we'll see.

Sending you all lots of love, cake, biscuits and sauv blanc xxx

digitalgirl · 20/09/2010 15:44

Hello . The more familiar faces seem to be here. Mind if I rejoin? Think I'm finally on the 2ww, but really not sure by how much as didn't do any opk's (took a lot of willpower to resist buying more of those) and temp charting has been a little ambiguous pin pointing exact day. But secretly hoping it's earlier than usual which would make this a 37 day cycle. Almost normal!

How is everyone? I am lazy, could someone summarise the highlights over the past 3 weeks please!

hairytriangle · 20/09/2010 14:38

I'm with owl on the vomming! Grin

Hi all just popping in to see how you are all doing.

Jolls hope you are feeling better.

owlshoes · 20/09/2010 13:55

YRMOTB you have just made me vom on my desk with that hideous link; tut. Grin

BB what on earth are you doing up at 5.45 in the morning? Tis not right.

Jolls sorry everything has been so shit; glad you feel like you're emerging. I think you're right about leaving a gap before TTC again, trying again immediately works for some but I don't think I'd have been able to cope with it. Time to relax and drink chianti is required I reckon; leave the mentalling and 2WWhinging to everyone else in here for a month or two :)

Fudge bath thingy sounds ace. I want one. An edible version, please.

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/09/2010 11:36

I am slightly crippled today. All i can face is a bath and perhaps Mad Men on dvd.

Thanks for the good wishes and stuff. here is my last ditch fundraising effort

Grin at SIL catching you, PV. I try to do as much of my boob prodding as i can twice a day in the shower, but sometimes it just can't be managed! Grin

Hope the week turns out ok, ladybee, it sounds full to bursting! FX for the bed.

Off to run my bath, I have a fudge bath ballistic from Lush, just for this occasion. nom nom. if onlyh the bath wasn't 3/4 sized.

barrenbrook · 20/09/2010 05:45

jollipops (((((((hugsfromsimoncowell))))))) xxx

ladybee good luck with your stressful week, hope the bed turns up. FX.

And both of you, don't be too hard on yourselves, we'll all get there eventually, some with rockier roads than others but we'll get there together x

Love to everyone else x

LadyBee · 19/09/2010 22:30

Hey jolls glad you're feeling a bit like you're coming up the other side of the pit. It's such an unholy crap place where you are, just wanted you to know you pop into my thoughts regularly each day.
I'm still very much in a 'two steps forward, one back' zone - yesterday was bad, today better- I guess it's a slower and harder road each time. Sad

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks.

So this week is going to be tough, not looking forward to it. Lots going on at work, AF due, and MIL arrives from NZ to visit. Her bed is due to arrive on Wednesday - pray that it does eek! Why did I insist on dh taking responsibility for this??? If I'd done it myself it would be here and at least I wouldn't be worrying that she'll turn up before it does.

Gah.

randomimposter · 19/09/2010 21:29

hi - just marking my place really.

Had a very low week, but am coming out of it. Still producing yuk brown discharge after ERPC (what nearly 4 weeks ago?!) so think it'll be an age before I get a period. Which is hardly a disaster as can't even think about TTC again tbh at the mo.

Wave to all - will catch up soon I promise x

hairytriangle · 19/09/2010 16:45

afternoon all. I have come to the conclusion that I am not up duffed, as I have a new crop of zits and PMT :( I still need that school of mackrel on a regular basis though.

barrenbrook · 19/09/2010 16:39

pv I'm joining you on the loony bus, day 16 and I'm having lots of creamy cm, tingly boobs and strange twinges. I've even noticed a rather large blue vein on my boob for goodness sakes! Hmm

Somebody slap me. Hard!

owlshoes · 19/09/2010 10:30

Morning darlinks :)

Ah, the looney bus, MrsPV I know it well. I always start the 2WW promising myself I will not go loopy this time. That I used to enjoy these two weeks like any other because they were not a week with AF in it. And about 9 days into the 2WW a switch flips and I go absolutely barking mad and start peeing on any stick I can find and symptom spotting and all kinds of faff and then am absolutely gutted when the inevitable AF starts.

In summary; mental to your heart's content my dear, you are Not Alone Grin

LadyBee am liking the multiple heads plan, you could have multiple hairstyles to go with it.

