Hello Ladies.....

Anyone else in the same Boat??

CD16 for me, OV'd (as far as I can tell) on CD14. Had the whole EWCM thing but am so obsessed with this TTC thing that I am (for my sins) using the CBFM and trying to get my head round temping - its like a full time job ATM.

So I'd say I am officially on the 2WW.....

Didn't particularly enjoy the last 2WW as it was my first month TTC so was totally convinced I was PG the day after I OV'd - silly cow - I had fabricated every symptom you could think of and was truly suffering - in my head!

So this time round I am determined to try and take it easy, hence the reason I am on a cirtual Cruise.

Would love to meet the other passengers and share 2WW stories, worries and joys. If you fancy it come aboard.....

nomorechocbiscuits I'm so sorry.

fingerscrossedgirl I understand the fear of the loo totally, but also really wanting to go and check too! You're right tho, it's so nervewracking... Good luck!

Curious, you never know, I thought those guys could stay around for 5 days, so don't go getting lost out at sea quite yet!

As for me... got a faint BFP yesterday (this test was possibly a day or 2 early tho). I can't believe it's happened quite this fast but don't know how to think as it's following on from 2 quite recent miscarriages so I just hope this one can stick. I am going to test again in a few days and really hoping for a fat bold line then.

curiouselle · 09/08/2010 12:28

It helps when DH is not 200miles away when you are ovulating (I think, pants seem to indicate so anyway).
Will the little guys have held on since Friday morning - I think not!
I am declaring this month nullandvoid out to sea, and will have to hop back on main deck next month, am still hanging around to hear the gossip though and pass round wine!
(just wait 1 week and listen to me make up pregnancy symptoms)
Hope you are ok nomorechobiscuits?

fingerscrossedgirl · 09/08/2010 10:26

AF didn't turn up this morning so now I'm completely unable to concentrate on work... I'm sure she'll appear during the day, but in the meantime I'm scared to to to the loo in case she does turn up! And there's always the chance that my cycle isn't as regular as I'm hoping, post-Pill, which makes the whole AF due-date a bit dubious anyway...

This TTC stuff is so incredibly nerve-wracking. It's líke doing the lottery - the first time you do it you're 1000000% sure you're going to hit the jackpot and don't understand what could possible have gone wrong when you don't!

cowboylover · 09/08/2010 09:13

StormBird · 09/08/2010 08:27

nomorechocbiscuits I'm so sorry, that is crap, it doesn't matter 2 and half weeks or not. HUG! Hopefully it was just your body making a good decision that it wasn't meant to be this time. Look after yourself!

cowboylover · 08/08/2010 21:58

Congratulations NoMore!

Well after a slight mis-calcualtion of dates and my last post on here saying I was going for my first 2 week wait soon I am now over a week late so might not get to wait at all.

I have not tested and dont think I want to as im not seeing much of my DH for the next week and dont want to be on my own what ever the news is. Im just so scared!!

Symptons have been a slight sicky/seasick feeling constantly, spotty, dizzy and more than tired with slight pins and needles in my boobs but they could also be PMS. Confused

fingerscrossedgirl · 08/08/2010 21:04

AF due tomorrow morning - lots of tingly/scratchy sort of sensations in the general uterus area and the odd cramp. Probably strange PMS symptoms; we'll see tomorrow... Won't test until at least Wednesday (I say that now, haha)

StormBird · 08/08/2010 19:57

Congrats nomorechocbiscuits thats fabtastic news.

AF got me......day 28 at 10am as per friggin usual. somethimes I can't believe I'm so regular.

So I'm stuck in the boiler room now until I OV. Then I'll join you all back on the deck.

I've loads to catch up on on this post, have been away so will read through everything as soon as I unpack

Hope you're all well

Thanks, Curious I actually lost it this morning. Only had it for 2 and half weeks, but man it still feels utterly utterly crap!
I think it was that nasty kidney thing I had, so am going to try to extra healthy so that it doesn't happen again.

curiouselle · 08/08/2010 15:29

WOW congratulations nomorechocbiscuits that is soo good!
Fingers crossed for you natimum!

I am pretty sure I am ovulating today and DH is away, we had sex on Friday morning, do you think there is any chance??? He doesn't come back till Tuesday, ugh :(
Is it silly to still hope?? Blush

Remember when you were young and you thought that if you so much as brushed past a boy without protection you would fall pregnant -HA!

naitimum · 07/08/2010 15:18

congrats nomorechocbiscuits!
I'm still waiting to test again. I feel awful today and nearly fainted cos we had lunch an hour late, but I don't know if this means anything... I just really hope so!! Wink

MrsWajs · 07/08/2010 11:55

Oh duh just noticed you said 8 days late already!!

MrsWajs · 07/08/2010 11:55

Shock oh my god NMCB congratulations you are the second person that has happened to today! Fingers crossed for it still to be the case with me in a few days time!!

BFN again this am, how late were you just out of interest??

fingerscrossedgirl · 07/08/2010 10:28

Fantastic, NoMore! That's brilliant news Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 07/08/2010 08:44

BFP, time for me to walk the plank. Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 06/08/2010 18:01

Me too MrsW, no Af for me either. still stubbornly showing BFN though (8 days late now). If you looked at a test 24hours after peeing, it doesn't mean a thing. It'll just be an evaporation line. Fingers crossed you get that BFP next pee Smile

MrsWajs · 06/08/2010 15:48

Still no AF here.....POAS that I did on Wednesday changed overnight from a BFN into a BFP but not sure how significant/relative that is since it was 24 hours later!!

I am on tenterhooks!!

fingerscrossedgirl · 06/08/2010 11:36

naiti I did the same - POAS'd this morning BFN) but not due on til Monday. Still hoping!

naitimum · 05/08/2010 15:23

Sorry to hear your news page and flightattendant, but best of luck for your future tries!
good luck to everyone else! In a moment of weakness yesterday afternoon, I POAS'd and it was a BFN. It was way too early (not due till at least Sunday - I can have quite irregular cycles) and also a freebie test so I don't think it was very sensitive. I'm not feeling as sicky now though, just really shattered, but hope that's a good sign.

twowoulddo · 05/08/2010 00:25

Hi all, I came here last month on cycle 1 when was also convinced was pregnant! We only decided to TTC half way through cycle so this is cycle 1.5 for me.

I am CD24 6DPO on a UCL32. According to everything I can read we DTD enough at the right times so very much hoping for a BFP. if I can hold out til 22nd (never gonna happen!) will be exactly 2 years since my BFP with DD... Going to stay with family on 13th though which is day AF due and need to know before then! Also my bday on 21st ;)

fingerscrossedgirl · 04/08/2010 22:50

This is only my 2nd 2ww, cowboy - though last month there was so little BD'ing it practically doesn't count - let's call this round one too! Good luck to you!

cowboylover · 04/08/2010 22:28

Ohh just a note to say Hi from a lurker!

I will be having my wait soon as this will be my 1st so excited and hope its my only one but I know thats asking a bit much.

Good luck all x

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 04/08/2010 19:45

I've had thrush many many many times and I often don't have symptoms beyond an inability to heal properly down there (don't ask as it is way TMI!). Thankfully I now know what to look out for.

Another BFN and no AF. Hmm. Will attempt not to test til the weekend.

curiouselle · 04/08/2010 18:19

Oh yes I echo fingerscrossedgirl, last time I had thrush it was so bad I slept with ice between my legs (no laughing please) and when I went to the Dr, she said oooooo yes that's bad - just what you want to hear!
