Ah girlsworld it's all gonna be a bit of a rollercoaster the next couple of weeks methinks. I think I'd rather know one way or the other and just start a new cycle clean and afresh... you have beaten through all the confusion though, I can't see the wood for the trees, and given me a clear timetable of action! Thankyou!

TerrysNo2 · 30/09/2010 20:27

Evening ladies!

I am already losing count of the stats of my days - if you count AF Day 1 as Day 1 then I think I would be on Day 11 but if girlsworld is right on the other way then the stats are right! Very confusing!

Excited to hear if anyone is PG - I think we are def due another soon.

I wondered if anyone can help, this is my first month of monitoring so a bit of a newbie. Are OPK's always right - do they pick up OV? Because I check my CM today and it was egg-whitey and stretchy (sorry if TMI Blush) so not sure what to believe??

MrsP81 · 30/09/2010 20:22

Sorry to see you leave raven Sad

wombat, I feel a strange sense of relief reading your post as it makes me realise I'm not the only insane person to do a test on day 24/32ish! This is what I've just done and it was an utter waste of a perfectly good stick but I somehow feel better for doing it. FF keeps changing its mind about which day I ov'd and its driving me mad - I'm either 6 or 8dpo. I actually think I'm 7 but all of those are too early to test. Blush

Hi to everyone else and welcome to the new passengers. :)

Girlsworld · 30/09/2010 20:13

Ah, thanks 8rubberduckies! I am therefore on day 14. Will update myself tomorrow!

Ok, so your luteal phase is usually 10 days, you may have ov'd on day 15, you're on day 25 now... surely a test is coming on?? Wink We are due for another graduate on this bus soon.

I see lots of opportunities for you over the next week, ie if you're not pg from the Tuesday ov, you may well have ov'd on the Friday after all, hence test next week. Then with the EWCM you may be Ov'ing right now, so even more chances to conceive! Good luck!

broughthimroundtotheidea · 30/09/2010 20:11

Thanks girlsworld, mine is right. :)

8rubberduckies · 30/09/2010 19:56

Hey sillybillymummy we meet again! I really, really don't know when to test, I didn't want to bore everyone with it, but you have opened a can of worms!

I haven't bothered much with FF this last week or so, as I was pretty sure I'd OVd last Friday, but had a fever for 4 days with this tonsilitis I've had, so my temperatures have been crazy the last week, but I went onto FF today and updated stuff and it now says it thinks I may have OVd last Tuesday. As my luteal phase is usually 10 days that means I'm due tomorrow, but have no PMT, and just to make things even more confusing I've got a bit of EWCM today Shock, first, ahem, batch of the month.

Any ideas O Wise Ones?

Oh, and girlsworld well done for redoing the stats! I am pretty sure spotting is not meant to be on CD1, but the first day you get a proper bleed.

Girlsworld · 30/09/2010 19:09

Hi all! I'd missed a day too so have gone back to a (correct I think) list and updated everyone. Hope it's right!

Nearly ov day for me, although I started to ponder if I'd miscounted my days, as when I counted day 1 it was only spotting with AF on day 2. A quick poll on another thread said I should count day 2 (proper AF) as day 1, soooo... I am really on day 14. Confused? You will be! Anyway I managed to have SW1 yesterday, the day before and the day before. Last night we collapsed in fit of giggles as we "got on" with it. If there's a June baby to be, it will surely be born with a sense of humour!

Anyway enough of my rambles. Nice to see you indesit - I am also hanging on the back of the bus by my roller skates, so pull up those legwarmers, turn on that walkman and enjoy the ride!

Wombat33 · 30/09/2010 18:12

Hi all, I'd lost a day too so have updated it below. Not getting too excited though here as no symptoms at all [yet???]. Good luck everyone testing soon. I poas yesterday (on day 24/32 - yes, I'm mad -what a waste of time/money!) and unsurprisingly it was BFN. Trying to hold out now until the weekend which would be CD 27/28 which was when I got my TWP in July. Keep everything crossed!

I've lost a day too - but again, not complaining as have made no attempt to update.

sillybillymummy I was determined to not test until CD30 (Monday) but am away from DH then so may be weak and do Sunday.

However I'm having a few AF twinges this afternoon so may be saving the tests up for next month Sad for me but hope that boosts your chances Smile

sillybillymummy · 30/09/2010 16:10

Hey rubber duckies, we are ttc buddies again! As i am CD25 aswell.. think they weren't updated properly in the last few days (not that i'm complaining as i don't even think i have done it this month!!)

When are you testing rubberduckies?

Think i will test Monday if AF hasn't rocked up

Sorry for everyone getting off the bus, i hope it brings me some luck - as this is getting tedious now.

mrsden sounds like summat funny's going on! Hoping its not AF x

8rubberduckies · 30/09/2010 15:33

Hi all, sorry to see so many people departing again Sad.

