I am so sorry to hear your news Ell you must be so gutted Lots of love is being sent to you and your family.

Newyearsday I started taking the pill when I was 15 due to bad period pains, to be honest I can't remember what they were like before, I didn't keep track of them but I know I had them regularly but they could have been long cycles I suppose (not as long as this one!)

My cervix has now dropped and CM is a bit less and (sorry if TMI) not as slippery. My temp was low this morning but my other half did say I snored like a trooper so am wondering if that is why. I don't think oral temping is very good for me as I know that I do sleep with my mouth open and I do snore Blush I am tempting to use another method Hmm after I finally get AF. I really hope I have Ov'd now I just want AF to arrive so I can get on with the next cycle!

Bank Holiday wishes to you all x

newyearsday · 30/08/2010 11:36

Ell I'm so sorry to hear your devastating news. You sound so very strong, be kind to yourself and each other xx

Stealth Sorry I don't know Empty in RL either. We're thinking about her too, hope she's ok.

Dani thanks for catch up, what were your cycles like pre-pill? Hope OV did happen this weekend, you've had a long old wait!

LittleSilver · 30/08/2010 08:12

Oh Ell Sad that is awful and I am so so sorry. You're in my prayers if that's OK?

rosieposey · 30/08/2010 07:55

Ell11 I am so so sorry to hear your news, how awful for you :( I think you are very brave and looking at the fact that you have your beautiful girls is also a good thing but nevertheless you must be devastated. Please look after yourself and take it as easy as you can, your body and mind will take some healing - of course we would love for you to stay! Really though, for now please just take it as easy as you can. xx

Choccie i read that last week, it made me really sad. I have only had two MS which in the grand scheme of things (and 4dc's) isnt that bad and compared to some of the stories in that article makes me feel extremely lucky.

Salad i only made it to 13dpo as well as started red spotting last night and woke up to find AF had got me this morning. This is made all the worse by me taking a test yesterday morning and it coming up with two lines! They came up within 3 minutes and the second one was really clear, DH was over the moon but i was a bit worried as the background of the test hadnt gone white like usual and stayed pink and i have had this happen (poas addict) before when the pink dye has flooded the test and given a false positive. I rushed out and bought a FR and it was of course negative :( I took another one last night just before i started spotting and it was neg too. Bloody bloody test! That second line was pink and strong so im a bit Confused as to what happened there but never mind - am on cd1 again!

I finally started my first chart with FF, can you tell me if you need to enter your data at the same time every day or can you just enter it later and put down the time that you took your temp?

chocciechip · 29/08/2010 23:36

ell11 Logged in before going to bed to see how you were. I'm so so sorry to hear your news. x

Oh ell11 I don't know what to say. I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I hope your faith helps you and your DH to stay strong through this. Much love Bessie xx

Ell11 · 29/08/2010 21:52

Sorry- in hospital and trying to do this on my phone - it won't let me write any more than the above each time!

I have 2 beautiful daughters and through this happening I have become even more grateful to have them- both my tubes could so easily have done this before they came along. I had surgery to unblock them both which left me at high risk of ectopics.

It's going to be hard accepting that this is it now. My TTC journey is over. I think I'll be ok though. I'd like to stay here for a little while longer if that's ok? Just to see how you all get on! Might stick my oar in every now and again.
Lots of love xx

Ell11 · 29/08/2010 21:35

I don't quite know how to say this as I don't really know how I'm feeling. Bit numb. I had to go to A & E again last night but this time the pain was unbearable. The gynae consultant finally found the missing pregnancy sac outside my womb during a scan. They operated first thing this morning and had to remove my remaining tube as it had ruptured.

I am so sorry to be posting more bad news on this thread as you are all so thoughtful and caring. I know you are already worried about Empty.

I cannot believe the journey I've had in the last couple of weeks from the time I joined this thread - I was expecting to be with you all a lot longer!

chocciechip · 29/08/2010 14:09

I'm a week late with this article, nevertheless, I am posting the link here for others who have had MCs to read as well: Miscarriage: a mother's last taboo.

Sorry, i don't know empty in RL. Sorry to hear you're worried about her - hope all is ok.

ladygaga Glad to hear I have an underactive thyroid friend Grin My result was 9.07 and doc said it should be 0.4 - 4.5. Does that sound really bad to you or not too bad??? Be honest Smile

I really hope the tablets stop the feelings in my legs - they are driving me mad. Doc said she thinks the thyroid is causing the restless leg and tiredness so I hope it is resposible for the pin pricks in legs too.

dani Good luck with the SWI - you must be at your bloody wits end with ths cycle - Sad

LittleSilver · 28/08/2010 20:53

No Stealth at least not me, I don't know her in IRL Sad. Anyone else? Empty, it you're lurking you don't have to post, just let us know you are OK?

StealthPolarBear · 28/08/2010 20:28

sorry to hijack but can anyone contact emptyshell IRL? IS she OK?

theteasonme · 28/08/2010 19:13

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 28/08/2010 18:11

keeping my fingers crossed for you Ell11 x

LittleSilver · 28/08/2010 17:36

Ell souns utterly bizarre what is goign on, how upsetting for you. I am really glad you have a faith which is helping sustain you. Hope all goes well for tomorrow. Kepp posting!

