Danilou22 · 23/08/2010 17:17

Waving and also saying congrats.

Still not sure I have ov'd and not much to tell from me today I am afraid!

Hope everyone else is ok x

newyearsday · 23/08/2010 17:01

battery I'm waving and sending congratulations!

batteryhen · 23/08/2010 16:52

Hello :)

ladygonegaga my due date is the 1st of May. I am only just over 4 weeks so really early...trying not to get anxious about it all!

hippy - Yes we came accross each other on another thread, I had a MMC in March, and have not get any children ...yet!

I started charting because my dp lives abroad - so I wanted to time my cycle with my flights to see him ! Also I found it reassuring after the MC that I was ovulating again, as my first AF after was anovulatory.I really do promote charting amongst my TTC friends - after all its OUR fertility and why the hell shouldn't we be in charge of it!!

I am not familiar with everyone on this thread yet - but a wave and FX for everyone xx

hippychick66 · 23/08/2010 16:30

Congrats battery. The rate of BFP's on this thread is amazing.

Don't know your history, sorry. Is this your first pregnancy??? I think I might have seen you on the TTC after MC but I get confused with all the names on there. Any DC's already??

All the very best - hooray for triphasic charts.

LadyGoneGaga · 23/08/2010 15:25

Wow! Congratulations batteryhen! When's your due date?

I think charting is great. Seems to be an enhanced rate of BFP's amongst charters.

batteryhen · 23/08/2010 15:01

Just popping back to say thank you to ladygonegaga and theteasonme I posted last week to ask about my rise in temp and triphasic charts.Turns out it was a triphasic pattern and I got a bfp:) hooray for charting !

Ell11 · 23/08/2010 10:37

Hey lady he sounds like a good catch! Romantic proposals are overrated . My DH proposed in a beer garden, without a ring and the only plus was that we were on our own. The view was nice though I suppose!

Newyears hope you get a temp rise soon, waiting for OV can be as bad as the two week wait afterward...

LadyGoneGaga · 23/08/2010 10:11

I think when I said I would only have a small Guinness last weekend (had had a BFN but wasn't convinced)! And then pulled out all stops to find a babysitter so we could have a rare meal out.

Who knows on wedding thing, DP just went "could do" and carried on chatting. He is worlds most laid back man so would do whatever it was that I wanted IFSWIM. But I want a big romantic proposal rather than me demanding he make an honest woman of me!

newyearsday · 23/08/2010 10:08

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Salad and Digi sounds promising, I have my fingers crossed for you both.

Hope you had a lovely birthday hippy.

I'm on CD22 and am hoping OV happens today because I've had 4 days of OV pain and it's getting annoying! I had positive OPKs on Fri & Sat, so was expecting to OV Sat or Sun but my temp is still low Confused

theteasonme · 23/08/2010 09:08

Ooh, am so pleased for you! Wonder how he'd guessed?!

Good luck on the wedding preparations! Ha ha xx

LadyGoneGaga · 23/08/2010 08:49

It went really well. I decided to tell him in the car before dinner (in case he freaked or something!). So he read the card, didn't really get it. Opened the pres but rather than open the whole thing he pulls it from the end...removing the pee stick cap and grabbing the weewee end. But he thought it was funny. And was very pleased but had kind of guessed anyway.

And we had a delicious meal too - but I was a bit sad to miss out on the lovely wine.

Told my Mum and sis and his parents and brothers too. His parents were delighted but asked when we are getting married Shock!

theteasonme · 23/08/2010 08:14

You have to come back and tell us how it went LadyGGG ! x

Orchid12 · 21/08/2010 20:14

Happy birthday Hippy Hope you have a good evening!

Good luck to you too keep trying, hope you've got some good swimmers on your side.

I'm on CD2 so nothing going on here! Have ditched the agnus castus and EPO this month. AC didn't stop me having a 41 day cycle this month so am going it alone this cycle to see what my body can do by itself. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it does remember what hormones it needs to produce when (or if it doesn't that the blood test on Mon picks this up).

