Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

well keep thinking good things gruffalo. i know loads of people who have bled on and off all the way through their pergnancies, it doesnt always mean the worstSmile

hmm klou no idea, i dont know how long after ovulation implantation would happen so i cant be of any help, sorry!

still no af for me, i am guessing that i ovulated on the sunday i was in new york, but only going by the wet vaginal feeling i had, which was really late, 2 weks later than usual. but seeing as af still hasnt come, i am thinking that might be right. it will be 2 weeks on sunday since then, so am going to test again on saturday if af still doesnt show. i am hoping that i am right, and that the copious amounts of sex we had that week has done some goodGrin

(well done if you read all that and follow!)

thanks for your hugs - really do mean a lot!

Hi Klou - Take That gotta be better for Christmas no 1 than awful Simon Cowell drivel... Not sure what the streaks might be - seems a wee bit early for implantation but you never know?

Today things seem a bit better. Spoke to the Early Pregnancy Unit last night. I've had a bit more spotting last night - a bit heavier - but no cramping. Midwife seemed to think that as long as it was 'old blood' (sorry a bit grim) and I didn't get cramps it could just be extended implantation spotting. I can do a test again in a few days to check I'm still preg. And I can go in for a blood test for reassurance if I want - they can't really scan yet. So hopefully it'll be okay. Have been feeling really nauseous today and boobs tender when feeding DS so hoping those are good signs...

KLou111 · 18/11/2010 17:03

lol!! I do at the mo. Trying to do our house up (old barn, and they didn't convert it very well). Having massive conservatory built at mo so we're on hold til that done as our whole downstairs will go in there before we can start downstairs, so yes I am a bit bored!!

AAAAAAAAANYWAY....Went to loo earlier and wiped and had discharge with brown streaks in it. Not sure what it is as supposedly only OV'd Monday, so only 3DPO.

Any ideas??

lizandlulu · 18/11/2010 15:50

you have too much time on your handsGrin

KLou111 · 18/11/2010 12:00

Big hugs gruffalo x

lizandlulu · 17/11/2010 17:08

ahh big hugs to you gruffalo dont think the worse though till you know what happening. fingers corssed for you x x x

GruffaloMama · 17/11/2010 13:45

it's all worth it, isn't it. things not looking rosy here. Have been spotting for the last couple of days. Really think this one might not stick. Tried to call the midwife last night but no answer. Feeling pretty low.

KLou111 · 17/11/2010 10:15

Me too. I don't care if it's the most uncomfortable thing in the world, it's just what's to come I'll be thinking of :)

lizandlulu · 17/11/2010 09:20

to be honest, i hated being pg with dd. i had all the horrible symptoms, back ache, heart burn, no sleep, constantly needing the loo, and i remember saying to someone who asked how i was, that i felt awful and cant wait for it to be over. i definately didnt bloom! but if thats what it takes to complete our family, then so be it.

MadKatz · 17/11/2010 08:42

Ditto Liz, not lookig forward to being pg in the hot weather, but more than anything I just want to be pg!

lizandlulu · 16/11/2010 14:18

i know what you mean eaglewings i was hoping to be pg before now as i didnt really want to spend the hottest part of summer heavily pregnant, now though i just dont care!

KLou111 · 16/11/2010 12:35

Sorry eaglewing September is still Summer so fingers tightly crossed for next month :)

eaglewings · 16/11/2010 11:36

Thanks for asking, sadly its full blown bleeding and cramps today although I kept hoping all day yesterday.

Feel much sadder this month as I really hoped for a summer baby (selfish I know) and felt that there was a real chance. Still, there must be a good reason it didn't implant if I did conceive.

Onto the next cycle and Boots to get the Persona sticks Confused

lizandlulu · 16/11/2010 11:25

have you had any more bleeding eaglewings?

KLou111 · 15/11/2010 19:47

Could it be implantation spotting?? Keep thinking positive x

eaglewings · 15/11/2010 19:06

:(

Had a nap yesterday afternoon (post Sunday lunch) went to bed feeling pregnant, eg feeling sick etc - woke up feeling v different. Now started spotting so expect it'll start in the next day or so as usual.

Never got a bfp as it was too early to test so could all be in my imagination

KLou111 · 15/11/2010 17:25

Sorry about you BFN's MadKatz x

lizandlulu · 15/11/2010 16:44

madkatz, i have read that bit too, sounds promising, but i am trying not to think about it! dh is going away tomorrow on a lads holiday till sat so will be kept busy enough to take my mind off it i thinkSmile

good luck to everyone else this time round.

GruffaloMama · 15/11/2010 16:03

thanks all.

Sorry Madkatz - might be your body adjusting after the chemical preg? So hopefully this month will be normal and good to go.

Liz that definitely sounds convincing - and good timing. Klou hope the little swimmers are doing their thing.

MadKatz · 15/11/2010 16:01

Liz, according to 'Taking Charge of your fertility' travel can play havoc with your cycles and can cause late OV's and AF's, so I wouldnt be surprised.

KLou111 · 15/11/2010 15:38

Hopefully liz not long to test if so :)

lizandlulu · 15/11/2010 14:57

i am starting to think i ovulated late. i had ewm last sunday while i was in new york, but seeing as it was so close to my af being due, i didnt think nothing of it really. so if that was late ovulation, that would explain why my af hasnt come. we did lots of bd'ing from the monday when i got back, so might have caught the time right ifswim?

MadKatz · 15/11/2010 13:20

Congratulations Gruffalo

Tested Saturday and yesterday, both BFN's so now assuming it was an odd period and starting again.

Good Luck girls for this cycle x
