I have booked my first accupuncture session for saturday so at leaast I feel like I am doing something. I am also going to get dressed and go for a walk- its a nice day :)

My bleeding has completely stopped now which is so much better than last time ( I had the MC medically managed in march and bled for 9 weeks) at least I feel partly human again xx

I know how you feel. After 12m of trying without success, DP and I conceived DD and it took me over a week to actually believe it.

Sorry to see temps dropping ifatfirst but the good thing is your chart looks like a textbook temp rise and fall and you've got a good length luteal phase. So it's just a matter of time. And who knows what tomorrow will bring?

battery I must admit your nurse's somewhat insensitive comment echoed with the thoughts I had after my last mc. Great that you're being referred early.

I didn't actually believe I'd end up as one of those statistics - apparently only 1 in 100 couples experience recurrent miscarriages (3 or more).

Where is orchid's chart? I need cheering up!

Oh digi, I'm so sorry hon. I know there's nothing I can say but we're all thinking of you. I really wish there was something I could do to make you feel better. Try and get as much rest as you can before the next scan.

Hugs Digi. I'm so sorry for your loss if that is what it ends up being. But the fact you have had one before is hopeful that you will manage to have one again and I think it is good to have a Plan B in case things don't work out the way you want. So many children out there desperately need a loving family. There has been too much sadness on the thread recently, I hope we all can find our happy times soon.

Have come home early from work again to lie in bed and ride out the painful cramping that has started. Started spotting brown, so I think I know what's going to happen now.

Miscarriage number 3

I think we're going to keep trying, have thought about ordering more internet cheapies and my thermometer never strayed too far from my bedside. But for the first time this morning I thought about adoption. I was thinking how just because we can't have another baby naturally, doesn't mean our family has to be complete. We're a few years off that solution, but it's a possibility.

I am doing 2 a day now batteryhen . I did read somewhere that OPK's don't work for some women so I am wondering if thats me?!?

(this afternoon I should say! Not been up long, shocked at the time )

split - your post made me blub a little bit :( but glad you and dh are talking :)am also glad that I am not the only one 'home alone' (apart from sleepy cat)

terrys - which opk are you using? clear blue reccomend early morning pee, but others reccomend afternoon pee. Some people pee twice a day as the LH surge can be so short.
It is a bit strange that my boss is also my DR but sometimes it works quite well as I can talk frankly and say what I want to happen etc etc....doesn't always work mind !

You are being so brave on here but don't be afraid to be low with us IYSWIM, we are here for good and bad times! I think its lovely that you have some real memories of Bobbie and some proof that Bobbie was here, even if for such a short time - you will always have that (and if anyone challenges Bobbie's existence, as I know you were worried about, show them!)

battery I know what you mean about being home alone... I am on MN ALL DAY at the moment which does lead to long postings! Don't apologise, we all need to talk. I'm glad your Dr is being proactive and referring you sooner rather than later. Hope they can be helpful.

Thanks to those asking after me. I'm ok right now, but generally very very low and feeling so hopeless. Had a long chat with DH about it last night which was good because I think we understand a bit better how each other is feeling, but hard as well when what I was saying made him cry

Our bereavement midwife came to visit on Monday and brought us the photos of Bobbie that the hospital had done. I was really scared to look because Bobbie was born on the Saturday and the pics weren't taken until Monday and I was worried about the pictures looking different to my memories. One of them I can't look at as it wasn't how I remembered Bobs but two of them are lovely. They're black and white and soft focus. The nicest one of a close up of just the tiny hands which are incredible for only being the size of my little fingernail. I've put it up in the lounge as a hint to people that I do want to talk about it all.

I found this which I was thinking of writing out and framing along with the little hand and foot ink prints:

batteryhen what a strange comment from the nurse - I assume she was trying to help but doesn't sound very positive. I always heard that third time is the charm! I'm glad that your boss/dr (isn't that a bit wierd?) is referring you, it can't help to get help as well as keep SWI-ing. Good luck! (PS - hope you OV at the weekend when flights are cheaper )

Orchid - am very of your neat chart - but also keeping fingers crossed for you.

OPK negative again - I'm wondering if these things just don't work for me. Should I try more expensive ones? Am hoping SWI every other day will cover my bases!

ladyG spoke too soon about the accupuncturist - they were supossed to call me back and haven't grrrrrr. I will get it sorted today !!

Not really any news - went to my gp today (saw differnent one not my normal) - sat down in the chair and cried. Great. But on the positive side he thinks my ERPC went well and nothing 'left so to speak'. Did a preg test with the nurse - which was faint pos so have to do one next week. Nurse was a bit odd - I said it was my second MMC, but the won't investigate till the 3rd - to which she replied 'well you should get cracking on trying again so when you have a 3rd they will investigate'. Thanks for that I said but I am rather hoping there won't be a third time......

Anyhow I got home and my boss (who is also my DR) rang and said she wants to refer me for bloods etc but to a different hospital where it is there policy to see anyone who has had miscarriages and is over 35 (am 37) so I feel a bit happier.

Started temping again yesterday - my temps are still up a bit from MC so hoping they will fall and I may OV soonish - my DP is abroad so we have to time our visits very carefully :)

Sorry for long post - its being at home on my own - I have nothing to do :(
