Choccie I get the bleeding between cycles too, usually before or around OV, sometimes it?s spotting, sometimes it's like a medium-flow period. It really upsets me too cos I feel like such a freak :( My GP said it was normal, which wound me up no end because I knew it wasn?t normal. We started down the infertility route earlier this yr and thankfully the consultant listened (my periods have changed in the last few yrs and are much more painful, heavier and longer). I've been told it's a small 1cm submucosal fibroid (inside womb) plus another subserosal fibroid (outside the womb). Fibroids are really common and usually aren?t a problem but the consultant I'm seeing is sure the submucosal one is affecting my ability to conceive. I am so relieved that she thinks she can treat it. I'm 35, TTC 18mths and I've never had a BFP. DH's tests were normal.

I agree with others about seeing a different GP and explain the bleeding is getting worse. I hope you get some help and I'm sending a big hug too x

Ell11 and teas massive congrats! Think April poised to be a baby boom! Although did you know we're going to miss out on the maternity grant by about a week?

Orchid looking at your chart you could have ovved on day 26 given the EWCM and OPK'k which would put your LP at 15 days now. I still can't help but think there might be a bean in there and just not showing up on the tests yet. Some womentake a long time to get a BFP, Sorry if this is giving you false hope but I would be hopefully even despite the BFN's if it were me.

choccie I think you should try to find a sympathetic GP. I don't know much about fybroids - could they have anything to do with the spotting? I occasionally start spotting as early as 8/9 days post ov - but from what you've said yours was even earlier.

empty I would try to hang on till 7 weeks if you can. So much better than working yourself up to a scan at 6 weeks and then being told it's inconclusive and you have to come back. Spotting is a nightmare and it can mean such a bloody range of things. I hope for you it means nothing bad at all.

Choccie your chart looks fine, so it's the spotting that seems to be a problem. I second your concerns about it and think it would be good to change docs and get a second opinion. That's not to say that spotting is definately a problem, so please don't worry, but it is certainly a good idea to get another view.

Digital my chart is here:www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1cb0e1 From what I can see I def did OV on CD24 (which is late even for me), although it could have been CD25 looking at it again. If I don't get AF by the weekend I will def think there is a problem. I had another meltdown this morning after another BFN and another high temp so have booked an emergency docs appt bec I can't cope with periods that range between 31 and 47 days. That surely cannot be a healthy range can it?

Empty, the bleeding has stopped now hasnt it? I would take that as a good sign, i had bleeding in two of my pgs and went on to have successful outcomes. I have a friend who bled so much and was in so much pain that she was absolutely convinced that she had miscarried but her hcg levels kept rising so they scanned her and sure enough there was a baby AND a heartbeat in there. I know its worrying, and i really feel for you (i have had two ms the last one being 2.5 years ago at 11 weeks) and its a horrible time :( I dont know if this is practical for you but have you thought about getting a private scan done to reassure you? I went for one when i was pg with DS after that ms and i was only 5 and a half weeks and she found a heartbeat (this is the exception rather than the rule i gather though). It might put your mind at ease to know what is going on in there perhaps?

Im definately going to join FF for next month - i have woken up bang on the 4am dot for the last three nights though so not so sure how accurate my temps are when i have gone back to sleep and took my temp at my usual 7am time. I have seen a slight upward shift in the last three days - correlating with the positive opk i got so i really hope i am 3dpo - is it normal to only get a slight shift upwards in temps or should it be quite significant?

Empty I had an early scan at 6 weeks with DD2 and there was just a sac with a tiny dot in it- had to go back at 7 weeks where there was a bean that was flickering with a heart-beat. It was an agonising week so waiting til 7 weeks is probably sensible. Fingers crossed for you.

So pleased for you teason wishing you the most uneventful 9 months!

empty if it's any consolation in both my mc's the spotting pretty quickly turned to bleeding, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Seeing bfps on here always makes me tempted to test. But thankfully it's far too early for such nonsense. Holding out till next Friday (15dpo) when I should theoretically see a dip in my temp.

I too got a BFP this morning! Can't quite believe it- after nearly a year I thought my one remaining tube may be a little worse for wear...

Spoke to the doctor on the phone this evening - she didn't seem worried really... said our EPU won't scan till 7 weeks anyway in case they can't see a heartbeat at 6 weeks and it causes unecessary worry - so it's just a waiting game I guess.

Spotting stopped within the hour anyway at least and it wasn't bright red.

I dunno.

Empty I second the others - go demand a scan at the epu. Will hopefully set your mind at rest xxx

choccie apologies if you've been through this before but have you asked to be referred to a gynae based on your unusual periods (spotting that much is not normal), and get fertility help that way?

orchid any chance you've mis read your ov date? I once thought I'd ovulated (even had positive opk) and had what looked like a 23 day luteal phase. Turned out (once I really thought about it) that I so desperately wanted my temp to rise after that positive opk that I started taking my temperature twice and recording the second higher temp. So it looked like I had a temp shift. Not that I'm saying you've done anything as desperate as I have, but perhaps you started taking your temps a bit later?

Feeling a bit more of the progesterone cramps. Funny how sometimes cramping can be comforting, other times it's bloody terrifying.

choccie I can't see your chart but I really do understand where you are coming from . Am sending a large glass of wine and a pack of choccie biscuits your way. I have the opposite problem at the moment. I'm now on CD 40, LP of 16 days, with no sign of AF. I have had this before (Feb), with an LP of 22 days which I KNOW is not right but which the doctor dismissed out of hand. My usual LP is 14-15 days. I'm booked in to see the doctor on Mon but actually think I may phone for an emergency appt tomorrow because I too am having regular meltdowns. I had got my head round not being PG this month, but now am faced with a silly LP and anxiety about just how long it will now take for AF to appear. Am so fed up with feeling like I'm not working properly. How long have you been trying?

Have a scan booked in on Tuesday at 7 weeks+1 I think it is. Waiting for the doctor to ring us back now. Spotting's since stopped but was more than last time I had it so I'm kinda doing my nut with worry about it all.

Sorry empty I crossed posts. Wittering on about orgasms and here's you terrified.

When is the first scan??? This part of pregnancy is totally shit if you've had a bad experience before - so sorry you're having all this worry.
