I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

DIGIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fantastic! I just thought I would pop by quickly and you had made my day!!!!! You ARE PREGNANT so enjoy it honey - congratulations xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Big Magic8 waves to all from behind all the boxes containing the old kitchen contents and new kitchen. Will be back to catch up properly soon! Love to all x

digitalgirl · 03/10/2010 10:17

Hellooo? Anyone there?!

Did a test this morning and it's a BFP!!!

Will call epau tomorrow to book in for 6 week scan. And for now I'm going to allow myself to be happy!

digitalgirl · 02/10/2010 15:10

pv yes please put your suspenders on - but only if you don't snag them on your wrist splints Grin

You sound as though you're going through the mill a bit. Have you seen a nutritionist about your ibs? Or even an acupuncturist? I used to have ibs when at uni (bad diet), my knees would buckle at the awful stabbing pains I used to get.

Held off from testing this morning despite having my third triphasic temp. And thinking I really should wait and see if my temp plummets on Monday before cracking open a test. Am already worried about these pmt-cramps. The less I know the better at this stage.

hairytriangle · 02/10/2010 13:00

Hello lovely PV!

PrettyVacant1 · 02/10/2010 09:42

'member me. Grin

Hello, Hairy great news kidda!
Hello Lottie Smile
Digi what gives? Would you like me to put my suspenders on? Grin

I've taken up the violin as I've been a right whinging wuss, mood swings would be an understatement!!!

Was fed up with feeling poo so went to see if doc could help, he said I've got carpel tunnel syndrome and with IBS and M.E also flaring up he has agreed to put me down next Tue. Grin

Have to sport sexy wrist splints for bed so that'll add to the romance! Wink
Can't take daily anti inflammatories with IBS and TTC.
Boo!
Crappy paracetamol it is then.

Loves to everyone else, might see if I can get an app for speech to text, then you'll all be sorry!

Ooh digi, now that is exciting! Fingers crossed. x

I've been skulking as have been suffering from TTC/MN overload.

Completely get you Hairy. IF I ever get upduffed again I'm sure I'll be the same. Things are sounding really good for you though so try and chillax lady. X

hairytriangle · 01/10/2010 17:14

Thanks Lottie yes I'm sleeping a little easier, I'll feel better if the scan looks normal though!

digitalgirl · 01/10/2010 16:41

lottie am not taking progesterone supplements, but have noticed that as temp drops so does my general demeanour - get quite depressed and knackered for a couple of days. But soon as period comes my energy levels and optimism shoot back up.

Temp currently still high so am still feeling hopeful. Smile

LottieCrump · 30/09/2010 18:58

Hairy - that sounds excellent. You must be sleeping a little easier hon?

Magic8 - wow that has seemingly gone by quickly for us)!

Digi - when you say 'progesterone withdrawal', do you mean a natural progesterone drop or are you self medicating?
Just curious as this month I have started on the well document Serenity cream application post OV but am not sure how I know when to stop or if I stop having tested.

Have taken a lickle break from MN as was obsessing and stressing myself out a little too much.

Have been lurking occasionally though and it's lovely to poke my head in see you all!

owlshoes · 30/09/2010 11:46

That's more like it - I was starting to think time was going past faster than was ordinarily possible. I bet it's really dragging for you and our other lovely grads.

Will keep things crossed for you until you're well over the 17 week hurdle :)

digitalgirl · 30/09/2010 11:41

Good news on the HCG hairy and good luck with the scan.

Can't believe you're 15 weeks already magic8 seems to have flown by (although imagine it's gone incredibly slowly for you).

Only four more sleeps till my temp drops(or not). Went up again today, higher than it got last cycle. Am 11dpo which was my peak temp last cycle and after that it started dropping, so the next few days are going to be quite nerve-wracking.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 30/09/2010 11:28

Thanks Owls am only 15 weeks but 17 weeks is going to be a big hurdle!

owlshoes · 30/09/2010 11:22

17 weeks already? Good lord. Hurrah for the dancing Magic16Beans :)

Excellent news, Hairy :)

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 30/09/2010 11:09

HULLLLOOOO!!

Good news Hairy and fingers crossed this is your month Digit

Ladybee that sucks about your glasses but well done for taking out breakage protection! It never even crossed my mind about breakage protection, have only ever broken one pair, brand new Chanel rimless jobbies the morning me and DH moved house and I had packed all my contacts away Angry Try not to panic unnecessarily about the whole reproductive side of things, it's terribly hard but don't sweat it honey unless you really need to x

How you holding up Moo? And Jolls how you feeling lovely?

Big waves to YRMOTB,

Thanks for asking Freezing All fine with the Magicbeans both thrashing around in there yesterday already competing for the limelight while the sonographer did the measurements etc. So complete relief after I had a total meltdown on Tues night that everything was going wrong - anxiety clearly induced by the scan, the fact that it is fast approaching 17 weeks and I am taking cyclogest which made me feel like my waters were leaking IYKWIM???? Blush

Freezingmyarseoff · 29/09/2010 22:25

That's brillant news Hairy

hairytriangle · 29/09/2010 22:13

Hello all . Posting and running but will try to catch up tomorrow.

hcg has more than doubled and is 980 and they will scan me next Friday!!

