Well, I have booked us a fabulous hollibobs to a five star hotel in Egypt in October. Now I will almost certainly get pregnant this cycle, as if I do I will be 5-6 weeks whilst there, unable to drink and probably being sick all over the shop! Yay for sod's law!

It is only Wed, but I have already had a glass of wine. My DH is at rugby and I have a list of things to do. So, of course, I'm slightly tipsy and on MN!! . In my defence, aren't people always telling us to relax when TTC. Well, that's what I'm doing!!

Nelly - chill out and enjoy your hols. Enjoy the wine, eat the honey. Avoid the ibuprofen if possible. When do you come home?

Brassica - did you get through to a doc in the end? It does seem strange that they gave you 4 months and told you to get on with it. Totally different from Valinna's experience with her never ending dildocams! Did you have any side effects from clomid, btw?

Your body is playing silly buggers with you, isn't it Takethat? Hope you managed to hold strong and get that BFP soon. Well done on enjoying your DH and celebrating finishing in the meantime.

Josie - how are things with your DH now? Settled down a bit? Hope so. This can be such a stressful time for them as well as us.

That reminds me. I filled Mr Miffles in, last night, on quite how hard to 2ww can be and quite how mental you lot are. Naturally, I'm not, as have no cycle to stress about!! But I was warning him what I could turn into if and when I start clomid. He said "I don't want you to be like that". Oh. Ok then. Well, if you don't want me to be, then fine. It's as easy as that, of course!! Just wait!!!!!

And Vallina - hows things with you? I can't remember when you're due your next dildocam? is it tomorrow, as the lining wasn't thick enough? Hope it goes better.

Brassica, it looks like you're getting some useful responses on your other thread. I hope the doctor gets his act together and you get some proper answers soon.
In fact I'm horrified at how lots of people seem to be treated by doctors on here. I've been a generally healthy person so haven't had dealings with the NHS for years, and am shocked at how little use medics seem to be when it comes to fertility/pregnancy/etc.

Nelly are you me?? Obv not as I'm not on holiday. I also had more bleeding this morning. Thought AF had decided to put in an appearance at last. But no more for the rest of the day. I think I need to sign up for those lolly-sticks.

Yep, still a BFN and no AF brassica. Don't know if I ovulated because my temps were ridiculously low both before and after pant snot, though they did go up by about 0.3 degrees.

Also, I stopped taking my temps as I had a low fever last week with a hideous cold. When I was trapped upstairs during the armchair/stairwell incident I took my temp because I felt like crap and it was 99.4, so it really wasn't going to be reliable.

Think I'm 14DPO or maybe even 15DPO. Last pant snot day was 2 weeks ago today.

That sounds ridiculous about your clomid treatment. Why did the woman on the phone even give you the details? And why would she assume you wouldn't want more information? Have you managed to get through to the doctor yet? Force your way brassicababe!

Josie ouch! I hate toothache...

pmsl at nervous - honey is only a problem for newborns, not the pregnant mother-to-be - There's a risk of infant botulin or something. For headaches, you can take paracetamol when you are pregnant, but over here you are told to take NO other medicine at all, not even cough syrup. Trust me to still be ttc-ing just in time for winter...

If I disappear it's because my work computer is playing up and sometimes it kicks me off, sometimes I'm allowed on but it won't type so I'm not ignoring anyone!

Thanks Brassica I will try that. I had an operation on a tooth years ago and had to swill hot salt water a few times a day so it makes sense that it would help this. Plus hot drinks don't hurt it at the minute, just cold ones.

Not going to dentist just yet as they were x-rayed when the top ones started erupting and although they're coming through to the side slightly, unless they really hurt all the time or stop me eating he won't do anything about them, which is fine by me as I'm terrified of having anything done to my teeth! If it turns out to be infected I'll have to go but until them I'm sitting tight!

I think I could make a fortune selling ice cream sticks on ebay to wannabe-mums. Not in a "trying to deceive them" (us?) kind of way; just as a tool to help scratch the itch. You know, the feeling you just have to pee on SOMETHING even if it's CD5 and you know there isn't a cat in hell's chance you are pregnant, or even ovulating; but you've GOT TO PEE ON A STICK.

Bleeding now gone again. So at least not trying to cope with tampons and bikinis - always a dangerous game. But no clearer on whether it was implantation or early ERTD signs.

This morning I'm imagining I feel sick (I mean totally imagining ). I was good last night and only had one teeny tiny GnT; though I had loads of lovely local honey for my breakfast(plus lots of lovely other things) and am now wondering, if I AM pg, if that's bad? I know it's bad for small kids - but how small? Pinhead size?

Really must do a bit of research, just in case. Had a bit of a sore head yesterday so reached for the 'profen; only to remember that was a no-no. IF I was pg, which I'm clearly not

Congrats on finishing your MA eskarina! Hope it went well. And big congratulations to miffles for making it through the NHS minefield and getting an appointment. Hopefully this is the start of better things :) I wonder if I'll be joining you as no sign of AF today so now I'm wondering if I really did ovulate 2 weeks ago. If it's not here by Friday I'm going to moan at them about my stupid cycles.

Nothing to report here except extremely painful tooth still, and possibly the other side starting too! DH cooked a lovely meal for tea but I only ate a couple of mouthfuls as it was so painful Then went to the pub with a mate but couldn?t drink anything as it was too sensitive so it took me 2 hours to drink one lemon and lime! So I?m feeling a bit roughed up at the minute and need cuddles more than anything else. Hopefully I?ll be better at the weekend and can get down and dirty

Congrats on finishing your work - 6 years is a long time! Wow! You deserve celebrating tonight. And since you haven't had a BFP yet, the baby won't be affected. In my mind, if the baby isn't effecting the FMU, then our consumption won't effect it . If it doesn't like alcohol, it should produce more HCG!!!!

Brassica - forgot you were on your first cycle of clomid. Can understand why you're hanging so much on this 2ww....people do seem to be most hopeful about the first cycle, but there are plenty of others who fall pg later on.

Josie - fret not about your DH. I think they are often as emotional and irrational as us!! Like Truffkin said, they get used to the way we were before. Mr Miffles sometimes feels quite bad that he doesn't conform to the stereotype of a man wanting sex all the time. When he is busy and stressed, he'd much rather sleep!! But my sneaky way is getting naked in bed....hiding his t shirt if necessary and he soon gets in the mood!!

I'm glad I'm with other short arses...but concerned that your DHs all match you. Mine is 6' 4" and since I'm 5' 2 (and a half) we look more than slightly mis-matched! Concerned about my pelvis and his size when the baby comes!!!!

12th October, I'm seeing the infertility consultant. Going through the NHS, so have been waiting ages. Makes it all the more real now....getting excited that I might actually have a 2ww!!

Update on the chick-lit - as usual Shopaholic has me laughing out loud. I'm a simple soul really, but I'm getting strange looks from other sunbathers!

Am now convinced my suspected implantation is in fact just ERTD arriving early. Bleeding/spotting is back. I think it's the lack of any other symptoms. I was out in a tiny boat today, with a smelly diesel engine, and not a whiff of nausea. I don't get seasick normally, but if I was pg, surely that'd make me sick??
