Hey, today is cd 32 and no sign of Af when should i test have been trying not to so am not disappointed, had mild cramps and boob pain yesterday but still waiting, usual cycle cd28-cd 30 guys help what to do???????

reallygrumpy · 23/10/2010 07:42

Hi stac yes, I started met 2 weeks ago and today I have to up my dose to 3 times per day. So far the side effects haven't been too bad (only 1 bad attack of 'met belly') and I've lost 5 pounds which I'm v pleased about, this is the third time I've been on met and every time I've lost weight. AF arrived yesterday but I've been told not to take clomid this cycle and to wait until I've been on met for at least a month. I'm hoping maybe the met will work cos I was taking it when I got pg with DD. Sorry, selfish post all about me!

stac14 · 23/10/2010 00:26

high that would suggest you havent ov'd this cycle, ask for progesterone to start you off

confu3edp have you tried taking clomid at night? It lessens the side effects. We all know what your going through hun and thats what we're here to support you with. I used to rant and rave all the time, ttc is a frustrating emotional rollercoaster try to relax {{{hugs}}} for you

nonu keeping fingers crossed for you

really are you still taking the metformin?

reallygrumpy · 23/10/2010 00:07

confused sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time, it's so hard. I had an awful last cycle cos the clomid didn't work and felt so miserable. I hope you feel better soon. I've taken a little break from ttc and it's helped.

higheels that's a v long cycle but even on clomid my cycles have been 42-49 days so I'm probably not much help, v frustrating for you.

confu3ed · 22/10/2010 23:30

Thankyou highheels! Hope your af comes soon as that is a really long cycle! X

highheelsandequations · 22/10/2010 09:20

(((Hugs))) for you confused, so sorry everything is getting to you just now.

Question for everyone, I had 3 cycles of clomid (32, 28, 29 days long) and fairly certain I ovulated on each. Before the clomid my cycles were 36, 45, 53, 41, 46, 46. Now I'm CD61 and no sign of AF and definitely not pregnant. Did anyone else have a really long/weird cycle after coming off clomid?

confu3ed · 21/10/2010 13:05

Hi stac 14 I am ok thanks!

I think I have given up on ttc though, seems pointless at the mo as it's not happening, clomid side effects are awful and the whole thing is stressing me out and causing probs at home. Apologies for being a misery but having a really bad day!!!

nonu · 21/10/2010 09:29

hey stac14 all is well it is just the same time of the month where i am hoping and praying that AF doesnt shows its ugly face, but trying to be positive about it, will keep u all posted........Smile

Lots of new people! Hello and welcome

Hi pops and lady

Glad you're both doing well. I've got under 5 weeks now (still can't really believe it), altho I've also got placenta praevia and breech so it could be a c-section. Not that I mind, so long as LO gets here safe.

Pops hope you've got those feet up! I'm not surprised you're getting stressed, you sound like you have lots on your plate. Getting past 'that day' will be another hurdle out of the way.((()))

babydust to you all xxx

Lovely to see some good news sunny, i completely understand you being nervous, i still am and im nearly 20 weeks! I will be keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you.

I have been reading all your posts, welcome to all the newbies:) I am sure you will be well suppored on here.

I cant remember who asked about metformin, but i also took it along with clomid. They werent very forthcoming in giving it me but i had 2 BFPs with it, unfortunatelty the first didnt last and im now pg again:). It took about 2/3 months i think. Good luck to you all.

Waves to Jo and Lady. Hope you are both well. jo you cant have too much longer to wait. How are you feeling? I am ok, as i said nearly 20 weeks!! Been really well as well until last week n im now off work with high blood pressure. They think its a combination of working too long and stress but they are keeping a close eye on me, lots more monitoring. We've had osted in and im at a similiar time to when i lost my little boy so they think its probably that.

Hello everyone else, hope you are all good [hsmile] xx
