Happy Birthday Ajay How lovely to see the gorgeous little man in his pics VJay He is beautiful, and you must feel blessed to have him Smile I hope you all have a wonderful day, and enjoy celebrating.
I loved your message this morning VJay, could just imagine you sitting there on the computer with wrapping paper strewn all about Grin

Can't be long as was ds's first day at his new school today and he's being quite clingy. He had fun though which we are v relieved about!

Louey Thanks for the CM advice. I didn't realise green tea helped, that's great as I drink it most mornings anyway Grin I started as part of my health kick, and then got used to it, and now really like it, as long as it's not too strong! Glad the acu went well, and I bet your tiredness was to do with it. I really hope it works, and bring on those symptoms!

Blue Sorry to hear that little Ben is ill, those blasted ear infections can be horrible Sad Poor little mite. I hope he's feeling much better very soon, and of course that his sleep goes back to normal too!

Cupcake That's so lovely re little toes being like pearls, baby feet are oh so kissable Smile It gives me a lump in my throat thinking that this time last year you didn't know you were pg - wonderful things do happen sometimes Smile

Am stood here scoffing a bowl of chocolate covered cornflakes which I discovered in the supermarket earlier - they probably came out in the UK ages ago, but they are new here and very delicious! Afraid I must go now as need to go and help ds with his new toy - I took him to the toyshop after school and he chose it and paid for it himself (with money Daddy gave him). He is so grown up! Sorry for not catching up properly, but I should be back on within the next couple of days... Hope you are all okay! xxx

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY AJAY Smile Smile Smile Hope you're having a wonderful day. Saara send a special birthday kiss to youSmile

I also want to say well done to you vjay you're a fabulous mum and one I look up and you're always around on here to help everyone

We're still busy with Ramadan and fasting but its coming to an end next week so busy buying and wrapping presents and then have to get a start on baking cakes and other unhealthy goodies to feast on.

We're also looking for a holiday to celebrate Saara's 1st birthday and to commiserate the end of my maternity leave before I go back to work in the first week of October

Will be back soon

mermaidspurse · 01/09/2010 14:48

louey tis a very good sign that you were sleepy.

vjay omg he is not a babyShock lovely pictures, we grow them well on this thread eh?

loueytbg · 01/09/2010 14:26

I'm back for CAKE!!!

vjay he's so cute Smile Birthdays are always emotional and even more so when you have had such a battle to get there.

blue ow ow ow poor B. Really hope he gets better soon.

cupcake I'm glad you had a nice time camping despite the sleep deprivation. Hopefully it was a mere blip on J's part. I know what you mean about having a sleeping child and then it all goes pear-shaped. It happened to us a few times and I was similarly upset and stressed. Makes you appreciate the times when they sleep! Your MIL sounds ace though.

mls clown-themed picnic??? Do tell - are the kids not scared of them. I always get warned if there are going to be clowns at parties as lots of kids don't like them (not mine - they're not scared of anything apparently [rolls eyes] Did you try and get some gaviscon on prescription?

curly hope you and curlygirl are getting more sleep.

sabs PMSL at you posting on the wrong thread...and not just any thread either

neeko 5 months already - I can't believe that! I joined this thread when we were all waiting for babyneeko to arrive. Hope H is sleeping a bit better for you. Thanks for the update on gracie

barbie hope you are having a fabby time and thank you for bringing some sunshine Grin

4ever I had to get my wedding ring resized after having DTs - It was always a bit tight and I waited for ages after I had them but my fingers never seemed to go back to their pre-pregnancy size.

lbm how is the school clothes sorting going? Have you had to buy much new stuff? We've realised that we haven't got enough for DTs as they are going to nursery 5 mornings from next week (previously they only went 2 afternoons). Only problem is you have to buy the uniform from the nursery and they are shut until term starts Confused.

moon how exciting about the wedding date. Please post (if you don't mind of course) the hotel so we can all help you plan more Grin Biscuit about no symptoms. I think I'm a few days behind you this month. AF due Monday-ish

monkey hopefully you won't need this as you will be shortly up the duff again Grin but drinking green tea is supposed to increase CM production and taking robitussin will thin it out and make it more friendly for the sperm. I think evening primrose oil might also help CM production. I tried the green tea before when TTC DTs but I confess I don't like it much at all. It did seem to work though. If you can't get robitussin over there, you need to find some cough medicine which contains guaifensin (the active ingredient) and ideally nothing else.

