Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Hubbies coming home tomorrow Grin

GruffaloMama · 27/10/2010 21:42

Hi all

Madkatz - well done for seizing the moment! Wink

I think I'm about to get fertile... so time to get jiggy... and no visitors to inhibit. (Just a toddler!) Good luck all!

Morning All,

Not sure Liz what to believe now. Am on FF which seems pretty accurate this cycle so far but I still don't understand how it works it all out when my cycles are never the same length, my temps are all over the place, etc. Which is why I am watching my CM carefully and also the saliva microscope. FF always gives you a 5 day time period as the best days (so does the saliva monitor) but I keep reading that there really are only about 2-3 days when its the best time. FF predicts my next AF as 13th November - I'm not normally superstitious... but the 13th!!!!

Ooh KLou bet thats not been easy. Before we were TTC DH and I always tried to refrain when we had visitors but on the odd occasion when we couldn't help ourselves its not easy to do (neither of us are quiet in the bedroom - sorry if thats TMI)!!! We haven't had that scenario (yet) since we've been trying but we have got people staying over Christmas if it comes to that Blush

KLou111 · 26/10/2010 22:56

ooooo you little minx!!! Shock GOOD GIRL!

Been trying to quietly bonk these last few days with BIL being here as apparently was my most fertile time, typical!

lizandlulu · 26/10/2010 22:48

wow madkatz hope you hit the right spotGrin does that mean that you have ovulated already and have got to wait extra long for the next expected (or not!) AF?

MadKatz · 26/10/2010 09:08

Hi Mama, my weekend was great thanks, didnt do much but went walking on Sunday which was nice in such lovely sunshine.

Liz I know what you mean about feeling more in control when you are temping and things, I feel the same.

Really wasn't convinced when I looked at FF on Friday: I'd only just stopped bleeding on Thursday and it said best days were M-F this week - I never normally have that short a pre-ovulatory phase. However, EWCM last night at about 9pm and with DH away now until Thursday night.....needless to say we didn't get much sleep last night Blush

lizandlulu · 25/10/2010 19:50

gruffalomama i ahve taken my temperature 5 times and its been 35-36 every time. nearly right off the bottom of the chart, its not making much sense, but i am sure it will once i get into it. dh thinks i am obsessing about it what with taking temps and everything, but to be honest i feel less stressed out about it as i feel more in control. i am not stressing about it, as i know more about how my body works and how the cycles are. tiem will tell anywaySmile

glad you all had nice weekends

KLou111 · 25/10/2010 17:46

Had a lovely weekend. Been to the beach a few times to clear us all out which has been lovely.

BIL been here, and still here til Weds so has been nice to 'take my mind off things'!!

Although, hubby and I just took dog for walk through forest out the back of our house and I almost jumped his bones!!!

Can't stop me thinking about it all completely :o

Had sticky CM yesterday, sorry if TMI, not sure what that is about, not had any CM since coming off the pill end of August, but sure just ovulated a few days ago so may be to do with that.

Hope you're all OK x

GruffaloMama · 25/10/2010 16:49

Hiya - lovely weekend doing very little... How was your's madkatz?

Liz - my temps get down to 35.5c sometimes - it's off the bottom of most of the charts. Is your's similar?

MadKatz · 25/10/2010 08:49

no your not just cold liz it happens sometimes.

Everyone have a good weekend?

lizandlulu · 24/10/2010 20:23

well theres the downside! preggers for christmas but also heavily pregnant all through summer!

i have remembered to take my temperature for 3 days now and all 3 times have been the lowest on the chart, am i just cold?

GruffaloMama · 22/10/2010 21:18

ooh - that would be lovely, wouldn't it? here's hoping for lovely July babies for us all!

lizandlulu · 22/10/2010 21:07

ohh yes never tohught about doing that, waiting till christmas day, sounds lovelySmile here's hoping!

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 19:40

A Christmas PG would be fab, I TOTALLY agree, nothing could beat that x

MadKatz · 22/10/2010 15:58

Good Luck KLou, hope it is the right time for you. Sounds like that pain may have been ovulation then.

I'm fine, looking forward to getting on with it this cycle - would be lovely to be PG for Christmas and to be able to tell everyone on Christmas day

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 15:51

Well, according to my obsessing on the internet today about when I should be ovulating, I am apparently in my most fertile period now :)

I wonder then if that was me starting to ovulate last night with the pain in my right side (which is slightly still there).

Here's hoping :o

How are the rest of you today xx

KLou111 · 22/10/2010 10:27

lizandlulu sorry for confusing you, I'm confusing myself!! I did mean pregnancy so am on the wait for a couple of weeks now. Gruffalo explained about the 2ww thing, so think it would be a waste if I test now like you said earlier.

Am now on day 18 of cycle, it's my birthday on 1st Nov (CD 28), so may test then - what a birthday present that would be!!!!

Still got a bit of a dull ache on the right side of my belly which is odd, hopefully something good is happening in there.

Madkatz good luck this month, everything well ans truely crossed for you x

MadKatz · 22/10/2010 08:52

Morning All,

Well AF has finally stopped late last night so here we go again.

lizandlulu · 21/10/2010 22:27

klou11 do you mean test for ovulation or for pregnancy? sorry all this complicated talk has lost meGrin

gruffalomama yes i thought of doing that, moving up a degree. the thermometer i bought only shows in celceius (sp?) and have looked at the lower temps chart and thats in farenheight (again sp?)!

KLou111 · 21/10/2010 20:53

my 1st cycle after withdrawal was 35 days so day 17 ovulation would be 18 days prior to AF. That is if my 2nd cycle is the same.
I agree with the snoozing thing, don't you wish we could fast forward to the preggo bit :) (Not that I'm not enjoying the BD-ing)

GruffaloMama · 21/10/2010 20:44

Might be - depends on your normal cycle length - or it could be implantation cramping... Keeping my fingers crossed for you. The 2ww really is bloody horrible. There ought to be some way of snoozing through it. I'm working my way up to ov week - prob next week and then I'll be right there with you...

KLou111 · 21/10/2010 19:33

Looks like I'll be waiting a couple of weeks then :(

Had right-side-of-belly cramping tonight, I read that could be ovulation??? Am on day 17 of cycle so surely this is a bit late?
God, am looking for every single sign, this is driving me insane Confused

GruffaloMama · 21/10/2010 19:27

hi all - think I'll be here for a while yet too! Work crazy - too busy even for MN...

Madkatz so sorry about the chemical pregnancy - big hugs. I hope the bleeding's sorted out now. I'm convinced I had a chemical preg cycle before last. Too many pg symptoms for even me to imagine them all ( you can't imagine constipation - surely...) My AF afterwards did last longer and was a couple of days early, though not especially heavy.

Klou I reckon the two week wait is from the day after you ovulate (which iirc is usually between 10 to 16 days before your AF is due). Some of the early tests can work a few days before your AF is due but I've heard that they can be a bit unreliable - I think the hormone levels sometimes aren't high enough so you get a false negative. But those little spermy could be doing their thang! The wait to test is vile.

Hi Liz - welcome to temping!!! If your standard temps are lower than the chart you can just move them all by a whole degree, iyswim? So pretend that 35.4 is 36.4 - as long as you're consistent I don't think it matters. I'm doing it on the TCOYF website - you can plot online and it works out when you ovulated etc.