HT - A kipper will not do it justice. Here, have this schoal of mackerel.

YRMOTB I'd go with what Ladybee said - cheapy OPKs twice a day is far more likely to result in sensible information; I've been doing them once a day in the evening plus the CBFM in the morning as a experiment and the CBFM picked up a peak but the OPK sticks didn't. The tesco OPK sticks are quite good if you require immediate gratification and can't wait for ebay things to arrive I've found. :)

LadyBee · 18/09/2010 23:31

I have decided that I need a set of heads - like worzel gummidge - so I can take the one that is currently driving me mad off and put one on that doesn't realise I'm ttc and just gets on with my knitting or does the housework or something. Am trying desperately to distract myself from symptoms of imminent AF, but it's like double-bluffing myself.

Am meeting up with friends for lunch tomorrow - all with dc but all with fertility ishoos so should be fine. Still got pre-AF sore lower back, not due for a few days but am doing so much knicker-checking I'm going to have to wear a pad or something or provoke much suspicion. Blush

hairytriangle · 18/09/2010 16:58

Just popping in to say hi, I'm really pretending I'm not on 2ww, and that I could do an early response test on Monday morning ... slap slap slap me with a kipper!

Evening lassies. Just wanted to pop by and say hello but have discovered I'm now too tired to read posts properly or digest what's being said so will check back tomorrow properly.

Does PV stand for pvert now? That's what your SIL will be thinking! Your symptoms do sound encouraging though so we'll let you off with feeling yourself up in front of family. I think I had creamy EWCM before but can't remember under what circumstances unfortunately.

Later dudes x

PrettyVacant1 · 17/09/2010 19:33

Hi all. Smile

I got busted last night peeking down PJ top to see if boobs had miraculously changed in the hour since I last prodded 'em. BlushGrin
SIL walked in to her living Room nattering and kinda paused, stopped, looked at me in a somewhat bemused way, then just carried on the nattering and sat down.
Whilst we're on the subject, as you all know (you do now Grin) my cycle has decided to piss about so I have no idea when I OV'd.
Noo Apps all say different but we did manage to have a quickie at the MIL's Blush14 days before RTD is "supposed" to be arriving.
My Q is I've suddenly developed creamy and EWCM????
Add boobs tingling, cramps and twinges and I've joined the looney bus again.
Answers on a postcard if you will.

LOL Barrenbrook 'busted' Grin

Not as far as I know, but on the other hand, no-one would tell me if the'd seen me groping myself in my office Grin

Still groping - slightly less soreness, have convinced myself I am not up-duffed and am not going to test this time (unless AF is late - if I manage to hold out!)

barrenbrook · 17/09/2010 16:16

Hello all, how's things?

hairy how's the boob gropage going? Been busted yet? Grin

ladybee how are you feeling today chicken? Hope a little better and hopefully RTD hasnt shown up. I'll give you a slap anyway just to make you feel better. Any preference as to what fish you would like me to use? If it's any consolation my 3rd mc seemed to affect me so much more than the others and have been in that pit of despair. You are certainly not alone. X

YRMOTB congrats on run lovely

Hello to everyone else

Have had niece over for past few days and she's sooooo delicious and cute. She's well ahead of herself too as is only 6 months and crawling and climbing everywhere at a lightening pace. I've posted a vid of her on FB I dunno if any of you saw it, the window licker!

Apart from that not much has been happening in the bb house.

Have a good weekend girls x

LadyBee · 16/09/2010 21:53

Hmm, I use 'iPeriod' - you record most things and it does do a nice graph of basal body temp etc. It seems to be convinced at the moment that my cycle is about 24 days so keeps sending me messages that my period is due.

Actually it feels like my period is going to arrive early. This is sending me into full menkul mode, as the 'feels like period is coming a week early' happened in a couple of previous pgs. Somebody slap me.

I'm a lot better these last few days. Met up with a friend yesterday for lunch and playground - she's about to start her first IUI cycle, the fact that we've both had rough rides means we can offload to each other quite happily. It really helps being able to speak to someone in RL as well.

Have just made a delicious dinner and opened a lovely white to have with it...shall I have another glass? Grin