Ell11 · 28/08/2010 17:32

Dani I don't know about being strong! Had a little cry earlier on! Just trying to keep it together I think- I have a faith which maybe helps me keep a good perspective on things. Though lots of people also manage to keep it together without any particular beliefs! BTW I conceived this month with no sign of EWCM, just wet, creamy CM.

I've had results of hormone test- 2600. It was 1600 two days ago and 760 two days before that so it seems to be slowing down. I've got to be scanned by the consultant tomorrow morning and be prepared for surgery if they find something abnormal. They seem to be just as confused about what's going as I am! I feel a bit like a freak of nature.

Danilou22 · 28/08/2010 17:29

FF has now said I have Ov'd, not sure myself but will have to wait and see

Danilou22 · 28/08/2010 13:39

You sound really strong Ell11!! I really hope you find out what is soon.

Newyearsday, When I came off of the pill in October it took 5 months for my period to return since then I have had some 35-40 day cycles and then after taking EPO (not sure if this is why) my periods have stopped again :(. They thought there was a strong chance I have PCOS but scan was clear and blood tests not conclusive. I have got to wait for AF to arrive and then have more tests between CD1 and 5.

It is great that something is happening ie more CM but I am confused that it is not EWCM but my cervix is very high soft and open?? I have not been thinking too much about temps at the moment as I have had a cold and know I sleep with my mouth open. I might start temping from the other end next cycle (eek)

Will keep thinking happy thoughts and think I might get the Agnus Castus out of the cupboard today and keep SWI!!

Ell11 · 28/08/2010 11:35

Hi all, had the scan which showed up absolutely nothing again. Got to wait for HCG results again. This waiting about lark is a nightmare. Saw the top consultant who said she'll scan me herself if the results don't show a clear miscarriage. They're not ruling out an implantation somewhere unknown... I'm ok about whatever they find. Will obviously be sad but have to fab DCs to make it easier. Just want to know!!

Dani I agree with Newyears, but your other signs look good so get at it!!!

newyearsday · 27/08/2010 22:57

dani I had a look at your chart and there's no 'thermal shift' so it doesn't look like you've OVed yet :(

Do you know why your cycles are so long?

digi take care, come back soon xx

theteasonme · 27/08/2010 22:12

Hey digi, don't disappear for too long. I totally understand how you're feeling and am always around if you feel like coming back Smile Take care of yourself xxx

Danilou22 · 27/08/2010 20:25

The nurse insited I had thrush once when I went for a smear. She swabbed and it came back fine.

Right ladies, I need some help and advise from all you wise people.

As I am sure some of you have read I am having the longest cycle in the world. I have agnus castus in the cupboard ready for me to take, however I am not sure if I have ovulated. I had some EWCM the other day (very exciting)but it only lasted for about a day. My temps have not really gone up, only a little but I have been ill and I am sure I am breathing through my mouth. I have had some aching in my lower tummy and now ( I am so so sorry if this is tmi) I have loads and loads of creamy white CM and my cervix is really high and soft.

So what do you think, have I ovulated? Am I due to ovulate? I am not sure what an abundance of CM means!! Blush

Any ideas greatly apreciated.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 27/08/2010 19:03

Good luck for tomorrow Ell11

I am officially narked with FF now - it's constantley changing it's mind on when I ov'd.
First it was CD14 - which was excellent, then CD15 which was good, and now it's says CD16 which isnt so good (didnt SWI on the supposed OV day) Angry

And I've had some serious symptoms to spot today, but now it's pushed me back to 6DPO I'm not so sure they were symptoms:
Very tired (have been most of the week)
Don't feel like stuffing my face as much as I normally would
Persistant, but mild cramps
Anxious/nervous feeling in my stomach (which I had before I found out I was PG last time)
Dry mouth & throat, eventhough I drink loads of water.
Watery CM (which I also had last time)

Now FF has blown all my excitement out of the water.

On another note, following my lovely smear on Tuesday Hmm, I took myself off to the chemist and bought some canesten cream following the instructions from the nurse as she seen some "ricotta cheese" up there, and found I don't have any of the symptoms described in the leaflet!! Confused
Where the heck am I supposed to stick this cream, as I don't have any itchy areas - sorry Blush
I think I may have bought the wrong stuff, as the nurse just said get yourself some cream! I've never flippin had it before, so I don't know what I'm buying. I even told the chemist that I didnt know anything was wrong until the nurse told me! Grrrr

digitalgirl · 27/08/2010 17:59

Started rtd this afternoon as temp predicted (one day earlier than last cycle so I got my wish not having to wait too long for it)

Always feel much more accepting of it all once I've actually got my period.

Will take a break from MN for a bit as I seem to be much more impatient waiting for the egg when reading of so many others ovulating around CD14.

Good luck to the rest of you ladies still in the running.

Best of luck tomorrow ell11 hope they find a shy little bean.

newyearsday · 27/08/2010 14:26

Ell11 I'll be thinking about you too on Saturday, fingers crossed for you xx

good luck rosie.

I've 12 days to go till I can POAS, so I'm going to try and wait till then. I did feel a bit nauseous this morning but at 5DPO I think it was just hunger!

If it doesn't happen this cycle I have to take some god-awful drug mid-Sept a month before the day op, which I'm trying very hard not to think about it.

Have a wunnerful bank holiday weekend all xx