MrsDen sorry you're feeling down, I cannot offer much advice about what's going on with the spotting, but I can offer you a massive great big slice of Victoria Sponge Grin. Not homemade I'm afraid, but as good as, cos I got it from the posh shop up the road... It can feel an age ttc, we've only been trying for a little while in the grand scale of things but I'm beginning to feel like an old-timer Wink.

Welcome to the bus Indesit and fingers crossed it's a maybe for you rather than a maybe not!

Anyhow, updated stats coming up. According to FF I am CD25 so have lost a day somehow, so have moved myself up the list. Indesit I have not added you as not sure of your stats?:

CD26 for me today and no sign of AF though did feel very PMT-ey yesterday Sad

Statistically there must be a few more BFPs Smile so here's hoping...

Oh, man, sorry - missed several pages.

queenrollo I've had good results with a herbalist. It was for a hormone issue - i.e. pmt and acne Blush wasn't I lovely?! - and she got my cycle to 28 days, clockwork, and I had a 100% success rate on conception, I think due to that. (DH works away - we can, tragically, time these things accurately Grin - 2 pg with 2 tries, but I only have 1 DC.)

Indesit · 30/09/2010 12:10

Hello! Can I join the bus, kind of hanging on to the pole on the back wearing rollerskates? Smile
I'm TTC DC2, and want a June baby. My cycle timing means this could go either way - if I'm successful this month, then EDD would be 31 May! Otherwise it would be 1 month later, so just managing June! Grin
However...this is me.

Maybe, maybe not, maybe, maybe not, maybe...

queenrollo · 30/09/2010 12:02

well i'm having a consultation tonight with a herbalist, so hopefully she will be able to sort me out with a personalised treatment to help my body get back on track. Still no AF but this morning i feel like she might be on her way, or is that wishful thinking?

MoogHasNoBrain · 30/09/2010 10:12

Sorry to hear some people have to leave the bus..

I am just starting the 2ww - anyone else in the same position? I am not optimistic given that DH and I had a massive argument on ov day so didn't do the deed - we did manage to SWI a few times before though so might be in with a chance.

ravenlocks · 30/09/2010 07:58

AF, the tart, strutted in this morning. This was after my BBT teased me by jumping up.

So, I am leaving the bus. Been lovely travelling with you.

My cycle 6 resolution will be to relax and not thinks about it so much (yeag, how easy will that be, eh?!)

Good luck! Xx

mrsden · 30/09/2010 07:11

Morning,

Sorry if this post has TMI. I think AF has got me this month Sad. My cycles are always 30 something days so if it is AF it is early. I had mild AF type pain yesterday evening and had brown spotting.

This morning there was a lot of brown blood, but not the usual red blood when I wiped. It's strange because a) AF is early, b) I do sometimes get brown discharge for a couple of days before AF but not brown blood and c) I normally get sore boobs for at least a week before AF comes but my boobs only started being sore yesterday.

I would like to be optimistic and think maybe this is implantation bleeding but I know that is rare and I think that would be more like spotting than proper blood. So now I feel sad and fed up and think TTC is the hardest thing in the world. I know we've only been trying since June and that is no time in the scheme of things but it still feels like forever to me. I think I'll feel a bit better if the brown blood turns to normal AF and then I can start thinking about next month and join the July bus.

xx

Overthepond Congrats! I will let you add yourself when you are ready!

This is the second month in a row that I've had a horrible headache on the day I'm supposed to ovulate... does anyone else get this? Could it be a sign of ovulation or just coincidence?

Good luck to everyone who is testing! I feel a lot of bfps coming!

queenrollo · 29/09/2010 17:35

i'm having a rubbish day. My boobs are SO sore......i caved in and did the spare PG test this morning and still BFN. Of course i want to be pregnant but right now i'd settle for AF putting in appearance as the waiting is just awful. I want to get onto my next cycle so i can start temping and taking some herbal stuff to try and get my body back to normal.

I keep thinking too that what if i ov'd a lot later than i thought and so i could be pregnant but too early to test?
I really am going insane aren't I?

It's the not knowing that is really starting to affect me.

TKPepperpot · 29/09/2010 12:48

Mind if I jump on ladies (if there's room!)? This is the first bus for me but have been lurking for a while.

My stats:
TKPepperpot TTC#2 cycle 16 UCL27-28 CD15

The 2WW is so very long and lonely, I thought it would be nice to have some company along the way.

I had a CP in January so this might really be cycle 10 but all the same in the end really

mrsden · 29/09/2010 10:33

Sorry to hear that AF has arrived for some of you and you are leaving for the July bus Sad

I think I am 12 dpo and I am trying to resist testing but it's hard work! I know that if I did test today I would more than likely get a bfn so it's better that I wait until AF arrives or test on the day AF should have arrived. I have no symptoms, except for a slight crampy feeling that's been coming and going over the last couple of days. My boobs are a bit tender too but they always are the week before AF. If AF isn't here by Tuesday I will POAS but I have a feeling she will turn up and ruin my weekend.

Good luck to anyone about to POAS!!
