Welcome to our new thread where everyone's welcome. Sit back with your favourite drink and get all those 'suspicious' symptoms off your chest including the ever popular suspicious boob (sb).

If you're squeamish this may not be the thread for you, as this thread is dedicated to those with strange goings on where no symptom is TMI.

Good luck to us all for that elusive BFP to arrive soon. Who'll be the first to get one?

Hi Choccie and Daisy - I am fairly new to this thread and wanted to wish you a fond welcome - not sure if I can offer any advice about what either of you are going through other than to say that you are not alone, and Daisy you are in the right place! Sounds a bit strange to have AF a week early, when I was pregnant with my DS I have some bleeding round about when my period was due and wrote off being pregnant at the time, then took a test a few weeks later (having just found out a colleague was pg, I was feeling really down so bought a packet of fags, having not smoked for a year, and a pg test - the test was positive, the fags got binned!)
I am pretty much certain this is not going to be my lucky month, but for the 0.000001% chance I am pg, I have been experiencing massive mood swings this week, floods of tears last night, uncontrollable anger today, and covered in bloody spots. Basically, I am turning into a teenager. Going to my room now to look at my posters and play some really loud music.

Choccie75 · 09/09/2010 14:30

Oh and as far as symptom spotting goes:

Sore Boobs (not uncommon at this point)
Crampy pains that come and go
Back ache
Slight light headiness and nausea which comes and goes

So all in all it looks as though AF coming as not much different to any other month Grin

I seem to start with pms almost immediately after OV!

Daisydaydream · 09/09/2010 14:01

Oh my goodness not even sure if Im in the right place here, only just started TTC, but feel like I'm going mad today so going to post anyway. Had very achy pelvis this week (had spd in last preg) and didn't think too much of it, but had really bad PMT symptoms for few days, got AF yesterday, which is over a week early! What is going on, why would my period be 8 days early for no reason. Feel very weepy and hormonal today, crying at daft things (which I did all through last pregnancy) A friend said it may be implanting bleeding (?) or could it be a very early MC? Feel like I'm going a bit bonkers today.

Choccie75 · 09/09/2010 13:38

Helo, can i join in please?

TTC since December 2009. 1 DS (born July 2008), i am currently on 10 DPO (i think), being on month 10 i was sick of the let downs so didn't bother using OPKs this month!

I got a BFP the first time round after 7 months and after joining a mumsnet thread so figured it might send some luck my way.

bossyboop · 09/09/2010 11:27

Radley, loved your story about your special dates and grrrrrr to tesco, let us know how that develops. I admire your restraint at testing!

Been catching up on the posts, hello to all the newbies.

allthatjazz · 09/09/2010 00:17

sorry that post was so long! Can see this page now and just wanted to add- munki poking sb and clear cm (well more white and lotiony, sorry tmi. I.ll kill the thread with my tmi's at this rate)- me too! Radley also very impressed you are holding out so long :) Do you think anyone can tell I've had no one to talk symptom spotting to for about 4/5 days?

allthatjazz · 09/09/2010 00:07

Hey all am on hols so sorry I havent been on. Row my cycle buddy I am so pleased for you :) I bled a bit in early pg and all was well- see doc incase you are worried etc. Also interesting about hormones and booze, I am going completely teetotal til xmas next month, see if that helps my hormones. I havent tested this wk- cue I am a big wimp who doesnt want to see a another bfn emotion. Symptom wise I am still crampy now and then- ovary pain, still veiny boobs- hurt when i take top off too and maybe more tired- this could be blamed on lots of other things inc. ds. Really lost my sex drive (sorry tmi) this is def not me. Confused still got lots of cm too (sorry tmi, again). Also does anyone else have an almost hip bone pain? Is this just me? Cant test til Sat. arthursmum I too am thinking of getting a CB monitor though think my periods are too all over the place. On phone cant see next page. Hi new posters :) and hi assaisin, radley and everyone else I forgot (waves)

arthursmum · 08/09/2010 19:11

Thanks for the solidarity radley - I am totally impressed that you are holding out until 21st - good on you - and I have also been freaking out about the massive sodding spiders that have been invading my house!
row78, I don't think pink bleeding is anything for you to worry about, from what I can gather its very normal, and the fact it stopped straight away is good. Let us know how you are doing. Lots of positive thoughts coming your way...

row78 · 08/09/2010 18:07

munki and pippa, clear cm was a symptom for me, so fingers crossed

radley - you are hard as nails! I would have done about 10 by now. Fingers crossed for you. I think I'll go to the docs at 6 weeks, maybe just before I go on holiday, if I make it that far...

