A slightly drunken post from me tonight!!!

Well I got a bfn this morning. I was ok with that, as that was what I was expecting tbh. So have had 1 or 2 (or 5 or 6) glasses of vino with some very good friends tonight.

BUT.......no af yet. So now am wracked with wine induced guilt. Just in case.

Also, if I had a £ for every time someone asked me if we're having any more children since we started ttc..........well I'd retire!!! How do they know????!!!

Apologies for wino post, see you in the morning for normal service lol.

Fairygodmother1 · 07/08/2010 21:22

PMPL!!!! You've laid down the challenge...they rest of us that still need to win that baby must oblige.

Ok so not quite halfway there yet!!! Envy

NOTHEROLDIE · 07/08/2010 19:17

Mais non!! It was last month... honest!
But will keep trying!

Loujalou · 07/08/2010 19:13

Yeh but Youngy you completed that before you joined us Wink think you need to try again.

Hey hey FAIRY I'd like to amend your post by adding that the record is 9, ( AHEM) by me!!

I know BICCIE is close behind and still has time for a few SFF sessions, but until its recorded on here, (and verfied by an independant panel of judges, possibly LEMONY with her pom-poms) I am still in the lead.

Oh by golly this is making me competetive!Wink

we've got the pre-seed and DH is going to go for a full week of it. HELP!

Fairygodmother1 · 07/08/2010 13:43

Morning!

How you feeling Umb?

Yeah any news? Just drink anyway as it'd be too early for the effects to hit the baby - mother nature is good in that way!

I'm now Fairy-3shags-G so almost 1/2 way there in the Fred record of 8!

How's everyone's saturday?

x

Bicnod · 07/08/2010 08:56

harassed - news???

Umbongo men would just explode - literally, all over the house - if they had to deal with our hormones

UmBongo · 07/08/2010 07:24

Good luck to all testing and symptom spotting, I'll be there with you back in that insanity routine soon!

I decided the other day, you know they have those experiments sometimes where they make a bloke wear a strap-on preggy belly, well they should do that but feed them a cocktail of insanity-inducing hormones too. Now that would make for good TV!!!!!!

harassedinhants · 06/08/2010 14:09

Going to test in the morning anyway. Going to a bbq in the afternoon/evening and want to know if I can get totally slaughtered slightly merry Wink.

Fingers x'd for both of us....can't manage to cross my legs any more Shock!!!!!

Bicnod · 06/08/2010 13:30

Next Thursday. Erk.

Don't give up hope yet harassed - I think lots of people feel crampy when they win their two lines.

harassedinhants · 06/08/2010 13:23

If only he knew!!!

Not feeling at all positive this month tbh, convinced ERTD will get me. Tummy is really crampy, and haven't had any pg symptoms at all apart from being knackered. But then I'm a working mum.....it's par for the course.

When are you due bicnod?

Bicnod · 06/08/2010 12:52

harassed will keep fingers crossed that ERTD stays away for you

Sorry but LOL at 'All that SWI'ing and thrush for nothing....' - if only the menfolk knew Grin

harassedinhants · 06/08/2010 12:50

Umbongo - well done for getting through the day, must be very hard but sounds like you're doing well. Sending un-MN hugs.

Bicnod ahh excellent ss'ing!

Lemony hope the sickness eases. I had it badly with dd, up until 20 weeks. Lost lots of weight, was great lol!

Af due today (cd28) and I reckon it's gonna get me if the crampy tummy is anything to go by. Pissed off!!!! All that SWI'ing and thrush for nothing.... Angry

Bicnod · 06/08/2010 12:38

My symptoms are in my head

  • funny stabby pains yesterday on right hand side of uterus area - clearly this must have been implantation Hmm
  • slightly more pant snot than usual (stole that phrase from the JS thread)
  • tired (I have a 15mo)
  • felt a bit queasy last night (I hadn't eaten for ages)

So really there are none.

If I could do a really un-PC sticking my tongue into lower lip while mouth is closed and making a 'nuh' sound emoticon I would.

Loujalou · 06/08/2010 09:46

So Biccie8shags what are your symptoms?? Go on - I do the same. Think I have ovulated but shagged last night just in case.

Fivealive sending you huge hugs. xxx Also passing you some baileys and milk. Its tastes like milkshake but has booze. Genius!

Bicnod · 06/08/2010 09:18

Lou I do running. If RTD gets me next week I'll start it up again.

Lemony sorry about your sickness :( hope you don't have to put up with it for the whole 40 weeks.

UmBongo well done for getting through the day. I reckon taking it one hour at a time, one day at a time is the way forward. Sending hugs and looking forward to competing with you in shagwatch soon Wink

I am soooooooo symptom spotting. ARGH.

Loujalou · 06/08/2010 08:28

I don't do running but thought its cheap and cheerful so will give it a go..... I also did a legs bums and tums class (which I have been doing for a while) last night. If all this exercise doesn't make a difference to my weight then I might have to stop eating cakes!

OP posts:
Fairygodmother1 · 05/08/2010 22:33

I'll Wii Fit if that helps....

UmBongo · 05/08/2010 22:30

Not too bad today, managed mentally (just, in places!) and bleeding is really quite light today! Really quite surprised actually that I seem to have got away with it quite lightly!!!

Felt a bit wobbly in places but we have been out with friends all day so ds has been playing with other kids which has certainly been easier than staying here all day!!!!

Lou I will run from my couch, I will get out on my bike when the bleeding stops, but I don't do running!!!

Icedlemonmuffin · 05/08/2010 20:18

Sorry Lou won't be running with you but I will cheer from the comfort of the couch!

Oldie my sickness with dd lasted until the day I gave birth but this time seems more under control with the medication I'm on. I still feel really sick some days but the voming has been greatly reduced this week, so fingers crossed.

Well going for a bath which seems to be the only place I don't feel sick!

UmBongo hope you are feeling ok today.

Loujalou · 05/08/2010 18:00

Right anyone [{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/big_slim_whatever_weight_loss_club/1015354-Couch-to-5k gonna join me]] in my couch to 5k. I am not a person who has ever run and I am going to give it a go.... We will see.

NOTHEROLDIE · 05/08/2010 14:50

BICCIE so long as some of your magic8 were around that time, it gives you a good chance. Do you use POAS for OV? So you can tell what day?

I got POAS (ov) on offer today in Boots. £30 for 14 (thats 2 packs) which was a LOT cheaper than Clearblue etc. Preg tests on offer too.... you might be needing them!

UMBONGO hope you're feeling ok and not bleeding too much now. Hope we didnt embarrass you in the Lavs, not much room was there? good party tho

Lemonymuffinlady Hope the sickness is getting better, how long does it last?

Fairy nice to see you back. I do recall you from the last thread, which I have to say had me gripped from start to finish. Good to see you are 'up and running' again. 2 in a night, wey-hey!

We're back on track, DH is raring to go. He'll be hard to beat I tell you, tho of course you win if you get to the 2 lines before us!

Bicnod · 05/08/2010 10:55

I'm still hoping for some SFF before next week so that I can at least equal nother's record

But VERY impressed with 2 in one night - that is hardcore fairy - not sure DH and can compete.

Went for CD21 blood tests today. RTD due one week today but fairly sure I ov-ed late (CD17/18ish) so not sure what that means for my cycle.

ARggggggggggggggggggggggh!

Loujalou · 05/08/2010 08:16

Two in one night! Bliming hell.

Youngy she got 9 in a month! So still some work to do on that front.

Wax on wax off!
