Congratulation broken Smile

confu3ed I'd heard that too but they're too tempting aren't they?

Thanks stac how are you?

nonu · 23/11/2010 08:37

Broken congratulations, really happy for you, atleast somebody has got what they wanted........

confu3ed · 23/11/2010 07:12

Really the ovp are not 100% on clomid my consultant told me not to bother with them but I did this mnth and had a positive 2 days in a row is that even possible? He did say that you get false readings so who knows. It is so frustrating not knowing if you are ov or not, I went for day 22 blood yesterday and the stupid nurse couldn't do it!!! Nightmare as away on business for the next 2 days so that's another month of not knowing!!
Nonu fingers crossed for both of us! Finding it harder the longer this goes on with no bfp!

Broken congratulations you must be so pleased! :)

Stac trying to stay positive but after such a long time it's really hard! Keeping my fingers tossed though just in case!!!

Hello to everyone else x

Brokenbits · 22/11/2010 20:44

I almost don't want to post this as, after the last 2 years, I dislike pg announcements quite a lot. However, I just wanted to thank you all massively for all your support up to this point. Now I'm starting down another road of worry as it would seem I finally got my BFP. Never did I ever think I would be saying that rather than hearing it - and trying not to stick twos up at yet another bloody pg announcement.

I am stunned and shocked beyond belief and am fully expecting to wake up tomorrow morning with full-blown AF, or to find out that this has all been a dream.

I have everything crossed for all of us that Clomid brings us successful, sustainable pregnancies. I just hope this little bean is a sticky one.

boba82 · 22/11/2010 11:57

Hello all

grumpy sorry about the BFN. Totally empathise there are smug pregnant people EVERYWHERE just now!

broken sorry you're still not well' the weather doesn't help does it?

lady hope your scan goes ok. Are you going to find out the sex?

Got my urine results back. My last sample which was done Mon last week shows that egg was ready so prob have ovulated but 10 days later than I was expecting so didn't really SWI when meant to. We only did it twice last week so I'm most likely out this month. Hope AF shows up next week so I can get cracking again. 1 step forward 2 steps back AGAIN!

nonu · 22/11/2010 08:51

hi all, lady good luck for tomorrow, will keep fingers crossed for you

Sorry about all your BFN and confu3ed i am also around cd-20 and no signs as of now but i know it is too early too tell, hope this month gets alot of BFP in our group......

reallygrumpy · 22/11/2010 08:30

Morning all,

boba and broken sorry about your BFNs, it's crap isn't it? It seems so terribly unfair that there are people who get pg so easily and others (who would be such brilliant parents) who struggle so much.

confused the party was ok thanks, DD had a lovely time, we left just as she was starting to get over-tired and grumpy after lots of excitment and too much sugar. Next month's month 5 on clomid for me and I'm going to be scanned so at least I'll know if it works, I used OPKs this month but never got a positive.

lady good luck.

jobobpip08 · 21/11/2010 21:26

lady good luck tomorrow, fingers crossed all is well with a nice long cervix! xxx

Ladybird - I have no idea if IUI is something that they will offer me. Did you get it on the NHS? Did it work first time?

Bully Wow all that on the NHS sounds amazing! Hope my PCT is that good! How many months of clomid have you had in total?

Broken Great news about ovulation. Rubbish about being sick though hope you are feeling better soon :)

Hi Luce and welcome. There are loads of great girls on this thread and we all know too well the ups and downs of TTC.

Really how did it go? I hate the fact everyone is pg or have just had babies, it just seems so unfair :(

I am on day 21 and don't feel at all pg so cannot see that it has worked again for me this month. But trying to stay positive but not getting my hopes up as they have been shattered far too many times now. Next month will be month 6 on clomid!!

A big Hi to everyone else x

popsy1 · 21/11/2010 19:33

Just a quick post to wish lady lots of luck for tomorrow. I'll be keeping everything crossed for you Hun.

Welcome Luce

Hello to everyone else xx

Brokenbits · 21/11/2010 08:45

Welcome Luce.

boba and grumpy have we synchronised cycles? Sounds like we are all roughly in the same place. Spooky.

grumpy I also had a BFN this morning, but I shouldn't really be testing as early as 13dpo anyway. Don't know why I do it to myself to be honest. I still hold out until AF arrives before I believe BFN's. If I were you, I'd get someone else to take DD to the party. Events like that are just hideous when you want to stick your head under a duvet.

boba yes it is so hard and also impossible not to get your hopes up.

Waves to everyone else!