I had some bleeding earlier today, very pink, it stopped again straight away, does anyone know what you are supposed to do? There is no point seeing a doc is there as they won't be able to do anything?

AddictedToRadley · 08/09/2010 00:45

Hi everyone. Yey even more new people - I'm liking this thread. Munki I think you'll fit in just fine on this thread...... Grin

ArthursMum don't worry too much about the endometreosis. I was told at 18 that I should have a hysterectomy as it'd help symptoms and I'd never be able to conceive anyway as I was infertile. Thankfully I'm stubborn and refused it. Considering I'd never conceive I haven't done bad to have had 8, yes EIGHT pregnancies - shows what they know! Fingers crossed.

Munki I hope it does happen straight away for you but don't be disheartened if not as I fell on straightaway with my first 3 or 4 but have been trying for a while to get one to stick this time!

Row when do you think you'll go to dr's? I understand you wanting to wait though and think it's a great idea.

Assasin gutted your symptoms have tailed off but there's still hope.....

My symptoms seem to be getting stronger especially the sickness (although never had morning sickness before!). I'm sooooo tired too. I was due on 6th but am not going to trying not to test for another 2 weeks. This will take strength but I can't cope with a BFN right now and can always kid myself I'm having another 40+ day cycle. I pick my new car up (hopefully, considering I should already have it!) on 21st so will try to wait until then

I can't go to sleep tonight now. I was asleep and DH came up and found a massive spider on steroids big spider next to me on the bed and I HATE spiders ( massive phobia!!). Help.....!!!!!

I'm due on Friday and last week I had unusual Blush amounts of cm, felt really nauseous, had sore boobs, headaches, and kept randomly bursting into tears (so not me - and very embarassing!).

This week I feel completely normal. I was convinced I was pregnant - now I reckon not Sad

arthursmum · 07/09/2010 19:10

Nice work munki, take care of that prodding finger, maybe bring a chopstick into use to save it from getting RSI Wink.

munki · 07/09/2010 18:35

Hello arthursmum! Sorry to hear about your divvy GP, duhhh to the medics! I guess if you have a ds it can't be causing a major problem but still...

I have a very slight suspicious boob now, thanks to days of constant prodding I've managed to make one slightly sore - result!

arthursmum · 07/09/2010 17:21

Bugger, meant to put a smiley face in after munki to show I was chuckling and enjoyed her post - I did! :)

arthursmum · 07/09/2010 17:19

Hello new arrivals! Nice to see you getting stuck in there munki. I have just got back from the doctors (repeat prescription) and mentioned the ttc. I told him that a few years before I had DS I had a laparoscopy because of severe pains and they found a lot of scar tissue on my tubes. I said that they had discounted PCOS or endometriosis as a cause, but then the doctor today told me 'Oh, it was endometriosis'. Thanks a frigging bunch then, I would have appreciated knowing that 8 years ago, I might have started trying to conceive a lot sooner. Bah humbug.

munki · 07/09/2010 16:41

Hello? Can I join you? I'm the world's most suggestible person, so I have loads and loads of capacity for dreaming up crazy pregnancy symptoms.

I'm TTC number 2, started last month but trying 'properly' this month because every time I've conceived previously (twice: 1 baby, 1 MC) it's happened first month of trying, a bit worried it didn't happen last month and so taking it more seriously this time...

