Mad you are obviously better at forward planning than me, I have to wash the pillow after Sometimes I am very lazy and just put pants on and go to sleep, but having had a UTI a couple of months back i do now go to the loo after half an hour or so.

I'm still feeling sick, its day 30 today, so if I've not got AF by the morning will be POAS. Swing from thinking I'll have a baby 'when I go to London in November' etc to thinking its another dud month

Liz I wait half an hour before I go to the loo and wipe, tend to just raise my hips slightly on a towel covered pillow and rest. Its quite nice as DH and I can have a good cuddle

ok ok it is me with the bloody thrush got some cream today but doesnt seem to be doing anything so far, might need more though, i only put a tiny tiny bit on as i dont particularily like using it (not that anyone ever does!)

tell me to mind my own business, but do you wipe after the deed? for the first 4 months i waited 15 mins then wiped, after reading what other people did, but in the 5th month when we was sucessful, i left it in there and didnt wipe at all. i dont know if its just coincidence or what but i did it even though i hated the feeling of being so sloppy down there, but i got desperate!

Hope all goes well with your scan Gruffalo, I would love twins. We've got them both sides, but only one heartbeat on my scan that sono lady could see, however she did say may be too early to tell!! (Not me with the thrush BTW :) been lucky so far)

yeah - my maternal grandmother and grandfather both had a few sets of twins as siblings. (They were one of 13 and one of 14 respectively - good Irish stock...)

I'm waiting to POAS, I tried on Monday as I had a Dr's appointment and again yesterday as I had a hospital app for injections into my neck - sorry tmi?

Both came back as BFN but then I'm not due until today of Saturday. However I do normally spot up to 4 days before my AF and there has been no sign so far. I am also feeling v sick so maybe??

Liz great to hear that the scan went okay - I guess that you knew you were pretty likely to get your date moved back a wee bit given they cycle you had.

Klou glad to hear all was well in the early scan - thrush though...horrid. Definitely get it checked out. You can also get it in your breasts (I know this from BF peer supporter course I did). But not sure if that is common before baby arrives. Might be worth mentioning to your GP/MW that your breasts are v tender - mine are too but only in the way that they were with DS, IYSWIM?

All well here. Sickness is fading (fingers crossed again). Had my flu jab on Wednesday - made me feel rotten on weds evening but fine since then. Scan tomorrow - very nervous. Am terrified it's twins. But even more terrified it's not really there and I've imagined everything.

Know exactly what you mean with having a baby in there confirmed, I was worried at first she wouldn't find anything in there, but alas, little one was there :)

well, went to the scan and the sonographer said i was measuring 10+6, not 12+6 like i have been thinking, but in reality i knew it was coming. it was too small to do some of the tests though so got to go back in 2 weeks time. i saw the heartbeat though and could make out the head body and legs but it was very blurry.

made it all so real though, i saud to dh in the car on the way back, 'i have actually got a baby in there!' he looked at me like i was divvy, but it just confirmed in my head that it wasnt all a dream

No, unfortunately, the MW only came out Friday so she said they'll send it in the post in the next 10 days or so. Less of a rush for them now as I am a week earlier than my dates show, so I OV'd a week later, which is what I always thought anyway.

brave and abit stupid do you know when your scan is?

Apparently some women just get it. I'll still be a bit unsettled though until I get to the 12 week scan, even though I've seen everything's OK 5th???? She's brave!

give you a rest though hey? no really, is there any reason for the brown or is it just one of those things? i have a friend who is pg with her 5th and she has bled on and off with the last 4 babies, nothing wrong, just something her body does.

ha ha!! DH going a bit insane as we got told not to DTD until a week after my brown had totally gone. Got a bit this morning, so there's another week!!

Sounds like thrush to me. MW went through it on booking, only other thing is STI but I assume it's not that!!

tmi but i think i have thrush i am not particularily itchy but very sore and tender when wiping at the loo. not sure if it is or not. not sure what else it could be, any ideas?