Waves to iggy, bq, mermaid and anyone I've missed.

The accu went well although not a lot of accu went on as we spent a lot of the appointment taking a history. He suggested having a 20-min nap that afternoon but I couldn't because I had to go shopping straight after. Weirdly I was really really tired that afternoon so I don't know if that had something to do with it? Anyway, I have my next appt on Friday night and then he is on holiday for 2 weeks. He said that I was very stressed and found it difficult to relax which is fairly accurate!

Currently 8DPO and starting to symptom watch....nothing exciting but I don't feel as rubbish as I did during the last 2 cycles so that is an improvement. Vitamin B complex is making my wee luminous yellow!!!

VJay · 01/09/2010 11:19

Lbm i think j didn't like the cot at first cos he flung his arms out like he was startled then started crying so i tried the old rolled up blankets on either side of him trick and seems to be working! dunno when i'll remove them though!
he only woke at 3 & just now, yay :)

blue i just love baby feet too. an old lady said to me the other day that the toes from underneath are like little pearls which i thought was so lovely! bless B with his infection :( hope u both start getting more sleep soon.

heard from curly yest who is trying to finish her dissertation while curlygirl is waking loads too (have all the babies been conspiring?!) so no time for mn but she sends her love.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AJAY!! :)

littlebellsmum · 31/08/2010 21:40

Just want to wish AJay happy birthday for tomorrow - hope the whole family has a lovely day, Vjay and enjoys the cake. If theres any left, bring it on here!

cupcake thats such a shame that the little man had a bad time on holiday - theres no where to hide in a caravan is there. Lucky that you have a lovely mil
I'm impressed that you've got J into his cot - Our baby J is in her basket in the cot. I've tried to take the basket away a couple of times and she won't settle. Hopefully, she'll get used to the big cot, before she grows out of the basket. I've moved into the spare room with her too, so its been musical beds here

Blue enjoy the moulding. I just love their feet too - for me its because they are so soft and unused. Unlike my 6 yr old who picks her and they are a scabby blistery mess...

Got to go - back to school in 2 days and there is a pile of uniform that needs sorting!

bluesatinsash · 31/08/2010 21:01

One final thing, had a big Grin re: Ajay having two b'days like the Queen!

bluesatinsash · 31/08/2010 20:59

DS2 not DD2 - doh!

bluesatinsash · 31/08/2010 20:58

Vjay - sorry I've not been on honey, Ben has been v. ill with ear infection and his sleep has gone to pot = my sleep has gone to pot!!

Anyway,I wanted to post to say how excited I am that our first cypber nephew is a whole ONE tomorrow Smile (thanks for vino and save me a slice of cake).

You really gave me hope watching you go through your pg with Ajay having had two mcs. I remember those worrying early weeks when you were bleeding, the 12 scan when you dare to breathe a little easier, the 20 week scan when you found out you were having a DD2 Smile, the countdown, the EDD that came and went Grin and finally our little Ajay was here Smile.

Have a fantastic day tomorrow, will be thinking abou you lots and lots and give Alexander (Sunday name cos its his b'day after all!) a big fat kiss from me xxx

cupcake - lovely to hear from you and Shock Envy that Jude's been sleeping 7am - 6am at 11 weeks!! I know that's no comfort when his sleep regressed but it sounds like he's back on track. Operation plaster of paris commences at 1200 hours on Sat afternoon Grin. It will be a muckle mess but worth it to caputre those chubby wee feet of his Smile.

Big ways to everyone esle, gotta go and check in with DH. Just spent an hour getting Ben down full of calpol, teething gel and his anti-biotics for his ears - my wee maaaaan..

