Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

that should have been Monday to Friday...fat fingers!

MadKatz · 08/01/2011 20:58

FF says best days areonday to friday this week for OV, just waiting for EWCM now.

lizandlulu · 08/01/2011 17:35

my nipples are sensitive too! my breasts usually never change, grow or anything. apart when after i had dd when they hurt like hell. but this time they are quite sensitive to touch

KLou111 · 08/01/2011 17:06

BTW, my nipples have felt like they've been on fire/chopped off for the last 2 days, bloody excruciating!!

KLou111 · 08/01/2011 17:05

I agree Liz. I wanted to know but DH didn't, but since talking to all the GP's-to-be, they've all said don't find out. It's one of life's special surprises.

Am addicted to fruit salad too, you and me seem to be on the same wavelength lol! I put a bit of natural yoghurt over it to give it a bit of bitterness. Craving sour at the moment, very odd for me. And yes, the chocolates are still unopened by me from Xmas!! Although DH is making his way through some of them which is very unlike him :)

lizandlulu · 08/01/2011 09:35

dont worry iwish i was exactly the same when ttc my dd. every month my af came i would be in tears, and on the 6th month when it came i had to go home from work cause i just couldnt do anything for crying.

no we are not going to find out the sex. dh wants to but i dont so thats finalGrin my mum says thta there arent many real suprises in life so i want to keep it till the birth. also when people find out i think it takes alot of the specialness (maybe thtas the wrong word but i cant think this early in the morning) out of telling people when you have had it. its like 'oh lizandlulu has had a baby' - 'ohhh what it is girl or boy?'

but when you know what it is its 'lizandlulu has had the baby girl' -'oh thats great'

if you see what i mean!

Iwish · 08/01/2011 00:19

At least it's put your mind at rest klou. You can carry on with enjoying your pregnancy now. :). And yeh I would love to be sharing news with you this month, as the months go on it seems to be harder when af arrives. I went to see a psychic a few months ago and apparently there will be a celebration in march

Thanks Liz, I need all the fingers crossed I can get lol. DP is even taking vitamins to see if it helps bless him.
Mmm fruit salad! I'm glad you are feeling a little better. At least you are eating healthy too. Have you decided if you will find out the sex when you get to that point?

lizandlulu · 07/01/2011 21:57

yes iwish fingers and toes crossed for you this month.

i am just sat eating a fruit salad, its the most boring one with just bananna, clementine and grapes, but most deliciousGrin

my evening sickness as starting to wear off, slowly but surely i am feeling better, but then all of a sudden i will feel like death warmed up

KLou111 · 07/01/2011 18:28

Feeling relieved Iwish and ecstatic!! Having a mother as a retired MW definitely has it's advantages! Although, she did make me worry too. But if she hadn't have kicked my arse, I would have just carried on worrying until my 12-14 week scan.
Really hope you will be sharing us some good news of your own this month x

Iwish · 07/01/2011 18:05

Hi all! Sorry I havnt been on here for ages.

klou so glad you got to see your little one, bet you were so happy. How are you feeling?

Liz it's good you feel shocking, its your little one causing trouble already :) Ooh and bet you are excited for the scan.

madkatz hope you are ok too. When will you OV?

Cd8 here so think I will OV cd16 ish unless I have a long cycle. I really hope this is our month, the due date would be between mine and DPs birthday.

KLou111 · 07/01/2011 17:15

Hi Liz you couldn't really make a lot out as it's still only 8 weeks, we could see a little heartbeat though and the shape of something resembling a baby. Picture I have posted to my profile page if you want a nosey (the separate round thing isn't the baby, just the bit with the measure on) but yours should be really clear, bet you can't wait!! I've got an extra week to wait now, but glad I go to see my little one now.

lizandlulu · 07/01/2011 16:54

wow klou thats brilliant! glad you have had a scan and seen everythig is ok. can you actually see what it is? just wondering what you can see cause i have never had an early scan, although with my big belly i am not sure they could find anything if i needed them to anyway!

KLou111 · 07/01/2011 16:18

Hi all, so sorry MadKatz really thought it was everyones lucky month :(

Sorry I have not been on here for a few days. Been feeling a bit scared and sorry for myself. Had a bit of 'brown' NYE night, then a bit Monday and ever 1st wee of the morning since (except today).

My mum demanded I get an early scan particularly as my symptoms had all gone, so I spoke to MW yesterday aft and she got me in this morning. Everything OK, we saw our little one and the little heartbeat!! Have fallen in love! Got a picture and everything. Dated me 8w3d (I knew I was a week earlier than my dates). MW been to see us this aft to book us, so it's all real now! Grin

MadKatz · 07/01/2011 13:39

Don't worry about moaning! Hopefully the scan will help a bit on Tuesday, just got to get through the weekend
x

lizandlulu · 07/01/2011 09:56

sorry to moan, but i feel shocking! got the scan on tuesday though which will make things abit more bearable if you know what i mean!

MadKatz · 07/01/2011 07:31

Hi Liz
Well AF finished yesterday so roll on next week!
How are you?
x

lizandlulu · 06/01/2011 21:18

hiya madkatz and iwish how are you both feeling?

GruffaloMama · 03/01/2011 17:41

Hi Madkatz & Iwish - really sorry. Big hugs. I waited a year when trying for DS. The GP referred me straightaway for some tests (specifically bloodtests for PCOS and subsequently a scan). She said that I'd probably be preg by the time we got the results (two months by the time I'd had a period and finished all the tests). She was right...

I think the time they start to refer you depends on your age and how 'seriously' you've been trying - I think if you've been charting that helps a lot. It might be worth booking an appointment for a chat - even if she/he says that you should keep trying for another few months you'll be on the radar if you need to go back - though I'm sure you'll be lucky before then Smile . To be honest if I'd been charting for 6 months I'd have gone back to the GP as I have a history of PCOS and I would have wanted to explore other options - like metaformin or clomid.

MadKatz · 03/01/2011 17:31

well, DH and I have discussed it and agreed to try a couple more months at least and then go see someone if no luck

lizandlulu · 03/01/2011 13:55

gp's wont do anything unless you have been trying for 1 year. but i sopse you could 'extend' the amount of time you have been trying? tell them 1 year rather than 7 months??

MadKatz · 03/01/2011 09:56

Thanks Liz. I'm a bit down about it but we were both so ill during OV I would have been really shocked if I was PG as we didnt get up to much. Roll on next week!

Just out of interest how long would you try without success before you would go and see your GP?

lizandlulu · 03/01/2011 09:36

Sad for you madkatz i am giving you a great big virtual hug Sad

MadKatz · 03/01/2011 08:21

Woke up with AF this morning Sad

MadKatz · 02/01/2011 17:11
