I haven't been posting on the ante natal thread as I've been away, but I might wander over there now and say hello. I'm still cautious about tempting fate, but I think I'm reaching the point where I have to admit I'm pregnant and if it doesn't last now then it's a miscarriage and I'd just have to deal with it. fingers crossed everything will be fine!!

LadyGoneGaga · 31/08/2010 14:00

Not too bad really. Bit tired, a little nauseous but nothing major. Having to eat regularly or start to feel more ill. Glad to hear all is well with you - let me know how blood test goes. Are you posting on April antenatal by the way?)

Wombat33 · 31/08/2010 13:54

Yes, blood test. They took my blood two weeks ago, before I knew I was pregnant and said the results would take up to three months, but I phoned them after I got my TWP to let them know there was now some urgency and they called last week while I was away to say the results should be back in two weeks from now. They may not be able to identify anything, but if they do then they can test by CVS or amnio to see if the bean has inherited it. We wait [anxiously] to see!!

How is everything going with you? How are you feeling?

LadyGoneGaga · 31/08/2010 13:14

Goood to hear from you, Wombat. Sounds like all going well thus far. So you must be due day before me! When will you get the chromosome results? How do they do that? Blood test?

Wombat33 · 31/08/2010 12:01

Hi all, just in case anyone is still reading this list I'm back from my hols and still pregnant (but in no way used to saying that yet!!) Grin Grin Have had several BFPs since I last posted but no sickness yet (long may that last). I'm 6+1 today. Am going to see my GP tomorrow and have an early scan in a couple of weeks. Still waiting on chromosome results but what will be will be on that score (she says trying to sound calmer than she feels!!). Hope all is going well for you ladies, both those with BFPs and those now on the May bus.

theteasonme · 26/08/2010 20:30

Sorry to hear that bzzbee hope you have more luck very soon xx

bzzbee · 25/08/2010 23:15

I'm off the bus, AF arrived last week.
Gonna forget about buses for a while, all too disheartening.
Good luck everyone and thanks for the company xx

LadyGoneGaga · 25/08/2010 16:33

Wombat, Wombat - you back yet? How's it going? xxx

Wombat33 · 22/08/2010 22:57

Hi all. I'm going to be away from the computer for a few days, so just in case anyone is still reading this thread, I'm afraid I won't be posting. Still no AF here so everything hopefully progressing okay :) See you all soon.

theteasonme · 20/08/2010 21:19

Fingers crossed for you wombat Smile xx

Wombat33 · 20/08/2010 16:31

Wow!! you managed to keep it secret from your DP all week!! Well done you! Lol to poas 'just to check' - my addiction is clearly catching!!

AF due today/tomorrow/sunday so still keeping everything crossed. Have had tummy ache now for 3 days and bloating and think boobs are getting a bit swollen :)

LadyGoneGaga · 20/08/2010 15:54

I'm fine, still not too yucky so not feeling very real and lots of knicker checking etc. Even POAS this morning as lots of internet cheapies to use up and wanted to "just check".

Telling DP this weekend cos he's been away this week!

Big hugs to you. I know how bloody disappointing it must be. Hope you catch that may bus x

ljg72 · 20/08/2010 14:34

Thanks LadyGG...and oh yes it's AF with a vengance!...off to Dr in a bit, they fobbed me off last time, but mc and cp in the last few months?? somethings up??.

Thanks for asking, and hope you are feeling well...hopefully catch you up soon Smile take care x

LadyGoneGaga · 20/08/2010 13:14

ljg - better luck for next month. How are you today? Was it def AF?

ljg72 · 19/08/2010 20:53

Wombat I hopefully will not see you on the May bus!!!! ( I mean that in the nicest possible way you understand Grin) good luck XX

Wombat33 · 19/08/2010 20:46

Bye ljg72 see you on the May bus (when I joined MN I didn't know how to calculate due dates so I joined that bus first and have been stradling two buses since they told me that actually I could be on this one!! :)

ljg72 · 19/08/2010 20:27

Evening all!, just a quick post to say bye, bye Sad.

Started spotting tonight, and have the worst tummy cramps, so I guess AF is coming before the morning! bummer or what!, sorry to put a depressing message on here but cant tell anybody in RL.

Congratulations to all the graduates! very high success on this bus!, and lots of luck for a healthy pregnancy.

Will hop over to the May bus in a bit, but will pop back for updates!...

Thanks ladies X

theteasonme · 19/08/2010 18:44

I'll just add that all 4 5 Blush of my cheap Internet tests have v v feint lines but the FR was clear as day this morning even though they're supposed to be less sensitive. I'm sure FR only have a 62% success rate 3 days before AF so even they aren't infalable.

I really hope you get BFPs in the next few days xxx

Wombat33 · 19/08/2010 14:57

LadyGG - Thank you! I need some sense talked into me!! "My name's Wombat and I'm a poas-aholic!!!". You are right, I am totally bankrupting myself on tests and driving myself round the bend (it's a good job my DH is overseas this week or no doubt I'd be driving him round the bend too :) ). I will try to slow down my complusive poas-ing. My in-laws are coming to stay for the weekend from tomorrow and then I'm on hols with my mum for a week from Monday (and neither of them have any idea we're ttc or about the genetics issues so I'm not about to tell them yet) so that will seriously cramp my style limit my poas opportunities. If I've still not had AF arrive by Sun/Mon I'll test again then. Hope I can hold out that long!

ljg72 I don't want to give you false hope but I've had a bad tummy for the last 4 days too. I read somewhere that it can be caused by the increased progesterone - it "relaxes" you apparently, which in most women slows things down iyswim, but in some can have the opposite effect Blush.

ljg72 · 19/08/2010 14:39

Used Predictor testerday, and sainsburys own today. Had really upset tummy all day as well, oh the joys!.

Wombat keeping everything crossed for you too!.

Thanks for the kind words ladies, really is a comfort XX

mamaof1wantno2now · 19/08/2010 13:12

hi can someone take me off the list please, thanks, congrats to all the bfps on the bus

LadyGoneGaga · 19/08/2010 13:08

Sfingres crossed for you but sounds like could be more to do with your level of hydration etc when testing, hon.

Don't test again for a good few days and let some serious hcg build up. You'll cripple yourself financially doing that many FR's for a start! You're still early days, not even late yet. Maybe try again Sunday or even later if you can bear it?

Wombat33 · 19/08/2010 12:54

First Response. I've done 6 of them over the last three days Blush Blush (my excuse is i need to tell the Genetic Service asap if I'm pg, but really it's more because I'm so excited/anxious, I kekep wantiing too check it's still there!). Results were all TWP within the time (am confident they're not evap lines): v faint one on Tues am, stronger one Tues pm, one v faint and one stronger one from Weds am, faint on Weds eve and even more faint this morning. Am just worried the Hcg levels are going backwards...

LadyGoneGaga · 19/08/2010 12:26

Congrats to teas Grin - I never doubted it!

ljg72 - what Wombat said. What tests have you used? Seems weird it would disappear so quickly.

Wombat what tests are you using?

Wombat33 · 19/08/2010 10:17

or Hmm even