They said highly unlikely to be ectopic :)

clareanna · 28/09/2010 20:47

Fab news hairy!

digitalgirl · 28/09/2010 17:17

Excellent news hairy!

ladybee it's far too early on in the game for you to be worrying about all that. secretly I worry about it too

Nothing much to report here, af due next Monday/Tuesday. Temps looking nice and steady so far, despite having a fever riddled toddler snoring and sweating all over me every night for the past 4 nights

Expecting progesterone withdrawal pessimism to set in by the end of the week. But at the moment am still hopeful that our 4th attempt of well-timed swi will have worked.

hairytriangle · 28/09/2010 16:02

Hello all!

Just a quick pop in to tell you that today my HCG is at 359 :) :) :)

and I have a 'lovely' progesterone level!

Having bloods again st the Epu in the morning.

Another hurdle over! :)

LadyBee · 27/09/2010 22:13

Not free until Thursday - have taken tomorroww off work to do sightseeing, normally have Wednesday off anyway. And then off she goes to Paris and we get to start the shag-a-thon, hopefully just in time Smile

Freezing - well, there's more to life than TTC right? It's probably better to know that there's no chance than to have done it once (or twice as we did) and to be sort of hoping while mostly knowing there would be v little chance. I bet that you still have one moment of symptom-spotting though Grin

Ah yes, jolls, once I got back into the office, despite it feeling very 'unreal' and definitely pointless, it did give me a chance to think about something else rather than the shit my reproductive life seemed to be.

Speaking of..I made the mistake of reading the 'gurgle.com' newsletter that popped up into my inbox today - all about celebs who have used IVF. Most of whom appear to have used it after multiple miscarriages, including Emma Thompson who has PCOS. Causing my brain to leap into 'I've got PCOS, oh my god I'm never going to have another baby and we can't afford IVF'. Which caused me to want to kick myself because
a) PCOS hasn't stopped me conceiving yet.
b) I don't actually believe we HAVE to have another baby, we just WANT to have one, and
c) I should grateful for not having to decide this in order to have a child at all. And I am.

Oh, in other news, I have broken my specs and am wearing contacts so look way hotter, but have headaches at the end of the day as I am blind-like-a-mole and contacts and PCs don't mix well for me. Boo. Although, did feel quite pleased with myself for buying some breakage protection last time I got them made, AND was able to find the policy, so the re-make is free. Hoorah.

youremindmeofthebabe · 27/09/2010 17:08

freezing,my chances this month will be the same as yours, I think. (over-sharing coming up) Only 2xS, one on day 9 and one on day 18 ish..

Ladybee glad you're feeling a bit more chipper. It's a bumpy road, for sure. MIL gone yet?Grin

mrsPV are you due a test soon?

viv well done on the run! am proud of you for doing it, I know how tits up my running training goes when I've been updiffed.

jollster Sorry you're feeling low. Hugs for you.

best be off for now. Got shed loads of work to do before 5.30Blushspeak soon all.

CaribouMoo · 27/09/2010 16:07

Bee you old softie! Good stuff about feeling optimistic, I'm sure that's half the battle. What with your new bed and all maybe this is the month ;)

Jolls what are you thinking pal? To give it a miss for a while? Are you waiting until they do tests or just thinking that maybe waiting would be good for your wellbeing? After so many hard knocks its not suprising you aren't just jumping back in the saddle again, I'm sure you'll know what the best thing is for you x

Freezing I don't like your chances for this month then! Sometimes I really couldn't be arsed either. There's always next month mate. Cheepz has been away sunning herself and having a well deserved holiday but is back to earth with a bump today so will probably be along here soon.

Nothing to report here. Still biding my time til the scan next week and jumping from great optimism to the depths of despair with alarming frequency....

Freezingmyarseoff · 27/09/2010 11:35

Morning all

Jolls sorry to hear you're still having a rubbish time. Big squeeze to you.

Just to keep you company on the sharing front, last month there was no S at all Shock either with or without I so not much hope on the upduffed options.

LadyBee hope the MIL visit isn't too stressful. How long is she staying?

Magic how are you and your beans?

Waves to Digital, YRMOTB, BB, Viv, Caribou, Lottie, Battery, owl and Urd
and of course Mrs PV How you doing crazy lady?

anyone heard from cheepz recently?

randomimposter · 27/09/2010 08:08

hey ladyb; don't get paid to work, as stay at home and get run ragged by 2 year old. In many ways I think the routine and discipline of work would be very good for me right now. But hey.

nothing from hairy for a bit - hope all ok.

Need to pull finger out and decide what to do about TTC... task for the week. Will be back to share... whether you like it or not :)

Squeeze to all who need it, marine wallop for those who are being mental...

LadyBee · 25/09/2010 00:28

aaaaaahhhhhh

Can I just come here and sink down into a nice warm fluffy down-filled bean-bag type thing?

So. There's another week done then. Bed arrived. Af arrived. If we could leave it there then I think I'd be quite happy but no, MIL will arrive tomorrow Grin.

Jolls, hello you. Are you back at work or not yet?

So nice thinking of Hairy and her BFP, and Magic and her double-trouble. Caribou, you too m'dear.

Goodness, anyone would think I'd been at the liquor cabinet. I've not, really. Just feeling quite optimistic and, well, ok. For a nice change. Wink

Have nice weekends all!