I've got rid of the sick bug, but we now have the horrible cold. DS is absolutely full of it and I just feel lousy. The spotting that I had for the last 4 days dwindled away to nothing and then stopped, so I'm trying very hard not to think about potential implantation. I don't feel remotely pregnant, so I'm guessing AF will arrive soon.

reallygrumpy · 21/11/2010 08:24

Hello all,

I'd been feeling a bit rubbish and stupidly got my hopes up. POAS this am and BFN Sad. I'm supposed to be taking DD to a birthday party this pm where over half the other mums there are pg and I'm not sure I can face spending the afternoon surrounded by bumps and baby talk.

boba82 · 19/11/2010 16:11

Hi all

Hope you're feeling better broken?

Welcome Luce

Well I'm not feeling v positive that Clomid's worked for me this month. POAS yesterday for first time in months and BFN plus don't feel like AF's coming either, pretty down Sad. Didn't want to get my hopes up but it's hard isn't it?

Luce2006 · 18/11/2010 16:49

Good evening Ladies Smile
I hope you won't mind me joining you!
I've just been prescribed Clomid by the consultant this afternoon. I'm on CD18 so I can't now wait for AF to arrive
I have a DS ,4, and we'd been trying for number 2 since last OCtober

Brokenbits · 17/11/2010 20:47

Hello all,

Sorry for the absence. Been struggling the last few days with a horrible D&V bug. Will be back when I'm feeling a bit brighter.

Had confirmation today that my progesterone levels were fine this month (1st time in 1 and a half years, so quite an achievement) and it looks like I ovulated. So, potentially good news. However, I've started spotting again. It's not very significant, but it's enough to make me think I'm out this month and question whether or not the 7dpo test is late enough if my progesterone levels decide to drop later.

Anyway, hope you're all as well as you can be. Sorry for lack of personal messages, but my bed is calling. Grin

BullyforVic · 17/11/2010 19:42

Hi,

Well went to hospital last week and she has given me another month of clomid but 100mg to try this time. After this she has suggested IUI. Apparently at our hospital we can get three goes at IUI or one go of IVF for free??!! She also suggested acupuncture so going for my first session on Monday. Has anyone else been offered IUI?

x

Ladybird10 · 16/11/2010 22:04

Thanks ladies, i'm ok, just trying to take it easy.

pops it's horrible to feel like i'm not in control. Just wish i knew what was happening down there. I am feeling alot better but still worried, i have my 20 week scan on monday so hopefully they will check my cervix to make sure it hasn't shortened. Fingers crossed everything will be ok. How are you feeling, have you got a big bump? Mines quite big.

stac i had last week off work but i went in this week. Just taking it easy though. If it gets worse then the doctor will put me on complete bed rest.

jo not long to go now.

confus3d will you not try iui before ivf? That worked for us.

Good luck to the ladies testing in the next few days.

Xxx

twolittlemonkeys · 16/11/2010 05:04

Hello, I'm new to this thread. I have 2 DCs (1 Clomid baby and 1 happy surprise)

Am on 2nd cycle of Clomid now, CD 22 after my first cycle resulted in a MC back in May :( I am feeling pretty rough right now and trying not to get my hopes up - probably just coming down with something. Really hoping to get a BFP before Christmas as I would have been due Christmas eve. Am a complete POAS-aholic (buy my pg tests in bulk off Ebay Grin) Must. Not. Test. Early....

confu3ed · 15/11/2010 22:24

Hello girlies!

I have no idea how long I am allowed to take Clomid for, I am going back to see my consultant in January and will have run out by then, Went to my GP and asked for an extra month and he gave me 3 months, so I guess I can take it for 9 months in total. But if it hasn't worked by then I must need to take something else.

Is that it then, this and then IVF? That is scary as it costs a fortune and cannot imagine this will be on the NHS especially as I will be 35 next year.

Lady - How are you doing?

Stac - WIll ask for metformin if I don't get a BFP before Christmas.

Having a good day today had a positive OV test yesterday and today which is a good sign methinks! Been SWI as much as possible and keeping my fingers crossed!

Really - Any news on your symptoms? Do you still feel sick?

boba82 · 15/11/2010 11:27

womanly POAS!!!! but I am a recovering POASaholic Blush

womanlytales · 15/11/2010 09:14

hi - did any of you have Clomid with an ovitrelle injection? I had the injection 2 weeks ago on CD 9... and then the progesterone test on CD 16 and CD 19 -- both were low - 5 and 6... and today CD 23 I have got spotting... it seems like everything is happening far too early in my cycle.....Feel like it's AF but on CD 23?? Grabbed the pregnancy test..and then didn't ... not sure if I should... or not?? What do you think?

stac14 · 15/11/2010 09:05

good luck nonu Smile

nonu · 15/11/2010 08:25
