34!! I think this means I ovulated (although they were done on evening of day 22 rather than day 21, but I don't think it matters too much).

Well, did sneaky bloods tonight - have sent them to the lab and on the computer it says they have arrived. Not sure how long it takes to come back, but my shift finishes at 7.30am...

Yip brassica CD12 for me. Managed to JS Saturday morning and Sunday night. Need to squeeze another couple in this week just to up the odds, as not sure how long my cycle will be (was unusually short last month). But I do have pant snot, so I'm in the ball park! I think I've got pant snot at the moment so I'm praying I get more of it and a temp rise by mid-week. 'Cos I'm going to be fucked off if I get past day 51 (my current ttc cycle record) and I haven't even ovulated. Got in 2 shags over the weekend, going to try for 2 more by Weds. Commuting every day this week and it's the first full week of term so I'm going to be knackered after that!

Nothing much else to report. Got free wine because I helped man the Fresher's party in the English Faculty last week. Drank it on the weekend. In between X Factor, Strictly, Downton Abbey, various football matches, and the odd shag That's as exciting as life gets at the moment. Though there's a lot of Take That news at the moment ...

DH is going to tell me off. We're supposed to be on a bit of a healthy eating kick at the mo. He because he is trying to improve his 1/2 marathon time (mad person) and I because my weight is creeping up slowly. But Gu puddings are on BOGOF in Tesco this week so I bought some . We never normally have puddings. I only weakened because I went shopping after a long day at work and was starving. AND I must confess to thinking "hmm, a ramekin, how useful" as the ebay cheapie tests I've just ordered are the dip in type not the pee on type. I think I'm getting a little obsessed as it's only CD10. On last month's count that's a whole 25 days before I'm late and can test.

I hope your consultant gets back to you soon BB. and I did grin at the fire tending story. We have a stove too. DH is rather partial to it as an aphrodisiac!

Nothing much to report here. But enjoying keeping up with other viroids news.

Had a v close call on Saturday - had a super quickie in the lounge, before friends came over. They rang the bell just as we were pulling on some clothes! I had to make a dash upstairs to the loo whilst DH played it cool!

I know, not bad day here too! Though workwise received a shirty email that put me in a bad mood; and now my pc has gone kaput! So am mn'ing on phone to fill in time .

OH was suitably sex pested last night (predictive text wanted to type that as prayed!) was worth it though. Funny thing is that I was going through a bit of an ambivalent period towards sex before ttc JS, but now am finding it extra exciting wondering if that might have been "the one". Adds a certain frisson :)

I can happily say that my name doesn't mean 'there are no more choc biscuits because I ate them all yesterday'! Phew I finally filled up!

Erm, wow Kitten congrats on such a quick BFP.

We've just spent a lovely weekend with my parents. They live 200 miles away so we don't get to see them too often. I also saw lots of other lovely people - my brother came up too, and my grandparents and aunt live close by. Plus I had a fab morning with a really close friend and her 2 beautiful boys. I really wish we could see more of each other because she knows me so so well and I can tell her everything about everything. She's the only person (besides DH ) who knows we're ttc and has been really supportive. She lent me a book called the pregnancy bible, with a big hug and an "I hope you need it really soon". Poor DH didn't know which way to look and demanded it be put in a bag PDQ so that my parents didn;t see it

Anyway, we managed a bit of JS tonight when we got back home so I'm much happier. If I am on a new cycle it's CD9 today so a bit early, but hopefully it will set the tone for the next week.

I am so completely over this whole TTCing thing. I have no enthusiasm at all this month so I've been lurking instead.

I'm on 7dpo (I think, 'cos boobs have confused me - you can't ov on day 11 one cycle and day 19 the next... can you?!) so have another week to go - I WILL NOT poas before then