VJay · 31/08/2010 16:17

You've given me goose bumps cupcake Smile
I will post a pic of Ajay in his dressing gown and slippers Smile
I've just finished icing his cake and my kitchen is a right old mess, more wine methinks, it is the virtual wine at the mo Wink

Also on the subject of anniversaries...just a couple of days ago was a year to the dasince we conceived J...also while camping GrinWink I had no idea at the time that I was pregnant while Ajay was being born :)

cupcakefairy · 31/08/2010 16:09

x-post Vjay (that took me ages!)
Awwww how nostalgic to be thinking about this day last year... I remember it well us getting so excited!
You must post a pic of Ajay in his dressing gown and slippers once he has them Grin

cupcakefairy · 31/08/2010 16:08

I'm back...sleeping baby but for how long??

We have been having a difficult couple of weeks actually. J was sleeping 7pm-6am for ages then all gone wrong 2 weeks ago...think it is combination of 12 week growth spurt and a cold he has had. He's been feeding so much more (ouchy nipples!!) taking 1-2 hours to get down to sleep with lots of screaming (we've tried doing it earlier & earlier incase he's overtired but making no difference) then waking around every 2-3 hours at night and refusing to go back down... all feels just like the early days again and I'm walking round like a zombie.

I ended up crying about it in the caravan one evening when he'd just taken ages to put down & I was so stressed the whole site could hear him crying & that I wasn't getting to enjoy my holiday. Was a bit Blush as that's the first time I've cried about not coping (apart from obviously, the days of nursing my fanjo Wink) and was in front of MIL...but she was v understanding as apparently dh screamed 24/7 as a baby Grin

Anyway, fingers and everything else crossed, J seems to be turning corner now..up 4-hourly night before last and 5-hourly last night, phew. We put him in his big boy cot last night though, in a gro-bag and everything and he has jabs Thurs so will prob continue with disturbed sleep Confused
We're giving the moses basket to friends due in Oct so no time to grieve over it!! Grin

Ooh, sorry for that ramble..just wanted to let all the sleep-deprived mummies know I totally feel their pain now!!

I shouldn't complain though as he is just the loveliest baby during the day. He was a delight while camping. We had no rain, yippee! :) and J smiled and chatted through the few days, loving all the attention from his granny & granddad. Will have to put up some pics of him; he looked so adorable.

Neeko yay to the long sleep! Was it a one off??

Vjay thanks for chilling the wine Grin how's the diet? Hope it's scrapped for the birthday party! I'm gutted I forgot to weigh myself at my parents' on Sunday (we don't own scales!) ...so will have to wait another couple of weeks. I'm aaaaalmost into my 12 jeans though.

Moon YIPPEE for setting a date! I'm so excited! My sister has given me a crafty project for her wedding in April and I am beside myself to get started Grin LOVE weddings.

Louey Eek to awful ovulation pain...and Hmm to having appendix out when it might not have been needed!! Pompoms out for you.
Grin to not being able to watch The Wire once the DTs were older! I watch BB in the mornings with J and dh totally disapproves! I reason that at least it's the repeat so all the rude bits are cut out Wink

Speaking of BB, MLS thanks for the updates :) I'm loving Ultimate BB! Brian is just as funny as I remember.

Barbie glad you arrived safely. Apparently we have this weather in store all week so thanks for packing the sun Grin

4ever So glad biscuit coped well with her jabs. Dreading J's. We also don't think his christening can be the same day as Summer's now :( cos BIL is away travelling & dh wants to wait for him to get back but we don't know when it'll be Hmm

monkey are you back at work now? Really really hoping that colleague's announcement comes at the best possible time (there won't be a good time of course but you know what I mean) Don't be ashamed to have a good cry and let it all out. Praying this is your month.

BQ welcome back!! So sorry about your bereavement :( The girls are right it's DEFINITELY time some of you vacated that small pant bench. Come on BFPs!

Blue are you knee deep in plaster of paris? Grin That sounds so much fun.

Lol, a rather loud bottom burp just came from the direction of the baby; think he has woken himself up Grin

Much love to our MIA Emmsys, thinking of you all.
