BFN again this morning, no sign of AF, tingling boobs, temperature up... it's all looking good, apart from the BFNs Confused. I OV'd somewhere between the 5th and 7th Oct according to blood tests and my luteal phase is usually 10-11 days.

Thanks for sticking around girlsworld, I think I'm gonna be on this bus so long I'll miss the July pulling out altogether! How's the bean? Are you having any strong symptoms yet? Smile

Girlsworld · 17/10/2010 19:30

I may have graduated but I'm still here for you 8rubberduckies! how are you doing? Any news? Smile

8rubberduckies · 16/10/2010 18:50

Helllloooooo... I'm still here, am I really the only person left on the bus? Sad

TerrysNo2 · 16/10/2010 11:41

Bye June bus - if there is anyone left. AF arrived today, maybe see some of you on the July bus. All those BFP's I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy and a cuddly baby in about 8 months time!!

8rubberduckies · 15/10/2010 10:33

Congratulations ilovebooks. Went for another blood test this morning and nurse said there was no point as last two showed that I had OVd (on 7th and 11th Oct), so as my luteal phase is usually 10 days long I should have a visit from AF any minute now. I will test again if she hasn't shown her face by Monday. Still crying all the time Grin

Good morning Ladies

I've only posted here a few times but just wanted to say congratulations again to all the BFP's and lots of luck to everyone else.

I am 3 days late and have had two positive tests now, so very pleased indeed!!
Reassuring to know that the symptoms weren't all in my head.. the metallic taste thing is still going big time and it's yukkkk!

Have a great weekend
xxx

Girlsworld · 14/10/2010 19:11

Thanks goldmaple and 8rubberduckies! Did another test today and BFP so I guess it's real... (it doesn't feel real!)also it feels a bit too sudden so it can't be true sort of thing. I have marked Monday as the official test day mentally, in case it's a dreaded chem preg. By Monday, if it is a CP, it should be showing negative on a test. Yesterday, driving along the motorway I found myself sobbing my heart out at a sad song Blush for no good reason, and it wasn't even a good sad song. I heard it again today and it was like Hmm? I sobbed to that?! So it must be the hormones...

Symptoms wise I feel slightly nauseous most of the time but nothing much else yet!

In the meantime sorry to hear AF has got you goldmaple but wishing you lots and lots of luck for the next bus.

8rubberduckies I really wouldn't be surprised to see you on a June antenatal. The tears, it's a sign, y'know! Wink

goldmaple · 14/10/2010 14:40

AF got me a couple days ago but just wanted to drop in and say congrats girlsworld, moog, mrswantstobeamum and broughthimround!!

8rubberduckies · 14/10/2010 09:56

I am definitely either due on or up the duff as I have tears in my eyes reading girlsworld and broughthimround's posts Grin Grin

Congratulations!!!!!!!

broughthimroundtotheidea · 13/10/2010 20:11

Well I think I dare to call myself a graduate now GrinGrin 3 positive test gradually getting stronger line each time and they were the cheap as chip (2 for £1.99) variety from aldi. 5 days late for AF and lovely big 9and sore) boobs. Hope to see some of you over on the June anti natal thread. Baby dust to all x x x x x

Girlsworld · 13/10/2010 18:44

Hi all, how are we today?

Congrats mrswantstobeamum! Excellent news!

Hang in there 8rubberduckies! Temps up is always a good sign.

Well, following a one day dip the other day, my temps went back up, so I did a cheapy test... and I got a faint BFP yesterday and another slightly stronger BFP today!

Am holding off graduating yet however until I get a proper, strong BFP, seeing as I have had a chem preg in the past and only ever got faint BFPs then (although they faded from the first faint BFP whereas the second one this time is definitely darker, so there's hope).

Still, not counting chickens and all that. I think I am 9 or 10 dpo so I'm not definitely there until a good strong BFP... [nervously chews nails] I'm going to try to hold off til tomorrow Friday before doing another test.

8rubberduckies · 13/10/2010 09:54

Congratulations mrswantstobeamum, that's really good news, and our grads list is filling up...

Another BFN this morning, but my temperature shot up as well, so mixed messages to say the least Confused.

I am going to hang out here [gets comfy in seat] and see what happens Smile.

TerrysNo2 · 13/10/2010 09:54

congrats mrswantstobeamum!!

