Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

today i've had an upset stomach, not nausea ... don't want to go into TMI but the other kind of upset stomach. could this be a sign or have i just caught a bug? bf had a bit of a stomach bug last week

i dont feel pg but every little thing is making me wonder !!

lizandlulu · 13/09/2010 21:17

Wobblewatcher · 13/09/2010 21:07

Well AF not due until Friday but since weekend I have suffered the following:

Sore boobs (very sore)
Pain in ovaries
Tiredness
Back pain
Uncomfortable stomach

If I'm not pg then there is something wrong with me Sad

Will test Friday, can't wait although it's my daughter's 3rd birthday tomorrow so that's a distraction!

petitech · 13/09/2010 18:46

sorry Blush just trying to make everyone see the ligher side, Grin, happy Monday everyone!

lizandlulu · 12/09/2010 22:27

petitech as if the thought of checking cm isnt gross enough, you have to throw that image at usGrin if my af does come this month i have decided to scrounge a taking charge of your fertility book. shall know this week as i am due around thurday. off to bed now, night all!

petitech · 12/09/2010 17:40

welcome [love4lady], [goldmaple] i think some things work for some people and others don't... i can't really get the POAS Ov tests to work but this microscope thing seems to work, also find it hard to track CM too... weirdly apparently you can also spot the similar patterns if you put CM on the microscope lens... although probably doing that and then doing the saliva test not the best idea lol!

love4lady · 12/09/2010 17:14

hi all

bf & me are TTC for our first baby. i'm 30 and he is 27, my wee toyboy! we started TTC in August. after a life time of being ultra careful with condoms etc somehow i'd always thought would get pregnant the first time we had unprotected sex. but not so far!

good luck everyone & congrats to cowboylover - quick work!

xxx

goldmaple · 12/09/2010 14:47

wooo... petitech fern like patterns in the saliva... you know what to doWink

Thanks for the link, I might have to get one since the OPK never give me a + though CM and temps say otherwise.

petitech · 12/09/2010 13:02

ps.... saliva test update it does work... in line with my dates I should be ovulating the next few days and sure enough the saliva forms fern like patterns on the minimicroscope, amazing really! Here's some info www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/ovscope.html if anyone is interested! Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

petitech · 11/09/2010 12:17

congrats cowboylover...your 'justbeingashagger' method obviously worked :-) Good luck with everything...how many months had you been trying for? Good luck everyone else who is waiting this weekend....I'm back on ovulation week, feels like a merry(ish)-go-round!

lizandlulu · 10/09/2010 22:37

ohhh thats not fairrr!!!!! you said you wouldnt leave usSad Sad Sad

cowboylover · 10/09/2010 20:18

Liza I went for the test at the end of the working week instead of the weekend as promiced and clue blue in words said Pregnant!

I was so shocked I called the nurse who said I could pop in and see her just said congratulations! And agreeded a line is a line!

So excited now and DH is thrilled its just so hard not to share our news with the family yet.

I will lurk for a while and good luck to you remaining x

BabsH · 10/09/2010 06:47

Good morning :)

Big congrats cowboylover will keep my fingers crossed for you for the next test on the weekend, so exciting!

I'm not testing or anything as AF is still showing no signs of arriving anytime soon!

Hope you all have a good day, I have a half day off work, so going to have a mooch around the shops in Perth, cannot wait!!!

goldmaple · 10/09/2010 03:46

YAY!! cowboylover that is such great news. A line is a line! :)

I have been getting cramps... so AF is probably on the way :( early too...

lizandlulu and wobblewatcher lol... I have watched that show as well. I would think after missing a couple AFs and gaining lots of weight most people would figure it out... some people are just not intune with their bodies

gruffalomama I also have the 'taking charge of your fertility' book and love it! I used it for birth control for 6 months before TTC because I hated being on the pill. lots of usefull info!

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 22:28

Fancy giving birth and not knowing you are preg-that could NEVER happen to me Shock

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:58

well it is technically the weekend tomorrow after workGrin

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 21:51

Im not going anywhere for a while!

I am worried its a evap line and been googling maddly and its not a silvery line as mentioned but a very pale pink line that DH can see as well.

I dont want to get to excited and over the top I just want to go with it and see what happens. DH said he will treat me to a Clear blue digi on the weekend if I promice to wait to do it again!

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:27

i am just tormenting myslef and watching some programme on home and health about women who give birth and dont even know they are pregnantShock

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:25

congratulations cowboylover!!!!!(smile) are you going to leave us now and join all them other threads about morning sicknessSad

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 19:32

DH just looked at it and agreed that there is defo a line now but I have remembered the dont look after 10 mins thing so maybe I should not have showed him that!

I think its a sign Gruffalo as I put my deposit down on a tattoo I have wanted for about 8 years and I will have to wait a little longer if its real!

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 19:18

Oh wowser cowboy lover that's great news. A line means BFP, no matter how faint. Congrats!!!!!!

GruffaloMama · 09/09/2010 19:16

Fantastic news cowboylover. A line is a line!

Am feeling a little less blue but have had some spotting (though not my usual start to AF - way TMI, sorry). So will not assume anything and trying to hold off testing until Saturday. I did order Taking Charge of Your Fertility and a microscope thing today. So either I'll get a BFP and have wasted my money but I won't care. Or I can start the charting thing which will make me feel like I'm doing something positive. So not bad either way.

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 18:27

Well I said I would not test again til the weekend but I cheated again as it was staring me in the face this morning and we have a 2 line situation!

Its a very pale line but a line none the less so waiting til DH comes home and see what he says. No getting to over excited as I still dont believe it or think its real. Its so early

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 17:39

Well done landl positive thinking-everything crossed!