Aaaanyway, I'm 10 dpo and seem to remember having symptoms at this point the last two times, of the suspicious boob and wanting to eat pies variety. Now, none of that but - TMI - loads of CM which is quite jelly-like (more so than EWCM). Don't think I've ever had that before AF before - is it normal?

Hmm, way to go off on one for a first post! Nice to meet you all!

M

kingfix · 07/09/2010 16:10

How early are we allowed to start imagining spotting symptoms?

I am 10dpo and ridiculously excited because I have woken in the night feeling elated (barmy I know, but this has happened with previous pgs )

and I've been weeing loads and I have one suspicious boob (and one naive boob?).

That must be about as conclusive as POAS, right?

AuntFlosAssassin · 07/09/2010 13:49

Hello Smile

Hiemmylou long cycles like that are a killer for your mental health i find, all that hanging about waiting, wondering am or arn't i, obsessivly knicker checking etc etc etc
Actually on second thoughts i think ttc in general is just a killer for our mental health!! [manic grin emoticon]

Weeell constant cramping still present with me-its starting to do my head in now, i just wish af would hurry up if she is going to arrive so i can get this cycle over and done with. af not due for another 2 days at least. Im on day 26 at the minute but cycle ranges from 28 to 31 days. Have been known to have a 27 day cycle in recent months which means technically i could test tomorrow, but im not going to..Honestly im def not testing til im feeling sure im pregnant.
No other symptoms to report that ive noticed. Headache has decided to flee and nips arnt burny anymore.

Thanks row78 - am holding off a bit as am still waiting for period and can't quite quash the glimmer of hope that I might be preggers. Even though I know I am not. Or am I? :) No. Yes? NO. Maybe.... Oh crikey, I'm back where I started now.

row78 · 07/09/2010 08:55

arthurs - you need to set your monitor for at the very latest the 5th day after your period starts, so make sure you have it by then or you miss a month.

bossy - sounds a great idea, the obsessing can get too much. I always wished I was someone who found out they were pregnant at around 8 weeks so I wouldn't have to do all that. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for all the congrats, assassin, I've not contacted the docs yet as I want to make sure it sticks first. I just got my date through for the infertility clinic in Dec and don't want that to be cancelled. Today is my first official day of missed period (though usually I would be spotting for the last 3 days as well) and I meant to take a digital test to check, but what I thought was a digital test in my cupboard wasn't. I took one yesterday but it is still really, really faint. So I'll do the digi one tomorrow and see what it says.

However it does seem that my tubes never were never blocked (or at least one is clear) so that worry is off my mind. And I do think that staying off the booze for a month helped my hormone levels, everything seemed more right in that department this month. (I did have a glass when we went out once a week, just not a nightly glass or two)

AuntFlosAssassin · 06/09/2010 19:19

Hi everyone

Bossy sorry to hear you've been feeling so shitty, heres hoping a wee break from obsessing will do you the world of good.

I still have constant cramps, but i think its probably just af on her way.cm is creamy looking and sticky but have no idea what this means.Confused

Have had such a hectic day at work and im really tired.doesnt help that i was up with ds during the nite as he had a little bed wetting accident (poor child gets very upset when this happens). He is doing great where the toilet is concerned.I took him out of nappies on 12th july, and out of nappies at nite 3 weeks after that and all in we have only had 3 accidents during the day and 3 accidents at nite time-im so proud of him!!!

Hows everyone else doing?

Row have you visited your doc yet Wink

AddictedToRadley · 06/09/2010 17:26

Oh Bossy I'm so sorry to hear wicked AF got you Sad

I think it's a good idea to give your body and mind a rest for a month. Fingers crossed for you.

Good on you bossyboop!

bossyboop · 06/09/2010 15:01

Hello everyone, havent been around much due to af, but had to pop in and say congrats to row!

Last month was the first time ive been upset by af so this month ive decided to lay off with the symptom checking etc. No idea what day im on, calendar is out of sight, diary isnt getting filled in. I cant be dealing with a late af again so figured if I dont know what day im on I wont know when im due or if im late. Just enjoying time with dh and what will be will be!