I am on CD24 and still no positive OPK. Also CM has gone creamy so I think that I either OV-ed and didn't tell, or didn't OV at all. Will keep monitoring but away from DH now till Friday night so no SWI-ing for us. Sad

mrswantstobeamum · 13/10/2010 09:09

Morning ladies,

I tested yesterday and got a BFP, then again today with a different brand, and got another BFP! It looks like this is it for me Smile

Congratulations broughthimroundtotheidea! Have you gotten another BFP which makes you more confident?

inbetweener, I'm sorry to hear what happened. That must be so difficult. I agree that you should focus on taking care of yourself right now, and get back to TTC as soon as you feel ready.

TerrysNo2, any luck with a late ovulation? I would definitely recommend continuing to SWI as long as you are still getting negative OPKs. Getting a positive one on CD21 was quite a surprise, and I've heard of people ovulating even later in their first few cycles off the pill.

Good luck to everyone on the 2WW! Sprinkling baby dust around and hoping for some more BFPs!

8rubberduckies · 12/10/2010 21:21

Ladyshapes I just had a vision of myself being batted around the head with a baby's milk bottle by a very, very pregnant lady. Hope it isn't a premonition Grin

LadyShapes · 12/10/2010 17:45

I think I must have read too many grumpy threads on here about people being put out by friends and family getting pregnant without asking permission first! Will carry on shagging - but will set my big sister on you if you're wrong!! Wink

8rubberduckies · 12/10/2010 17:23

I hope I don't sound like I'm spouting off with ill-informed advice, as I don't know your family, but if I was your sister I'd be chuffed to bits to have someone close to share the pregnancy and parenting in the early days with... keep trying I say Smile

LadyShapes · 12/10/2010 16:01

8rubberduckies - Yeah that would be pretty ace actually and hopefully we'll end up with babies quite close together in age. And as soon as my AFs been and gone I bet I'll want to carry on trying! Just having doubts at the moment.

8rubberduckies · 12/10/2010 15:32

I bet it goes really slowly moog. I didn't know I was pg with ds1 until I was seven weeks so missed out on the very early days. I'm pretty sure that when I do eventually get pg I'll be a nervous wreck for the first few weeks.

Ladyshapes I don't know abut whether you could be pg or not, I know some people don't get a positive for ages, but not sure how long after AF due. Hopefully someone who is a bit more knowledgable will come along soon and let you know. Good news about your sister, you sure you don't think it would be nice for cousins to be the same age? Smile

LadyShapes · 12/10/2010 12:09

I'm on day 46 now - 11 days late and have done another test and got another BFN.
I guess if I was pregnant I'd definitely be getting a result now wouldn't I? It's not like I'm testing early.

We're going to stop trying for a while now and start again in a few months. My sister has just announced she is PG and I think it might be better if we hang on so we don't tread on her toes. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I was, but I wouldn't want to steal her thunder.

Congratulations to everyone who's got a BFP! I can only imagine how exciting that is!

MoogHasNoBrain · 12/10/2010 11:13

All seems ok today... just wanting to get past these first few weeks really and time is going sooooo slowly!

8rubberduckies · 12/10/2010 10:24

Hi moog believe it or not I forgot to test this morning! Up and down all night with an ill toddler, so my brain was in a fug right up to my regular strong-as-hell morning coffee in work half an hour ago! I will test tomorrow. Have your pains subsided a bit today? Hope so Smile

MoogHasNoBrain · 12/10/2010 10:11

Hi rubberduckies - that must be so frustrating. Have you tested again yet? Sorry I can't offer ahy useful advice as have never charted but keep us posted on how you get on.

8rubberduckies · 11/10/2010 21:45

Oh no inbetweener I am so sorry to hear your news, thinking of you lots Sad.

Good news moog Smile.

Well, this cycle is officially starting to do my absolute nut in now. FF has changed my OV day 3 times recently, so if it's right this time I only OVd 5 days ago, so have completely missed the boat, as the last time we BD'd was 4 days before that. I am sick and fed up of having bloodtests every 3 days (it's been 3 weeks now and I am now on very friendly terms with the nurse at the surgery, she'll be inviting me over for dinner next), so all I can think is roll on AF! I am going to test again tomorrow just in case FF has completely lost the plot, as I still think I OVd earlier than that, but I don't hold out much hope Sad

MoogHasNoBrain · 11/10/2010 15:53

Thank you Girlsworld. Rubbish test! having said that I now have period pains - on to the next neurosis!
