Hi to everyone else. One week on from the BFP and I'm feeling as positive about things as I guess I can be. Still getting absolutely knackered at around 2/3pm every day, so am trying to tell myself this is A Good Thing (TM).

For the budding Paula Radcliffes out there - I'm still running. Am supposed to be doing a charity 10k at the end of the month with a friend - not sure at this stage whether I will, but for the time being, I'm trying to run when I can as all mw advice in my previous two pregnancies was that it's important to keep exercising.

Even tho i am positive, had to sit next to 3 big pregnant bellies at the EPU - amaxingly i only welled up on saino's car park - didnt cry - making progress!!!! WHOOP

Even tho SWI at the wkend as had stopped bleed, today i had hideous diarhoeah (have had that several times during MC, plus dizziness and fainting) and have started to bleed again :( maybe just coming out in bits.... hopefully just coming to the end - cant be AF can it?

fondant interesting. I was the same. I did read however that a lack of Vit a can cause eye problems in the foetus! Will have to find the link. I am taking pregnacare but since reading on the recurrent buns site all the advice offered by broken bits (who seems to know absolutely everything!!) about nutrients etc i have decided to stop taking pregnacare and take solgar female multi (expensive but who the hell cares)

Have to say talking about conservative GPs mine told me all i needed was to have a 'balanced diet' and didnt need anything.. likewise for my DS who contracted every virus known to man for his first 12 months (he has been on natures best for 12 months - not a temp in sight!)

Fish oil (its the essential fatty acids)helps with the mucas and can also contribute to balancing hormones.. and DH sperm!!. will find the link - plus also in the event of conception - makes bambinos more brainy thats what i tell myself. ah link below.

Hello all!

I'm back from camping, was very much fun, very little sleep and lots of wind, brrr. Good music though, and lots of fun stuff for the kids.

So, how are we all?

pretty sorry RTD got you, I am on day 33 of my supposedly 31 day cycle and no sign of RTD. Also POAS which was Negative yesterday. Not uswed FMU yet, but not having much hope.

Hello cas555 and backonceagain and mummyabroad. I will chuck my Agnus Castus story in for you all. When I became pregnant with DS I actually took AG at least for the first few months, I didnt know i was PG until 4 months(18 weeks. When I told my best friend after the event, she is a pharmacist, she was surprised that it was okay because of AG's slight connections with MC.
However, for all of you worrying about what you did, I drank, smoked and occasionally took illicit drugs during this time before i knew i was pg. I was totally paranoid after this, but DS is fine. So we need to stop blaming our MC's on anything we did. Having said that, I blame mine on a 8 mile run!!

I know the drs say it wasn't caused by anything I did and that it's most likely nothing wrong with me or dh but I think when trying for dc1 it's that much harder to believe in the random chance theory :( still, concentrating v v hard on positive thinking all the same!

Have been reading the ag cast debate with interest, my gp is so conservative that she recommended I chucked my fish oil tabs in the bin! My reflexologist is a nutritionist and she reckoned I should take good quality normal multiple vits rather than pregna care but I'm too frightened to do that because of vit a. Patrick holford's book says that it's fine though, only need to limit vit a from (I think) animal rather than vege sources.

My colleague's wife has had a number of mc's before her current successful pg and he recommended doing foresight hair mineral testing, was going to look onto it at lunch. Also, has anyone ever done a homocysteine test? Any idea whethe it's worthwhile?

I got some spotting today, got all excited thinking it was my first AF (since December!) but now nothing Cant wait for this WTF to be over (or for my Amazon order to arrive so I can go back obsessively testing again )

Its a bit of a slow day for me, so I?ve been googling...

I?m quite surprised to find out how powerful AC is. There are several studies (double blind placebo controlled ones too) that show it helps regulate cycles. One study even resulted in pregnancies (36 out of 67 women with fertility problems got pregnant)
Note to lurkers who may not have been following all of this thread: This study DOES NOT prove that the vitamin is safe to use during pregnancy.
