Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Oh, forgot to say, I don't know HOW many times was asked if I was 'with child' at NYE party (I'm usually the entertainment when I'm drunk). Why is it when you don't drink everything thinks your preggars?? Think they all clicked but we kept our mouths shut.

Happy New Year to you all!!

Gutted for you Iwish really really sorry. Hope that January 2011 is the month for you, keep us all updated.

Any news Madkatz?

At parents at the mo, Mum has started kntting a bonnet! So cute. Started in green, ran out of wool, then white, ran out of wool. Is only a practice one as she hasn't knitted in a few years, but it's gorgeous. She's just shown me all the patterns from when we were all born, scary how old they all are!!

Kinect looks loads of fun Liz, I've got a wii and got a few games for Xmas so can keep a bit fit!

lizandlulu · 01/01/2011 17:47

Hi klou aww I'm glad it went ok with your parents, they seem lovely.

Hi Liz I bet you are excited for the scan. Let us know how you get on :)

The witch arrived this morning. Wasn't happy at all. Couldn't even tell DP till about 2 hours ago so when I did tell him the flood gates opened when I was driving, not good as i couldn't see lol.

lizandlulu · 31/12/2010 14:15

and thinking of you both iwish and madkatz dont lose hope, it will happen soon i am sure of it.

i have finally got a scan date, its on 11th of jan. i will be nearly 14 weeks by thenShock it just doesnt seem possible!

KLou111 · 31/12/2010 13:45

Don't give up yet Iwish, the red witch not here yet. Fingers crossed!!

Well, told the folks, my Mum (the Midwife) already guessed boo!!!! When we got there, mum said I looked as if I'd lost weight (yeah goodun!) and when I refused a choc chip soft cookie, she knew something wasn't right lol and said have you got something to tell me. I just ignored her and said I am a bit full at the minute.
So just came out and said about 30mins later 'Well, we've got a bit of news.....' and before I even finished, she said, 'I'm right, I know I am!' am the screamed the house down, poor Dad didn't even know what we were talking about!! She thought I'dlost weight through morning sickness, which I haven't had yet thankfully! Even though I have put on 3lbs in 3 weeks!!
She's already been to Tesco this morning and had a browse around the baby stuff, and Dad has been ordered to get the knitting needles out of the loft!!
'We'll buy the pram' I think was the first comment out of my mums mouth! Then said it will be the most ruined baby next Xmas.
PIL are thrilled too, when DH said we had some news, his mum went into panic mode saying 'What? What's happened?'
Told them the news and were totally shocked. I went off to bed at 11:30pm and the rest of them came up at 3:30am after celebrating!!
DH just told his bro (they're in Thailand 7hrs ahead so bit tipsy for NYE!) and they are very happy.
My 2 bro's are also in Thailand on hols, but can't get them, gutted.

Anyway, sorry for long post.
Hope you all have a fantabulous New Year, and fingers crossed for you Iwish and Madkatz

xxxxxxx

I've only forgotten to take it once (try for me) im usually rubbish at things like that, have to remind myself a million times to do stuff.
I agree it Is great knowing what your body Is doing, I was suprisingly happy when my chart showed I had OV'd.
I will bear that in mind if we don't get of in the next few months and take them to the docs.
Aaarrgghh I'm getting so fed up!! I just want to be a mum.

lizandlulu · 30/12/2010 20:42

well charting is a bit strong. i did take my temps for a couple of weeks, then went on holiday nad lost track of it so it didnt do anything for me. luckily the month i started temping was the month i got pg so i didnt need to carry on, but i was definately geared up to start doing it again the month after. i felt more in control while doing it tho, like i knew what was going on in my body which helped me.

it did say at the start of my book that if you have been charting for 4 months and not got pg then to see a gp and take your charts so they can see you are giving it the best possible shot. i dont know if the gp's would look into tests etc sooner after charting, but the book definatelt gave that impression.

Iwish · 30/12/2010 17:46

Hi Liz. This is my first month charting, I'm on another thread and some of the ladies have been helping me out. Really feel like af Is on the way tho also feel quite sick and yukky. Feeling sorry for myself today :(.
Did you chart?

lizandlulu · 30/12/2010 15:11

Sad for you iwish how long have you been charting for?

Iwish · 30/12/2010 12:56

8 weeks wow that's gone fast! So how did your parents take the news?

Well I'm 11dpo here. my temps have dropped and i have cramps so back to the drawing board for me just waiting for af then onto month 6. Gutted :(

MadKatz · 30/12/2010 06:18

Good luck with telling your folks KLou xx

lizandlulu · 29/12/2010 22:01

ahh klou i hope you can say all of that in the right order and not stutter and stammer like i would and get all tongue twistedGrin i bet everyone will be thrilled.

i know what you mean about not being able to suck it all in anymore. i said the exact same thing to my sis in law on monday. my belly has always been there but io have always been able to hold it in, not now though!

KLou111 · 29/12/2010 19:28

8 weeks yesterday :) Starting to feel 'hard' already. DH thinks it's very odd lol. I'm not what you would call fat, but have a small podge and have always sucked in my tummy for as long as I can remember, but can't even do that now!!

Iwish · 29/12/2010 19:23

Aww that's so sweet :). You will have to let me know how it goes.
So are you about 6 weeks now? :)

KLou111 · 29/12/2010 18:58

Well, we're going straight from Wales to my mum and dads in Warwickshire as I want to tell them first. Think just going to say something like 'There was more than one reason that we wanted to have a Xmas on our own this year, one because it was our 1st one in Wales, but also it was because we were hoping it was going to be our last one on our own, and on 10th December we found out it was going to be.' and see if the penny drops, something like that anyway. :)

Then going to DH's parents about 7 miles away.
DH is going to tell his parents and prob say we have a belated Xmas pressie for you both, but you can't have it till August :)

Iwish · 29/12/2010 18:47

Hi klou aww how are you going to tell them? I bet it is so nerve racking telling them.

KLou111 · 29/12/2010 18:19

Glad you all had a great Xmas.
Telling the parents our news tomorrow they will all be thrilled, especially as it's the 1st grandchild both sides, but we're still nervous to tell them. How daft is that???? Xmas Blush

Iwish · 29/12/2010 13:21

Cooking for 7 madkatz! flippin eck! I can't even cook for 2 lol. My DP does all the cooking and I go everything else.

Well good luck for 4th jan. I'm going to test sometime this week, af due on 3rd.

hope you are all ok x

MadKatz · 28/12/2010 18:45

My Christmas was lovely, I was very spoilt with presents this year. Cooking for 7 was a doddle this time round (dodgy meat last year)so I was quite relaxed!

FF says I'm due on the 4th January and determined not to test before.

lizandlulu · 28/12/2010 13:39

afternoon all. i am at work today and am pleasently suprised to find i havent put any weight on, i thoughti might have from the way i feel. my gut is sticking out and i cant hold it in like normal (painting a lovely picture i know!) i feel massive already.

Iwish · 28/12/2010 13:23

Iwish · 27/12/2010 20:52