LittleSilver · 21/08/2010 19:59

Happy birthday hippy! I wish a gift-wrapped good egg for you xx

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 21/08/2010 19:09

Happy Birthday Hippy xx

I am paranoid that we starting SWI too early, and have wasted lots of precious swimmers and have only a few pathetic ones left for the key days(we're on day 7 of bedroom business - phew!)
I'm on CD16 and am not sure whether I've OV'd yet, temp rised slightly thi morning, but still below coverline. I never have much EWCM to get excited about, but do still feel rather wet - sorry Blush
I used to think that I ov'd on CD14, but charting has told me otherwise, anytime between 14 & 16.

So, wish me luck that tonight's the night, and there is still some lively sperm left!!!!

hippychick66 · 21/08/2010 18:33

Have a lovely evening gaga. I hope he is really pleased - all the best with the pregnancy. Smile

Saladbomb · 21/08/2010 17:20

It's not bluergh GeeGee but make sure you time the pee stick unwrapping carefully ie: before meal, after meal? and definitely not if there is a bread basket in the mix. :o

trying not to get too carried away here, got a whole other week to wait before I can realistically pee on my own stick.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/08/2010 15:47

Salad and Digi am getting excited for you!

I'm telling DP tonight. He's been away all week. I have a posh restaurant booked and a nice frock and have wrapped up a Digital peestick for him and a card from the baby (yes I know - bleurgh - but think the hormones have made me ridiculously sentimental). Can't wait to tell him - my second but his first!

Am getting crampy tummy and sore boobs but feeling ok so far. Trying to get stuff done before I start feeling like shit which I will.

Happy Birthday,Hippy. Was mine a few days ago and got my BFP which was the best pres by far. Hope you get one too in a couple weeks xxx

Oh, and bollocks to the not charting thing. What a d*ckish thing to say. I presume they've never had irregular sycles and driven selves mad thinking they must be pregant or they are late when they are nothing og the sort. OPK's never seem to work for me anyway. Dr Chris Steele is prob sponsored by Clearblue to flog more sticks to wee on.

hippychick66 · 21/08/2010 14:25

Hope the temps stay up salad. Yes I would love a healthy young egg for my birthday.Grin

Not doing much. I am going out next Saturday with my extended family for a big family day out. We were meant to be going to our beloved Isle of Wight this week but Hubbie was needed at work so we will go later in the year.

Am getting lots of kisses from my two boys (and of course DH).

Saladbomb · 21/08/2010 14:11

Aww loads of luck hippychick hope you get a good egg as a birthday present. Another slightly elevated temp this morning and i had some strange twinges in my lower abdomen earlier, ha, most likely just a bit of wind :D

are you doing anything nice for your birthday? (apart from SWIing that is?)

hippychick66 · 21/08/2010 14:02

Ps. Imagine how proud my DH is. he has managed to get an old bird like me preggo twice within 6 months!! Super Sperm is a term we use often!!!! Grin Wish the bloody eggs were a bit more super Sad.

hippychick66 · 21/08/2010 14:00

Thanks for the birthday messages.

Day 8 for me - lots of EWCM. Troops are in place.

I am determined to keep shagging every 2 days for bloody ages this month. I wanna be preg again (decent embryo this time please...)

Love to all xxx

emptyshell · 21/08/2010 13:20

teason my husband spent a fornight insisting his knob is now adressed as "super willy" and that it's worthy of a medal when I got the BFP.

As for the charting thing - Yahoo had something on its page a few days back when I was checking my Freecycle email on there with Dr Chris Steele (the This Morning blokey - dunno if he still is - I haven't watched it since I was a student) and his "tips to get pregnant". I was peed off by the end of it - he told you to basically buy a tonne of OPKs, and that temp charting was rubbish and not to bother. Funny how my chart spotted I was preggo before the test sticks did huh?

Grrrr.
